    Watermelon margarita
    Ashley Y.

Chili's is underrated in my opinion! It always hits the spot. I love their quesadilla explosion salad. I get it with the honey chipotle chicken crispers. I had a casa amigos watermelon margarita and it was just okay. I've had better margs elsewhere. Our server was very sweet and attentive, checking on us regularly even after it got busy. Chilis has more of a loud ambiance but not too loud. They play sporting events on the tvs and it's definitely a place you can go with kids and have a decent meal.

The food was excellent and served warm, and the waitress was very friendly. Wonderful dining experience!

During a Mommy/Daughter movie & lunch date, I brought my daughter to Chili's, her favorite spot. We arrived around 2pm and it wasn't packed at all, but it took a few minutes (maybe 3) to be acknowledge and seated. I actually saw a bartender look at me a couple of times and get (who I assumed was) the Manager's attention so that I could be seated. To be fair, I did also see, whi ended up being my waitress, look at me waiting but she was with another table at the time. Once seated,e everything was fine. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were delicious.

I haven't been to a Chilies in 9 years, but today I had the urge for their southwestern egg rolls and after one bite, I remembered why I haven't been back in 9 years. Talk about awful. The food is stale and salty, and there's a cloying salty aftertaste that's chemical, yucky. Bleh! So bummed and disappointed. The food is overcooked, over salted, should have gone to Publix instead. My arteries are hardening and blood pressure sky rocketing as I right this. And the Southwest egg rolls used to be a major highlight. So sad! It's terrible how the company has allowed/encouraged the food's depreciation. Anyway, gotta go vomit now... $90 down the toilet The rest of the food in the photos is going in the trash (hope no rats get into it). We've all had our taste and all agreed, it's awful.

The quesadilla I didn't eat and the rest of my salad I tried to pick through after already consuming an exaggerated amount of cheese.

Let me start with the highlight of the visit: our waitress, Tara, was phenomenal. Attentive, accommodating, and genuinely kind -- she's the reason this review isn't lower. Five-star service without question. Now, Chili's is my daughter's favorite, so we're regulars. I usually stick with my go-to: the eggrolls and the quesadilla salad. It's a reliable combo that I've enjoyed for years. This visit, however, was... off. When the salad arrived, something didn't seem right. At first glance it was hard to tell, but thankfully I noticed before pouring on the dressing -- they had served me honey mustard instead of the standard dressing. No big deal, mistakes happen. While waiting for that to be corrected, I took a bite of my cheese quesadilla, which was unfortunately cold, soggy, and overloaded with cheese. I asked Tara (bless her) if that could be fixed too when she came back with the correct dressing. As for the salad... where was the salad part? It was just a mound of cheese with some lettuce hidden underneath. I normally devour every bite, but this time I found myself picking through the cheese trying to salvage something edible. I let Tara know -- not to complain, but just so it could be improved for future guests. What happened next really soured the experience. A gentleman (manager, maybe?) came over to "address" the issue. Instead of acknowledging the feedback, he basically lectured me about how the salad is made "to spec" and maybe next time I should order the cheese on the side. Mind you, I've been eating this salad for 20 years -- I know what it's supposed to be. His tone was condescending, and frankly, he smelled bad, which made the interaction even more unpleasant. The attitude matched the stench. All in all, I'll probably be back because my daughter loves it, but this visit was disappointing -- saved only by Tara's excellent service. Management might want to work on how they handle guest feedback -- especially from loyal, long-time customers. Also - my daughter was happy, everything came out to order for her.

I haven't been to this Chili's location (Plantation, FL) in a while, and I won't be coming back. Although the establishment was clean, the service was sub-par and the quality of food has fallen below average in comparison to where it used to be. This location used to be a primary training location, if it still is, there needs to be more re-training. I'm very disappointed as this location used to be a great location.

This is a chain restaurant, so you know the menu and you know the setting. This was a very well kept and clean establishment. We enjoyed the over all orderly manner of which the restaurant was kept. Our food was fresh and as expected. Very pleasant and inviting. We appreciated ever bite. Our server was fun and attentive and I would love to have her as our server again...her name was Reese. Great experience from a well know establishment that doesn't always perform to our standards. We will visit again!

