Absolutely love one of the waiters there named Andrew. He's always so attentive and personable. Literally makes the entire experience a blast. He remembers us every time we come and makes us feel like family. More than half the time he brings me a beverage (I always get the same thing) before he even greets us. We went to night and I was with a child so I thought he was being a picky eater but nope, was just pretty terrible food. We got chips and salsa and the chips were soggy? I'm not sure if it was grease or water or what but no thanks. For entrees there were ribs and their chicken crispers both of which were lacking. His ribs were very fatty and slathered in so much sauce you couldn't really see it was meat. My chicken crispers were anything but crisp, the breading was doughy as if it was undercooked. We frequent this spot as my husband and I love the 2 for $20 deal. Eat in or takeout you really can't beat it. I typically get the fajitas or the grilled chicken salad and my husband gets the margarita chicken or burger, we share the chips and guacamole. We've never had complaints with the quality of the food. We've dined in a few times and the service does tend to be a little slow, and the waitstaff not all that friendly. It's a hit or miss on that account. We waited for at least 15 minutes tonight before our waitress came to take our drink order. A family of 4 came in after us, ate and left Lon before we were. Haven't been to Chili's in a while and really wanted Chicken Fajitas so we went today. After we got our table, it took about 5-7 minutes to get a server to come over to say hi. We ordered drinks and the 2 for $25 meal all at once. Our drinks took about 7 -10 minutes to get. Then our chips and salsa followed by about 3 minutes. Our main dishes showed up 2 minutes later. While the food was good, nobody came over to check on us. Finally 5 minutes after eating a server came back and asked if i wanted a box She never came back with it. I had to get my own. I get it, it's Chili's not fine dining but I remember when this was one of the better chains. My kids love the chips so when they get to pick, we end up here. Started by ordering carnitas and was told they no longer have any pork products. When I asked why all of the items were still on the menu the manager shot back with a curt "it's corporates decision, not mine". The chips were greasy, table and floor were dirty and service was slow. My kids grilled chicken was rubbery to the point of inedible. The waitstaff's attitude was the only plus. Went in for drinks and apps..... drinks were good.... Apps were good but the service HORRIBLE! People at another table came in after us and got full blown meals before our apps came out. When we got our apps we didn't get plates. Waitress wouldn't even acknowledge us when did try to get her attention. I have been to other Chili's location around South Eastern, Ma and by far this location is the best one. I love the newly renovated dining space and the family friendly atmosphere. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. She had a few laughs with our kids and she made sure to check on us often to fill our drinks etc. Food was great. First time I didn't have to pack my plate to go. The only thing that bother me was the hostess. We asked for a booth but she said there was none available to accommodate us at the moment but clearly there was a few right by us. Besides that we had a nice dinner with the kids. Cleanliness could have been better, there were some dirty tables around us but our table was very clean and the other tables were cleaned while we waited for our food so perhaps those people had just left. Chili's is plain in Plainville, especially when the service is excruciatingly slow despite the fact that the restaurant itself is practically empty. It's not encouraging when servers/waiters essentially make a point of ignoring you, despite the fact you're in plain view in plain sight. The food is superior to the service. They make good salads, and the cheese enchilada/salad combo worked. Plus, they have clean restrooms. The good food made up for the subpar service. The cleanliness of the restaurant was awful for Sunday lunch. I asked the hostess to help wipe down a disgusting high chair she had brought over for me and she brought over two napkins. Thank you I definitely could have done that myself. I was hoping she might get the disinfect spray and rag. To be fair it was SUPER busy it was the day after Christmas, so the extremely slow service is the reason for the 4 stars, it took us about an hour and a half for lunch. BUT with that the waiter was extremely friendly, the food as always was delicious, and overall it was a good experience. My wife and love this Chilies, I got the Triple Dipper which is a no brainer! Did Chili's improve their game or what?! Last time I went to a Chili's at a different location, I got microwaved lettuce and dried up rice & beans and over cooked meat. Stopping at this location because most places were closed, I am not mad at my decision. Looks like they got much more attractive items on the menu now, but I chose fajitas with steak & shrimp and friend got steak & chicken. Let me start by saying from the looks of it, they have perfected the fajita! Sizzling hot, loads of meat and perfectly seasoned and most importantly perfectly cooked! Steak was medium, shrimp was plump, and chicken was tender and white. Presented nicely with grilled onions, green AND red peppers, a generous cup of beans, but a little lacking on the portion of rice, but was really good! Alongside 3 warm corn tortillas, lime wedge, cheese, a dollop of sour cream, scoop of guac, and a spoonful of pico de Gallo with FRESH cilantro, not dehydrated, and a little serving of salsa to complete it all. Honestly one of the best fajitas I've ever had, even tops many other locale Mexican places! I'm happy for this Chile's, they should keep it up. read more

