A standard in Reno, a chain, but good food, good service, big portions at a reasonable price. Tonight we had the chicken crispers and fries, a couple of kids meals, the big chicken sandwich which is huge and the always dependable baked potato soup. Everything was good. Our server was great and the place was really full on a Sunday night.

First time to stop here. We did it after church and I was not disappointed they had a steak they served here. That was absolutely fabulous after our meal that we had, I ordered their lava cake. OMG! Was it fabulous? No comparison to any other lava cake anywhere. I think I was so impressed with it. It's all I can say no matter what I'll be back for that lava cable. Oh yeah the steak too. It was that good

If you want to get bang for your buck, try the specials. Starting at $10.99, the (three for me) includes a drink, starter, and main. I enjoy it because I can find a gluten-free meal. My favorite here is the Steak Fajitas. I always leave with leftovers (that's how much there is). The steak is cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning. with grilled peppers and onions. It is served with beans, rice, cheese, pico de gallo, tortillas, and sour cream. I ordered guacamole to go with it. My husband and my daughter's fiancé ordered burgers. My daughter got the triple dipper. That used to be my favorite until I went gluten-free. My son got the Cajun Shrimp pasta. We got chips, salsa, and Chicken Bacon Ranch Nachos. The nachos were so scrumptious. I could see myself getting that for my dinner. What a lip smacking bite. Service was great. They made to keep up on our drinks. Everyone enjoyed their meals with lots of laughter between bites. This restaurant is located off McCarran and close to Mae Anne.

Solid experience overall. The service was great from start to finish. Our server was friendly, attentive, and kept things moving without feeling rushed. I ordered the tossed chicken tenders and they came out quickly, hot, and exactly what I was hoping for. Crispy, well sauced, and satisfying. Everything on the table looked good and the portions were solid. Nothing fancy, but it delivered on what Chili's does well: dependable food, good service, and a smooth experience. Would happily come back.

I never imagined I'd review Chili's but here I am. Somewhere in the parenting manual it states that you shall compromise on your ideals when it means your children will smile, and that's how I ended up at Chili's in the first place. Now back in the day, I loved Chili's. The Cajun chicken sandwich, topped with chipotle ranch and crispy onion strings, was my go to before I learned about calories. The food was good, but I always felt like they delivered great value too, and I'm happy to report that this holds true today. My kids became fans of this restaurant after my wife took them here. They love the kids menu, which has a lot of options for them to choose from and a menu format that lets them make their own selections to share with the server. For the grown-ups, we like the pick three meals because it means we get a variety at a very reasonable price. I got the chicken tortilla soup And the newer version of the grilled chicken sandwich which has guacamole on top of it and bacon and then went for the unhealthy side of french fries. The food has remained solid. It's nothing incredible but it will fill you up and you will think it taste good. The addition of a basket of bottomless chips and salsa also doesn't hurt there's something about their chips which are so Lacey thin and salty that you just can't get enough of. The service is where this place shines though. Their servers are so well trained. They listen to guests and Can often anticipate needs very well. They're quick to solve problems or deliver additional items and generally make this experience just that much better. At first, I thought my wife was crazy for taking my kids to eat here, but after having a family experience there and seeing the smiles on their faces and enjoy enjoying the experience myself, I see why this place is still around and would not hesitate to return.

The team here is always genuinely happy. Ive never had a slow meal or bad service. The food can be mid af because it's a chain, but it is usually pretty good! Above average stars for the staff actually enjoying themselves.

Oldtimer w/cheese and fries, chips and salsa and really good iced tea

Came in solo because my husband had an appointment. I feel comfortable being by myself here because Jose takes such good care of his customers. I was very hungry and ordered the 3 for me with a garden salad, Oldtimer with cheese and fries. The salad was fresh and the blue cheese dressing is a hit with me so I polished that off first. We always get the chips and salsa that are better than most Mexican restaurants, and take home what we can't finish. I ended up taking half the burger and most of the fries home as well. Good quality food, great customer service and welcoming atmosphere. See you next time!

