Chili's Riverdale, NJ 07457 : The place needs to shut down when Macaroni Grill Closed! First walking in there, there are no employees there in both of the dining areas to seat you. When you do finally get seated it takes a bit more time for someone to come up to you. First and foremost, the place is a complete rip off. $30 with tip for two basic grilled chicken sandwiches with nothing special on it. I could of gone to shop right and for $4 make myself both. So we're sitting in the bar area, and the spanish female bartender makes physical threats to an employee "going to Fn punch them in the throad" not once but two times! Nice making physical threats to another employee. So it doesnt stop from there, this person thinks the bar area is her own personal grooming area, she takes her hair down on three separate instances right in front of open glasses, open ice bins, plates, silver wear and everything else, thinks there's nothing wrong with getting her hair in your meal and drinks. To top it all off, and this is the most discusting part, she sneezes right into the same area, into her left arm while wearing a short sleeve shirt. Doesnt bother to use a napkin or head off right into the bathroom to go wash her arm, no she thinks being a disease ridden spreading bug to infect others isnt perfectly normal. There was no manner ever in the area for hours, wonder where they were? Its your job to look at the front end, not sitting there in your closet sized office doing who knows what, if you got work to do, you grab a table in the corner and watch the dining area. Ontop of that they have no idea of what the pricing was for the same thing we ordered 3 times in a row, nothing new the same, first day got charged $11.99, then $8.99, then today $9.99 for the same exact thing. 1/3 of the people in the place had attitude problems. Chili's is the best place to eat! The first time I went I was hooked! Had a great burger slider with the best amazing dressing! Couldn't believe Ranch could taste THAT GOOD! Simply delicioso! read more

The amount of times that this place will fuck up an online order is unbelievable. Of the three orders I placed in the past month all had errors. Either their staff cannot read or they simply don't put any effort into reviewing the order. read more

what can I say? yes sometimes I do go to chain restaurants like chilies for example which is my favorite chain restaurant of all time!!! I had a good experience here. The food is good its a chain after all so nothing super special. But I have say the service is great. The waiter Joe and waitress crystal are both wonderful people. I went for lunch the with my 3 year old son there the other day and I was already seated and I ordered my food and app already when I went into my bag and noticed my wallet was not in there I panicked and felt completely embarrassed. But joe and crystal assured me that it was alright and that I could go home get the wallet and come back or call my husband and get our cc info through him so I can pay the bill. I ended up calling my husband. It was nice to see that they actually trusted me enough to leave come back and pay the bill without stiffing them. read more

went there tonight for the last time. every time we go there, there is an issue. first time we went there the server didn't put our order in. seond time we go there they mess up my wifes order. tonight was the worst. we are seated promptly (thats the best part, why i give them 2 stars) we wait 10 minutes before the server shows up and starts telling us the specials, we've already looked over the menu so we know what we want. she brings over the ICED tea we ordered and i guess the bartender doesn't know what iced means, 4 cubes of ice and warm tea is what we got. when they bring our entrees, its a mess. the cook doesn't know how to make quesadilla. the manager made it right, but the server was MIA the whole night and it wasn't that busy. tonight makes strike 3 for chilis i will never return. read more

Just came out of the movies and my S.O. Decided we should try Chili's which was just across the street. Hadn't been there in some time. Ordered the DIY Fahitas, chicken wings and a salad. Wings were okay, Salad was barely passable and the Fahitas were just awful. The Fahita pancakes were so old and dried out, They fell apart on your plate. The ingredients needed a major overhaul to be even apatizing. I remember when Chili's had the best Fahitas in town, but forget about those days. Those days are long gone. It seems people go to Chili's because they have a bar, but if you are going there to eat, find another restaurant. Folks forget about this place. Their money is spent on advertising not on the food. I guess if you want a drink this place is okay, but if you want good food, try another place. The service was very good as was the fruity drink of the day, which was also very good. Like so many places, the food has gone downhill and the drinks were fair, though expensive. I would have given this place one star, except for my drink which was delicious. read more

I went to Chili's on my birthday on 3/4/11. We had a good time our waitress was good, the food was good but the kitchen was soooo backed up. The waitstaff was very apologetic and accommodating offering free chips/salsa while waiting for dinner and even offered free desserts. Many places don't off things like that to accommodate their guests when there is a problem and we really appreciated it. We will keep coming back :-) read more

Went here with a friend for appetizers and a drink on a Tuesday night. Waited 40 minutes for a table while there were 4-5 empty tables? 10-15 mins after we were seated I asked politely if someone could take our order. I was told "Could you give us a minute" then the fun began... We received our entire order at one time and it was obviously an ordered that had been sitting in the back or rejected. We never got silverware, water, or the offer of coffee and had to asked for our check. We were intentionally ignored while they served people on either side of us. So Danielle and Spencer and there mousey manager may want to think about a new profession, since they are not qualified to serve customers. The experience was awful! read more

We recently dined @ Chili's and were very impressed with the manager and waitress! Our order of ribs arrived cold. Our waitress was informed and she quickly returned our meals to the kitchen. While we were waiting , the manager came to our table, offered his apologies and offered us soup/salad/appetizer on him while we were waiting. He personally returned with our meals! They were hot and delicious. He remained until we tasted the ribs and found they were to our liking. The attitude of the management and staff @ Chili's is to be commended on their prompt and courteous response! read more