We have always been fans of Chili's. Their food is always consistently good. And their drinks are more often than not strong and fairly priced. They have added a lot of new items to the menu. I have tried about 90% of them... all are yummy. And their margaritas and mixed drinks are decent. They are accommodating to couples with children. They hand out crayons and an activity packet... I'm a fan. Their kids menu has a decent variety, even for the picky eaters. We recently discovered that our daughter LOVES their mac n' cheese. True I can make it at home... but if it makes her happy. Then I am happy. Also a favorite hangout for my coworkers. If we get out at a decent time we will drive the 3 seconds it takes to get there... and order appetizers and drinks. Definitely a plus after a crazy night of psycho guests. read more

It's Chili's. The food was pretty sub-par. Our fried pickles came out with very little breading, and the breading fell right off when you tried to pick one up. The menu touts how "special" it's new pickles are, but I was charged extra for 4 small slices of pickle to put on the one burger option that lacked them. The waitress also gave me a hard time about the ranch sauce that used to come with the Big-Mouth bites telling me "they put on extra now and don't give you any to dip". Half my burgers didn't even look like they had any ranch on them. The typical Chili's food is worse than before and I don't know if that's the location or the change of times or what. It was a dark and stormy night... and I didn't want to make some delivery guy trek out in the rain, so I decided I'd do the driving and pickup dinner at Chili's. Finding out they had car side to go was a bonus. I entered my phone number and received a text that told me my food would be ready at 6:47 and to text "here" when I got in the parking lot. I pulled in to the lot at 6:45, texted "here" and got a reply back confirming that the food would be out at 6:47. From where I was parked, I could see the takeout desk and saw several bags of food in the window. 10 minutes go by, and no food, and no signs of activity at the takeout desk. So I call the restaurant and ask what the status of my food was, as it was 10 minutes past the promised delivery time. I got an indifferent response from whoever answered, with no acknowledgment of the delay, and that they'd send someone out. As I feared, I watched as a woman inside grabbed one of the bags of food that had been sitting on the counter the whole time and when I say she took her sweet time getting the food out, it almost made me think she was purposefully walking the food out slowly to me because I had called and asked about it (although I was polite on the phone and polite with her when she finally arrived at my car. I wasn't going to hold court in the rain.) When I got home, the food was warm at best, although it did still taste pretty good, so 2 stars for that. read more

This is the newest Chili's in the area that was installed as part of a brand new shopping center off the Rt. 1 highway. It's absolutely great. Incredibly nice, friendly, and attentive bar tenders and just awesome service all around. Management is great. I have chatted with the manager a couple of times and he is a really down-to-earth and friendly guy. Happy hour is what really makes this place so special. Cheap food and $2.00 draft beers at the bar. And the beers that are on sale are constantly changing with the seasons. As of this post, Coors Light and Sam's are on sale right now. Where else can you get Sam's for $2.00?? Little known secret, the chips and salsa are FREE if you sit at the bar. So I can go in there on a Thursday, kill about 4 beers while eating free chips and salsa and walk away with an 8 dollar tab. Nothing in the entire area can even come CLOSE to competing with those prices. The food is always phenomenal. The cheeseburger sliders are one of my favorites. I also highly recommend the Quesadilla Explosion Salad. It's probably one of the best salads I have got from a chain restaurant (and I don't even like salad) Food can sometimes be on the salty side, but that appeals to me so I think it's terrific. Their menu just recently changed, and they have added many new meals, so if you haven't been there in a while you might want to revisit them. Bathrooms are always very clean, parking is plentiful, service is awesome, and beers and food (can be) cheap. What more could you ask for in a chain restaurant? P.S. If you build up a rapport with the bar tenders, they will treat you very well. I even got a free meal from the manager because I go there almost every other week. I went here wanting to try their "top shelf" tacos. If they continue to make them like mine do yourself a favor and go to Taco Bell instead... If they follow the same standards as they did with mine I'd suggest ordering something else since most of their items are very good! This visit I'm giving it a 3 star because my girlfriends meal was great! 5 stars for her grilled sirloin with avocado and 1 star for my "top shelf" chicken ranchero soft tacos so that's why I bumped it up to a very generous 3 star rating. I told the waitress that I was very disappointed, pointing to the menu photo and asking do these look at all like the photo?? She agreed and said she could get some more fillings for it (less the meat). I declined and she left. Now usually a manager comes over to check on a unhappy customer but I guess the manager was too busy to bother even though the place was only half full. My second time here, ordering ahead both times. First time they missed 2 sides that I paid for. When we called we were promised coupons as a "sorry". They never came. Just went to pick up food to give them one meet chance. Order was called in 1.5 hours ago. When I arrived, nobody could find order (which was pre-paid)!
