I went in on a Sunday afternoon everything seemed fine I have gone to this location before and it is awesome but the staff that helped me out yesturday was not good. Fisrt the waiter that was helping my family and I, wasn't attentive at all she got our drinks pretty quick but to actually take our order took more than 30 minutes and when the order finally came it was wrong. My mom order fajitas and first they gave them to the wrong table then proceeded to bring the same 0late of fajitas to my mom as her plate. My order was wrong and i told them asoon as i got it that i order my burger with no onion and no tomato so the took it to the back and the simply took it off which i was okay with but half way through my burger I bite into a big purple onion. The restaurant wasn't even busy and it took forever to receive our food. Chili's is not on our radar, but we had received a gift card. The parking lot and restaurant were pretty crowded (Thursday, 5:40 PM) so I took that as a good sign. The hostess said 10-15 minute wait which seemed curious since there were several open booths that were clean. (Staffing problem?) We were seated in about 10 minutes in one of the open booths I had seen. We both ordered the BBQ platter. The ribs were a bit dry and the chicken was salty. The corn on the cob was covered in spice and butter, the toast was OK. My wife said her strawberry lemonade was very sweet. For our taste, most items were over spiced; garlic seemed predominant. The French fries were good. The server was friendly but just provided basic service. He always seemed rushed and was never around otherwise. (Staffing?) The self pay unit on the table worked well. The tip amount is adjustable and defaults at an optimistic 20%. (I enjoyed the humor.) I left 15%, which I felt was still generous. The other 5% I gave to myself since I handled the payment. I rated this chili's location a five star because of the service. The service we've received the past several times were been here from our server (Liz) is beyond amazing! She is great! She's very friendly and welcoming and very attentive, each time we've came lucky we were seated in her section! Thank you Liz for having Thee Best Customer Service we've experienced at Chili's! This is the Worst visit to Chili's we have had ever! We come here A LOT and don't think we will be coming back to this one. First we were sat right away it was slow our waitress Holiday was her name was no where to be found! 10 minutes later she came by and said someone else would help us with our drinks then proceeded to throw a fit to her manager regarding another table in the middle of the restaurant! After another 20 min of her calming down but still complaining to all the other waitresses we got our food! Not one time did she ask how we were doing did we need refills or boxes. This was our first time at this location, we normally go to the one off of Fredrick. At first I was ready to turn right out. The host walked away when we walked in and no one was waiting... By the time he returned there were 8 parties waiting to be seated. All he had to say was "wow there are a lot of people up here". But our server was awesome. Her name was DJ, such a sweet girl. What a disappointing experience. Went for dinner with my family and they were about 70% capacity but we were seated right away. Place our drink order and they arrived quite quick. Then ordered an appetizer and it came fairly quick. Then, about 25 minutes after finishing the appetizer I asked the busboy for the manager because our wait staff was no where to be found. The busboy returned and said she will be with you shortly. 16 minutes later 1 kids meal and 1 adult meal arrived, 7 minutes later the other kids meal and adult meal arrived. I should have known better than to eat Mexican food at Chili's. I have always been reasonably pleased with the food at Chili's but this was the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten! I started with guacamole and chips. The guacamole was meh. The chips were terrible. Thin, tasteless, and they broke whenever I tried to get some guacamole on them. My entree was a trio of Mexican food. A tostada, a taco, and an enchilada. The tostada was cold and the other two inedible. Then to pay the bill. Chili's has this gadget on each table that is supposed to make paying easier. Trust me, it doesn't. My server had to almost hit it with a hammer to get it to work. Nice restaurant in a good area. Parking is limited, but other parking is available a short distance away. Happy hour appetizers are great and reasonably priced. Service is usually very good. It can get get a little loud at times and there is no Wi-Fi available. With the proliferation of smart phones, I would think Chili's management would want to cater to that crowd. The longer we sit in your restaurant, the more we eat and drink. If we can check our e-mail or work on a project, we are likely to stick around a little longer and spend a little more. *This review covers our last three visits for the past 6 months. Everyone we encountered during our visit was friendly and kind. The burgers were great and cooked to order. The salsa and warm Tortilla chips are fantastic! The smothered burrito was delicious and hot upon arrival. The carnitas tacos were flavorful and the meat was tender. We can't get enough of the mango iced tea. Each visit we ordered the chilli con queso. Only once was it edible. The 2nd time, the consistency turned grainy after sitting on our table for less than 5 minutes. The 3rd time, it was so salty we barely touched it. This is the only reason for not giving 5 starts. While waiting to order a waitress decided to carry an excessive amount of dishes in one load. Because of that she couldn't see around her. A little girl playing on the floor tripped the waitress causing all the dishes to scatter and splatter all over the floor, bar, in my girlfriend, on me, accross the bar, and down the path. When I got upset the father of the kid thought I was drinking, lol, started yelling, this went on for s ehike. Finally they cleaned up, served us. I had to go to the car and change. The fajita plate was really good . The crispy chicken strips are super nasty tho. The chicken is chewy and the crispy chicken just needed to be cooked a tad bit more. Overall it was amazing service and our server was amazing and super considerate with checking on us constantly. I would definitely come back .