Great time at chilis before the movies! Had there famous wicked drinks and triple dipper which was awesome! Service was fast and could pay at the table so we didn't have to wait. The vibe was chill and easy going! Great place to have lunch before a movie!

Solid food and drinks with very good service. We were able to walk in and be seated right away Halloween night even though the restaurant seemed pretty full. We loved the Wicked themed drinks, surprisingly well made and tasty. The ribs, fries, and chicken crispers were delicious and I love the ranch they use. Our server, Alyssa was great, and really attentive. We had a great time and will definitely be back again!

Service was good we had a pleasant meal we also got the three dip starter. We had a refill once. My meal was tasty I took the rest home for later. I definitely recommend eatting the mozzarella at the restaurant it's not good heated up. Chicken was great though! Someone else got the fajitas and they sounded amazing.

Special monthly top shelf Margherita $5!!!!

I decided to sit at the bar tonight. This place was amazingly busy at 5:30 PM. It was just easier to grab a seat at the bar. Bartender was my food server, and she was extremely friendly. As busy as she was, she still took time to talk to each of the customers. Each month they have a margarita special. This month it is a Merry maker margarita. Includes strawberry puree, monin blackberry, Cointreau, Lunazul blanco tequila and fresh sour. It is served in an extremely large martini glass on the rocks. What I ordered: Merry maker margarita Three for $10.99 Margarita (up charge $3.99) Chips and salsa Old timer burger (medium) with fries Seven different monitors/TVs to watch hockey, golf, football, basketball all playing at the same time. There is closed captions. There were quite a few people at the bar, but not like a regular going out bar no one is talking to each other. I took a while to order just enjoying my monthly margarita and chips and salsa. When I finally ordered it did take about 30 minutes for the burger to arrive. Considering how packed this place was, I probably should've ordered sooner lol. Food arrived and was cooked perfectly. Good fries. All in all it was just

Came in for a quick lunch, big mouth bites and fries, and was pleasantly surprised by the extremely friendly staff and bartender. Tiara the server was very kind and helpful, smiled the entire experience and seemed to truly love her job. Jose was behind the bar and offered food suggestions as well as good conversation and company; while the food is always great, quick and tasty, the service today was top notch. Will definitely return for the friendly faces and free chips and salsa (with rewards number)! Thanks for a good afternoon Chilis!

No, the Governor is not requiring reservations any longer. If you have a big party I would, but it's not required.

It was such a beautiful day.... where can we eat outside?…read more I found "The Spot", its in the old Smee's location on the river. When we showed up, we asked if we could sit at a table outside, the guy was a little overwhelmed, he said "I can sit you in 10 mins". I said "can we have this table". OK, but....just know I'll be with you as soon as I get caught up, I'm totally fine with that I said. . He bought us a couple menus to look over. Then a table on the railing with shade opened up, I didn't care about the table was dirty with dishes, so we decided to move. I love to look at the river and watch the people go by. The server said, I'll be over soon! He was never so happy when Sierra showed up to help him out. He came over to our table I said "I hope you don't mind, I moved to be in the shade, I know I'm one of those pain in the ass customers". Then he started joking with me and it was the perfect ice breaker. My server and part owner's name is Casey! He is an awesome guy and such a hard worker to ensure his customers are taken care of. I love that. We had a couple beers, he has quite the selection of beers on tap, he supports the community breweries such as Lead Dog and Revisions. My husband had the breakfast burrito $13, it was huge with homemade tortilla chips with salad and guacamole. I had the fish and chips. You get three large pieces of fish, fries and yummy coleslaw. I love how they put the tater sauce and ketchups in personal cups for you that shows class. My fish was absolutely delicious better than the old Smees and especially the new location. You get a nice meal for $20. They have indoor, outdoor, bar seating. They have a little merch area and a gaming bar if you feel lucky. I know the Open Championship Bowlers are in town, if you're looking for nice comfort food "tavern style" location this is the place for you on the Reno Riverwalk 50 N Sierra. It upstairs.