    Surf & Turf Sirloin* - 10oz

First of all, I ordered the surf & turf sirloin 10oz Medium term and they brought me a medium well/well done cooked steak. On the menu was advised that it came with a dozen shrimps (12) and they brought like 4-5 shrimps that were cold, and they looked like someone's leftovers. For a plate that cost $30 it should be better. Also, my boyfriend ordered the fajita trio that comes with black beans but apparently they forgot to add the beans. Really bad experience.

Always love Chili's and the food. I've been coming since before I had two cool kids. I say cool because they now love Chili's just as much as me. Service is usually top tier (kitchen at some locations are hit and miss) Plantation has mostly been on point. The ambience is great for big groups, families and hanging out after work for happy hour. Can't wait for my next reward to kick in to go again!

Sidecar Speakeasy was the play... The speakeasy entrance was hidden in a hallway you can walk right by without even noticing. I dig it. Once inside, it's dark. Most of the light is coming from the light showcasing the bottles in the bar. The seating is a little tight as they're trying to maximize space for such a small area. We visited here twice during my visit: We sat at a table and a bar. You have the perfect amount of space for your party, but you're pretty close to the next table or bar seat. No claustrophobic vibes though. All the mixologists were great during both visits. One visit, we ordered their signature cocktails from the menu. When we sat at the bar, we had the mixologist surprise with a cocktail off the menu. He just asked what kind of liquor vibe we wanted, and he took it from there. He was super creative with every cocktail which made for a great time. They stayed upon until midnight one one visit and until 1 am on the other one. Both my visits were on a weekday. The sidecar speakeasy is easily my favorite bar in Fort Lauderdale and I have a feeling I'll be back. Enjoy!

They were amazing and they weren't spears or slices they were bite size barely breaded (yay!) bites with a little bit of heat sauce. So good! They are obviously not made from frozen and are soooooo good! We then had the pretzel bites. It came with a thick cheese sauce that had a kick. My husband and I loved them too! I can confidently say they delivered on one of those things, the experience. Unfortunately, the food felt like a failed attempt to escape... an escape room. Let's start with what absolutely works. The location is stunning. Truly breathtaking. The views are spectacular, the atmosphere is elegant, and the setting makes you feel like you have unlocked a premium level of Fort Lauderdale nightlife. The service is upscale and unhurried. No one rushes you, no one pressures you, and you are encouraged to linger and enjoy the moment. From a vibe perspective, you are winning. The drink menu is limited, but what they offer is top notch. Well crafted, balanced, and enjoyable. Think of the drinks as the first puzzle you solve successfully. Confidence is high at this point. Then the food arrives, and this is where the escape attempt starts to fall apart. We began with the bruschetta, which was absolutely dominated by balsamic. Not gently accented. Not thoughtfully drizzled. This was a full-scale balsamic ambush that completely overwhelmed the dish. Puzzle one failed. Next came the octopus. Perfectly cooked. Tender. Juicy. Textbook execution. Unfortunately, the flavor was nowhere to be found. Every bite was completely hijacked by the beans in the dish, leaving the octopus feeling like a background prop in its own plate. Puzzle two failed, morale dropping. Then came the calamari and mussels. Once again, the seafood was cooked properly, but flavor had clearly escaped through a hidden exit. Bland, forgettable, and confusing in how something prepared this well could taste like so little. Puzzle three failed, clock ticking. The fourth dish was the caprese salad, which somehow managed to swing in the opposite direction of the bruschetta. The tomatoes tasted like they were fresh from a grocery store shelf. The balsamic barely showed up this time, as if it had used up all its energy earlier. The mozzarella sat there watery and bland, contributing nothing and offering no clues. Final puzzle failed. Escape attempt unsuccessful. By the end of the meal, I felt like I had just spent two hours in an escape room where everything looked incredible, the staff was friendly, the room design was flawless, but none of the puzzles worked and you never actually escaped. Overall, Escape Rooftop Bar delivers breathtaking views, excellent service, and strong drinks. But the food turns the entire experience into a beautifully designed trap. When expectations are sky high and the kitchen cannot deliver, the disappointment hits harder. Two stars, awarded for the scenery, the cocktails, and the hope that one day the food finds the exit.
