Where to start so we arrived and there was a waiting list so we gave them our phone number and they said it would be 20 to 30 minute wait so we of course were like okay we'll wait we'll go sit in our car. we sat in our car for 40 minutes without getting a text message turns out they had the wrong phone number. It was too young boys and they were hearing us through our masks so misunderstandable greeted by a nice waitress. We go to order our drinks and find out that their soda machine is down. Keep in mind this was at 2:00 at noon on a Sunday. And so their soda machine is down along with their lemonade so all they have is tea and water and coffee. Service was good except for that and the food was delicious. I had just a bacon burger with fries and a salad with shrimp It was what my friend had. We ordered fried pickles for appetizer and our waitress was very good at making sure we had everything. Overall I'd give it a three stars because we waited an extra 10 minutes It definitely left from for improvement. read more

We were making a grocery run from Massanutten and decided to grab dinner while we were at it. Were seated quickly and our server was there promptly. We started with the fried pickles which were delicious! My wife had quesadillas and I had a 10 oz sirloin. The food came out quickly and everything was fine with one exception. I had ordered my steak medium and it came out well done. I mentioned it to our server who immediately offered to take it back. I was hungry so I declined. The steak tasted good, just over done. I would have given them 5 stars if not for the steak, but the manager did comp half the cost of the entree. read more

I just wanted to thank Mariah for taking excellent care of us on our visit. We are from New Jersey so we wanted so desperately to go eat at a restaurant. Chilis informed us it would be a slight wait due to only having two tables outside. We were more than willing to wait! Upon arrival, and throughout the entire experience, Mariah took amazing care of us. She recommended dishes, asked us how we liked our drinks, appetizers, and entrees- all within a very timely matter. She was sincere and friendly. I loved that she had a warming heart- it is hard to come across servers that only want to get in and get out without being personable. She surpassed all attributes of an outstanding. server/bartender. Your team should be honored to have Mariah as a worker. She is definitely an asset I would love to work with. Last week we were at a Chilis in Florida. We've been there quite a few times and like it. Today we were in Harrisonburg for the night and decided to go to Chilis because we had a gift card we wanted to use. We always get the Texas fries but these were great. They had more bacon, more cheese, Chile peppers and more dip. We had quesadillas and they were really good but haven't had them at Chilis before so can't compare them. We also shared the warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream - and it was more too. More cookie and way more ice cream. Awesome! read more

Me and my friends went and got apps at this haunted Chili's and they were delicious. Nobody would tell us exactly where in the restaurant the Harrisonburg police shot and killed (aka murdered) a man just a couple weeks ago, but I think that says wonders about the ethical compass of the employees. I normally love Chili's as a fun spot to get cheap and consistent appetizers and drinks in Harrisonburg as a college student. Our waitress was incredibly nice and helpful and the appetizers were adequate. However, we ordered drinks for the table and received *half-full* glasses of drinks. It looked as if someone had taken sips of our drinks before they were even delivered to the table. Our waitress apologized for them as she delivered them and a few minutes later I complained to her for the bartender filling them only halfway. She was super polite and told us she would get the manager. Upon speaking to the manager, he was so incredibly rude to us it was offensive. We felt totally disrespected by him after I politely told him we didn't feel it was appropriate to give us half full glasses. He asked me "so what should I do about it?" And blatantly told me he "didn't care." He was so rude it completely turned us off to this chili's location and I will never come here again. I feel for the waiters and waitresses who have to work under this man's discretion and inappropriate behavior. read more

Barffffff. Everytime we go here I am disappointed. I ordered steak medium well last time I was there, sent it back 3 times because it was basically purple it was so underdone. The MANAGER comes over to the table "apologizes" for the undercooked meat then asks if I want to box it up and maybe cook it at home to my liking. I'm not a picky person or a food snob but med well and med rare are completely different temperatures. This place sucks every single time I've been. I have ordered from this chili's in the past and haven't had an issue, however this was not the case the most recent time. After canceling an online order and speaking with the manager, the manager vowed to me twice that he would cancel my order and cancel my payment. The manger did not follow through on this and also did not refund my rewards in the order. The manager was unaccommodating and rude. I never received any food and was still charged $40 which has not been refunded. Very poor service. read more

While in town we noticed a high rating for this Chili's and thought we'd give it a try. It's not our usual fare. The Chili's itself was the same as any, except quicker. The outstanding part of this experience was the service. I've never had service at a Chili's this great. I ordered the chips and salsa and it came out quick. I ordered the endless enchiladas, green chili chicken, and they came out quickly and hot. Our server, Brendan, was there when needed, but in no way intrusive. He was on his game. There with refills of salsa, drinks, and when time came another order of enchiladas. Chili's, please take note, if you want great service use this sever as a trainer for new hires. Upon arriving into Harrisonburg, we decided to try Chili's for lunch. Nachos appetizer with beef and guacamole was great. The honey Chipotle crispers were ok. I think they needed a bit more breading or additional frying time as it was a bit soft. My husband had the cheese bits that were good and the Margherita Flatbread which was good. The most horrible service I have ever had. Went with a friend and my two kids. We were seated and It took about 15 min for anyone to even make eye contact and notice we were even there. It was not busy and waiters kept passing us and not saying anything. After waiting 15 mins we were asked if we had been helped and our order was taken. As we sat there and ate there were another two set of people that came and they were assisted right away. The food was alright. The waiter that helped us was nice . It shouldn't have taken that long to even be spoken to. Won't be coming here again read more

Only one complaint about this restaurant. My wife and I got a gift card to Chilis so we stopped at this location for dinner. It was very good and our server was great. We left content and full. The only thing is that the restaurant was not very busy, but we had to wait for a few minutes to be greeted and sat by a hostess. Overall it was a good experience. read more

I personally love this chain and the food that they offer. Me and my boyfriend always get the 2 for $20 because it has a lot of different options to chose from and you get an appetizer with it. They usually keep it towards the back of the menu. Whenever we go, lunch or dinner/day or night, it is always dead with no wait. I am not sure why it is dead because the food and service is always consistently wonderful. I go here at least once a month. The chips and salsa are to die for! This football season they are giving away jerseys on Monday nights at half time as well. read more

I have enjoyed going to Chili's regularly, but not lately. I went tonight (and this has been going on for a few weeks now and I've had it) around 9:00 PM for a late meal and to watch a little football. I was within earshot of the bar (with my wife and a family sitting next to us). One of the female employees, whom I assume was now off-duty, was at the bar with her boyfriend and another male friend. From the other male friend came a steady series of "fucking" ... this .... that. I got through my meal but didn't bother to finish my coffee. Had to leave, I had enough. In a high state of agitation, because I do not understand why young people think that language is so cool, I will complain to Chili's tomorrow. Didn't feel like raising an issue tonight. It seems to have become a thing lately, though, off-duty servers gathering with friends and whooping it up, foul language included, like they own the place and damn me anyway. I'll find someplace else, i.e. Applebees down the street. I wish bartenders and managers would police the language in a proactive manner. read more

I'm very impressed with the management here. I had left my bag there and I live 2 hours away, but the manager personally sent me my bag! Not only was everything in my bag just like I left it, but the food was great! It came on time and everyone on my team was happy! I would definitely recommend going to this Chili's again! read more