After some searching The Spot is what caught our eye. Located by the river and where Reef and Smees used to be. including what you ordered or used, Since this was a new spot we decided to just order and share a ton of appetizers. This included: cup of cream of mushroom soup, pretzel bites, spinach dip, poutine fries and Brussel sprouts. 2/5 were a huge hit where the orders we would not try again. Cup of mushroom soup: cup size is a good appetizer portion, good mushroom taste but WAY too salty. Would not order again. Pretzel bites: SUPER YUM! Slightly crunchy at the corners and fluffy inside. Perfectly bite sized and great dips (cheese and mustard). Loved these and would absolutely order again. Spinach dip: not a fan. The one thing I did like about this is that the dip portion was extremely generous, but I was not a fan of the taste. For me it was like slightly watered down sour cream. You have the options of chips or baguette. We went with baguette and for the first time in my life, the dipping vessels were very scant compared to the amount of dip so if anyone orders this, I would recommend it with chips. Would not order again. Poutine fries: YUM! Definitely a shareable portion. Thin fries topped with yummy breaded cheese curds and piping hot gravy this was my favorite thing. The gravy was perfectly salted and I loved the breaded cheese curds. I do wish the fries were thicker, like a wedge cut but honestly these were insanely good. Will order again. Brussel sprouts: made with bacon which is always a must for that yummy flavor. Also drizzled with balsamic which is a win in my book. These were very tender and delicious but very oily or greasy which kind of gave me the ick but flavor was definitely there. Will not order again. We were seated immediately upon arriving and waters were brought out. Orders were taken quickly and food came out quick! However after the food came out, no one came to check on us, see how we were doing or clear plates. We were always having to flag someone down for refills, napkins and the check. It wasn't busy. The inside is clean, has a large bar area and outdoor seating. Also lots of TVs. I don't think I'll be returning, but I do recommend the poutine fries and pretzel bites. Things to note: Have to walk up stairs to enter. No private parking lot, have to street park and a lot of parking is metered. 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday - Saturday & free on Sundays / holidays.

He said, "My grandson's cheese pizza looked good, but was like a hard, chewy piece of cardboard," and I tasted it, and I agree. They had been here once before for dinner, dine-in, about eight months ago, and I was pretty pleased. Not sure if the times are tough, or if they've had a change in style, but the food has really gone downhill. The owner of Ruby Shake Shop routinely parks his Audi in the limited public street parking spaces along South Virginia Street directly in front of Raising Cane's, Ike's Love & Sandwiches, and the surrounding businesses. Anyone familiar with this area knows parking can already be difficult, especially during peak hours when people are trying to grab lunch, pick up an order, or make a quick stop. What makes this particularly frustrating is that these spaces appear to be occupied for extended periods of time, often throughout the day, by someone who owns and operates a nearby business. Public street parking in a busy commercial corridor is a shared resource intended to serve customers and visitors, not to function as a personal parking space for a single business owner. The numerous booths were cute, but really too small for four people. there were quite a few larger tables for eight or 10 people. Four four , It's a lot of cozy togetherness, which is probably fine for a family, but not for other circumstances. The halibut entrée was very good. The short ribs were kind of average. The other two guests were mixed in their review of the entrées as well. Our our server was super nice , attentive and knowledgeable - while he was with us - but would disappear for long periods of time such that we had to get up to get their attention several times to get additional items. The restaurant was not particularly crowded, but there was something going on at another nearby table - perhaps a VIP, family friends or owner (?) that attracted a gathering of several servers for long periods of time, so it was hard to get our servers attention. I'd be surprised if that was a common scenario, but it happened while we were there. Ambient noise was fine . Prices were on the higher side for my expectation, but the presentation was very nice. It was pretty good, would probably do 3 1/2 stars if I could, but it definitely isn't equal to the various four stars I've rated locally.
