I was able to visit Chilis for a business meeting, we were sat quickly and our server greeted us promptly! She informed us the the way to order, what looked like an ATM machine and suggested that that was the way we needed to pay unless we were paying cash. So my thinking is, if the server is there to serve food and not to provide any service, other than refilling our drinks, then do I tip the machine? Additionally I noticed when I paid through this ATM type also suggested the tip amount, it arbitrarily landed on 20%. REALLY?? So we say "GOODBYE" to Chilis, I can go to any Fast Food restaurant and get the same food and service there and not expected to pay a 20% tip! read more

I am a Chili's fanatic! However, today I had my first unpleasant experience. Please add on the "your table is ready" message that you must be there within 10 minutes or you will lose your spot and wait time will start all over. I was only 2 minutes late and lost my spot and after waiting 30 minutes I was told I would have to wait another 30 minutes. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told the supervisor would say the same thing and didn't give me the opportunity to speak to a supervisor. read more

So we went to this location tonight 6-24-21, 8ish... there were seats at the bartop so we decided to eat there; the counter clearly had not been cleaned, so we waited for the bartender to clean the spaces in front of us and he progressed passed us acknowledged the couple who sat down 3-5 minutes after us; the bartender then goes to the couple who sat down after us and asked them what they would like... the lady who he was speaking to said "oh... I think they were here before us" I turned to her and said "thank you so much, I really appreciate you acknowledging us" the bartender looking shocked that his own kind called him out on his crap... comes back over, takes our drink order, then takes their drink order... pours 3 beers, he makes my margarita that tasted like a Capri Sun, with Grand Marnier floated on top... he then gives us one beer, gave two beers to the other couple... then proceeds to take their food order.... Realizing his microaggression, we literally left the drinks sitting there, got up and left... this dudes vibes stunk like a skunk!! Save yourself a trip! read more

So friday night I ate at chili's, and my server was amazing! He was very nice, and attentive even though it seemed as though he was super busy. However, when it came to check out, he let me know that I could use the ziosk if I was using card. So I stick my card in, and select the tip. The ziosk said "processing" for the longest time, and finally an error message popped up, so I took my card out and it showed me my balance again. I checked my debt card transactions, and I had been charged. While trying to flag down a server, a manager came over and asked if everything was okay. I let her know that there was an issue and that I had been charged already, but the ziosk said otherwise. She went to check the balance, which it said I still needed to pay my bill, but I had even showed her that I was charged. Another manager came over to tell me that I had a balance, and even though I said I had already been charged, I had to swipe my card again because on their side there was still a balance. He said I wouldn't be charged twice and did give me his card to call if there were issues. It took me five days to get my money back. And no one apologized for the inconvenience or offered to compensate me in anyway. Regardless of the amount, being charged twice is inconvenient for anyone. And it was frustrating that no one even apologized for their machine malfunction. I had to call my bank to finally get my money back. read more

My sister and I went to chili's after placing flowers on our parents grave . Needless to say we were both very depressed and sad . Our waitress was super friendly and talkative. She made us feel very welcomed . During our meal she asked us what brought us in today for lunch and we explained our situation to her . Next thing we knew was that she was bringing out a dessert ( which we hadn't ordered) and told us it was a special treat to make us feel better ! She went way beyond her duties to try and make us feel a little bit happier in such a very sad day . She made us laugh, smile and of course cry with her wonderful and caring gesture . Wow, is it me or has Chili's changed? I took my family here for a quick meal and after I checked in.. on four square and Yelp! I was greeted with a coupon for free nacho's and Salsa! BINGO! what is a better way to start a visit than with free food? So I had the fajita combo (steak, chicken and shrimp) and it was really good. I mean really, how hard is it to mess up fajitas right? It was the next thing that really blew me away,,, D E S S E R T!!!!!!! Yeah I had this melted gooey chocolate chip cookie and ice cream thing that made me sing! WOOHO! so good I had to put the beat down on my five year old daughter to keep her from eating it all! Went to the local chili's by my friends house. Actually was very disappointed with the service as Chili's usually employees very happy, friendly and outgoing people. Their was no hostess to greet us so we went to the bar area and took a seat. Then the bartender was slow as molasses to greet us. When she did she still didn't take out drink order. Their 3 for $10 special is a great value. Since their main entrees are almost $10 separately! But sometimes most or all of the food is served at the same time. So unless you eat the hot items first, they will be cold after eating the cold appetizer items. Pretty much like every commercialized restaurant experience with an easy electronic pay system. The food was good, not great. The specialty drinks were SO sweet. It was like drinking syrup. The salmon plate was good, but a bit overcooked. I still enjoyed it with green beans. My nephew loves the chips and salsa here. The salsa isn't spicy, so it's good for a large group. The service was prompt, but each time I've gone there, I have had something extra on my bill that I didn't order. Keep an eye on that. read more

We ordered food from chili's delivery. The food was late and everything was cold. They got the side orders wrong too. The food tasted terrible. My chicken crispers were over cooked, dry and chewy but soggy. The fries were also soggy. I would never order GrubHub delivery from here again. A completely abysmal experience, waited over 45 minutes for appetizers. Rude, lethargic staff. Asked for manager, and instead of speaking with us, got an attitude and suddenly rushed food out. Location understaffed, long wait times for any assistance, and at times went 20+ minutes without seeing any staff. Watched as our drinks waited 10+ minutes on the bar after being made and servers did side-work in kitchen. Staff all looked unkempt, ungroomed, and unprepared. Host was unfriendly and slow to greet/table new customers. Asked for manager a second time and was ignored. Water never refilled despite sitting at table for almost an hour and a half. Poor service made even worse by the fact that restaurant was not busy, only about 10% of tables were seated, and few new customers were walking in the door. Little wonder considering the deplorable service. Food was good, but took so long to come out, we were almost late to our next engagement. It's ok food. We had chip and salsa. The chips are so thin! Would break easily when we dipped in guacamole. I asked for med rare steak but I got like med- well. My husband asked for medium but he got well done. He accepted his but I did not. I asked for replace with med rare please. But they ended give me over rare. I asked to cook little more. Very slow service. Food is standard Chili's fare, not bad but nothing special. I have never before had to wait almost half an hour for a chicken salad and a grilled cheese sandwich. How long does it take to cut up a chicken breast and throw it on some pre-cut lettuce? A grilled cheese should take about 3 minutes, not 30! The young man who was the host, Christian, was exceptional! He went out of his way to quickly clean and sanitize a table in an area we wanted to sit. He was friendly, courteous and welcoming. My husband and I noticed him opening doors for people, seating the guests, bringing things to the table that people would ask for (salt, napkins,etc), and bussing tables. I ordered online for our company Christmas party. The order was ready on time and we picked the meals up and brought them back to the office. When we sat down to eat, we noticed that the fajitas were cold and the beef was way over cooked. The corn tortillas were RAW and had not been grilled or warmed at all.
