Brandon's did not bring it. I had the breakfast burrito with carne asada and it was so bland, it was actually hard to eat. They gave me salsa and hot sauce, but that was basically all I tasted. Service's was the only good thing about this place. Our server was timely, accommodating, sweet and super friendly. The place was cute, clean, and easy to find. This is my second time at Brandon's diner. They greeted us upon arrival. Sat us quickly and our food came out pretty quick, however, it was a thursday morning. Last time I went on a saturday morning and we had about a 20 min wait. I ordered the Crunchy French Toast combo. Crunchy French toast was pleasantly crunchy & crispy served with berries and dollops of whip cream! The eggs and hash browns were pretty standard. My sister got a bowl of oatmeal which was the biggest bowl of oatmeal I have ever seen. The only thing is they didnt offer smaller sizes. Idk anyone who eats that much oatmeal in one sitting ( i could be wrong, everyone has there own opinions). I think they should offer multiple sizes since they dont offer a childrens menu. The New one on Magnolia is the Best. The servers are really friendly. The food is good and served hot. Fresh pot of coffee made even if for just one person. The menu could be changed, so it's not deceiving. I ordered a roast beef sandwich, and the menu shows it comes with mashed potatoes and gravy. On the side of the page, there's a section which says all sandwiches come with one of the items listed below, but doesn't list mashed potatoes and gravy as an option. I assumed, as would most people, the items listed are a complimentary side dish. Below the list, it stated fried zucchini could be substituted for one of these items for an additional dollar, so I elected to do so. When it came time for the bill, I was charged an extra nine dollars, instead of one, and when I asked about it, I was told the mashed potatoes ARE the side dish, and the section on the page didn't apply. Even when I said I felt deceived, and threatened to never return because of it, they still charged me the full amount. I have never felt so infuriated in a restaurant before, and I actually cussed out the staff as I left. read more

I ordered the Chile rellano with rice and beans and was pretty disappointed. The Chile inside was under cooked and I had to saw on it with a knife. The outer coating was soggy. The rice and beans sucked. They need to get some lessons on cooking IMO. The service was good but food was horrible read more

I love Brandon's diner I usually go to one off Indiana decided to try this location today . Bad idea . Went on my lunch break (1 hour) . My coworker and I were sat quickly however the waitress did not come to take our order after 15m so we decided to get the tacos to go . Placed our order went to get churros came back to pick up our order and they forgot it . No apology, we had to wait another 20 minutes for tacos and charged my coworker $1.03 for picodegallo . Not even an apology. We spent our whole hour lunch break to pick up tacos . The customer service was awful . We won't be going back . I'll stick to the Indiana location . read more

Nice spot to grab a bite to eat in the morning. When we got inside around 8:30am it was not too busy. It's a casual, sit where you want, kinda place - plenty of seating. The drink order was promptly taken and shortly thereafter the food order. I felt the time between ordering and the food being brought to the table was a bit long but maybe they were also filling to go orders? California Burrito- my friend enjoyed this meal, she ate it with the spicy salsa. The waitress was very kind to also bring out their other two salsas (red and green) for her to try. Huevos Rancheros - potatoes were perfection - love the crispy ends and the bits of small green pepper. Beans were bland but not bad, cheese helped! The actual eggs worth the green sauce was just meh. The eggs were more on the running side (asked for over medium) and the pork chunks were more white/gray than pink...they looked old and tasted old. Stopped in before a weekday meeting to get a bite, around 7ish AM. 1. Very inviting place, outside is remarkably presentable, inside is clean and comfortable, great oldies type music in the background. 2. Parking for pickup trucks is not a problem. 3. They are friendly to the point of playfulness. Like you are a regular. 4. Menu has good breakfast variety. 5. Food was plentiful and acceptable. I came in with a recommendation from a friend. I was expecting to have a good breakfast but I was sorely mistaken. They took 30 minutes to sit us with only one party ahead of us. We sat down and ordered and then it took an hour for the food to come out. Besides waiting for all that time the food came out cold and distasteful. There was no seasoning on any of the food, it all tasted like it was cooked it an old oil. The eggs, bacon and sausage were undercooked. I would recommend you stay far away from this place. Also the staff is incredibly unprofessional to the point they were arguing with eachother in the front. It isn't worth your time and definitely your hard earned money. read more

I have been eating at "Brandon's Diner" for many years now - off and on -in Riverside. This particular location on Magnolia opened about 1 year ago. It used to be further down the street in a strip mall. This newer restaurant is much nicer, cleaner and has easier access to parking. As always, the food is very good. I almost always ordered breakfast , but decided to try the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich. It was really good. They have many desserts, including a sizable portion of chocolate cake. I have only been here during the week (Monday through Friday), so I have not experienced long waits for service as have others that posted their reviews here. The staff was super nice, offered me coffee to go. A great place to go for breakfast as always. It has a small town feel to it. read more

The meal started off strong with their chips and salsa--super fresh and flavorful. For my entrée, I had the chicken fajitas. While they were cooked properly, I wish they had a bit more seasoning to really bring out the flavor. My wife had the enchiladas divorciadas, which were beautifully presented, but unfortunately, the filling was a bit cool. She probably should have sent it back, but since we were in a hurry, we didn't bother. On the positive side, my daughter had the carne asada burrito, and she said it was excellent. Service started off great with our younger male waiter being very attentive at first, but it slowed down significantly as our meal went on. By the end of our visit, I actually had to go up to the register to ask to pay. It was lunch time, and it wasn't that busy, so this felt a bit out of the ordinary. Despite the hiccups, I'm willing to give Morena's Mexican Cuisine another try, as it may have just been an off day. The chips and salsa, along with my daughter's burrito, showed that they definitely have what it takes to impress. I'll reserve final judgment after my next visit!

The menu has a great selection, portions are generous, and they offer a solid variety of drinks and craft beers. The highlight for me was definitely the flatas--thick, meaty, and perfectly crispy. Not many places in Riverside County even have them on the menu, let alone do them this well. Service was fast and friendly, and I really liked the mixed crowd--it gives the place a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Overall, it's a great casual spot whether you want to catch a game or just hang out.
