Average bar food. Service was super attentive though. We kept getting asked if we needed anything on a 3person rotation. Lol. It was just an okay, quick meal.
Normally I don't eat out much during the week and usually save dining out for the weekends, but after an exhausting day, this spot really hit the mark. We came in a little after 6 PM while the happy hour crowd was wrapping up, so the restaurant was definitely busy. Even with the crowd, our party was seated quickly in a booth, and our waiter promptly came over to get our drink orders started. I was craving a really good burger, so I decided to go with the "Old Timer," which comes with a quarter-pound beef patty topped with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and red onions, served alongside fries. I ordered my burger medium well, and this particular franchise definitely knows how to cook to temperature because it came out perfectly done exactly the way I requested. I must've influenced the table because two others in my party ended up ordering the same burger while another person chose the chicken crispers as part of the 3 for Me deal. The deal itself still offers pretty good value, even though the appetizer options used to be a little better in the past. You can choose between chips and salsa, a cup of soup, or a salad. I went with the chicken tortilla soup (which was good in flavor but a tad on the salty side) along with a strawberry lemonade. I normally don't drink my calories, but whenever I come here, the strawberry lemonade is my go-to. When the food arrived, everything tasted fresh to order. The burger was juicy and cooked perfectly, the fries were hot and crispy with a generous serving size, and the strawberry lemonade was refreshing and delicious. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the service. Our waiter -- a tall African-American gentleman whose name I unfortunately can't remember -- was excellent the entire evening. He stayed attentive throughout our meal and seemed to appear right on cue anytime one of our drinks got low. If I remembered his name, I would absolutely mention him because he truly deserves recognition for his attentiveness and professionalism. Overall, this was a really great dining experience, especially after such a long day. Between the fresh food, solid service, and comfortable atmosphere, I'll definitely be coming back again.
The service here was top notch. Our server came by many times to check up on us and make sure we were doing okay. The mozzarella sticks are overrated. But the 3 for me deal gives you the best bang for your buck since it comes with so many chips and salsa (if that's what you want).
Stopped by to finally try the Triple Dipper I've been seeing everywhere on social media. I'm not sure if the hype online are honest reviews or if I went on an "off day" because everything we ordered was so salty! The Nashville hot mozzarella sticks in particular were hardly edible. The wings, and tenders were also not good. Based on all the food, would not come back. The only good thing was our server. Service was friendly and got seated quickly on a weekday.
THREE FOR ME (4 stars) ... none for you. What a bang for your buck! - FOOD: Pretty decent! - PRICE: very affordable - SERVICE: great - AMBIANCE: nothing special On a real note, I haven't been to Chili's since my college days (and that was a hot minute ago). Not much has change with the atmosphere, big drinks for cheap price, and good basic fried finger foods. :: ORDER :: THREE FOR ME - pick a beverage, starter, and main. This was an overwhelming meal for a small someone and could easily be shared with another or packed the rest to-go. I don't know how to put it but to say it was, a lot. BIG SMASH BURGER ($10.99) - thousand island, American cheese, diced red onion, pickles, and lettuce - YES comes with fries. This was the cheapest of the "Three for Me" menu item. Ordered this with strawberry lemonade and chips and salsa. There were a variety of drinks and sides to choose from - choose wisely. The burger was a classic burger and not so much of a smash patty burger. The flavor reminded me of a fresher and tastier Big Mac. The bun was on the softer side, the patty had good seasoning, and every bite was satisfying. The fries were good, not too salty nor bland and had a fair crispiness to them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHIPS AND SALSA - I love me some good chip and salsa and this was surprisingly good. The chips were the very thin tortilla chips (exactly how I like them). No broken pieces. Little on the salty side but that can be covered when dipped into the salsa. The salsa was mild - average but why do I find myself like it more than many other salsa's I've tried at other restaurants?! HIGHLY RECOMMEND :: SERVER :: The staff here are so welcoming and nice. Food came out timely. They showed the perfect amount of attentiveness. I liked how they all seem to have fun working with each other. I tipped well because they did a good job! This Chili's deserves a much higher rating!! When going to a chain restaurant, you never know if the one you go to will be clean and well equipped, and this one is truly a gem. It's always incredibly clean -- including the bathrooms. The servers are amazing (very attentive and helpful, going the extra mile like packing up fresh hot chips for you to take or bringing out a new plate if yours had an error -- even one you didn't notice!) and the food is always delicious. (If you're wondering about that "error": my wife ordered surf and turf but only got the steak. We didn't even notice and were happy with the food, but they noticed and instead of just bringing out the "surf" part to complete the plate, they brought a whole new plate and let us have both.) My wife and I go here almost every week as our little local hangout spot. There are always a variety of games playing on the TV and it's a great vibe to relax, eat chips and salsa, drink a $6 margarita, and read my book or play trivia on their little consoles. The margarita of the month is usually very tasty, but even if it's not your thing, they have lots of other cocktails. My favorite food items are the dip trio with salsa and queso, the brisket quesadilla, and the triple dipper when I'm feeling like it with mozzarella sticks, honey chipotle crispers, and big mouth bites or southwestern eggrolls. Whoever is managing this place is doing an incredible job and I hope they never stop!
Chilis near SDSU is a good spot for quick food with your friends or family. Pros: the location being very close to Sdsu makes it a prime spot for quick late night bites or early afternoon food. I've come here a few times and I've gotten seated pretty quickly. I ordered the three for me deal for $11.99. This is a great deal. I unfortunately did not take a picture, but I ordered the burger and it came with fries, soup or salad, and a fountain drink. The people I was with order chips and salsa and Nashville mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were very good as always. The chips and salsa were decent. You could pay for your food with their kiosk tablet thing on the table but if you need help, you can always call a server and they'll be happy to split the bill however you want or to help if the technology doesn't work. Cons: the service here is a hit or miss you can get a really good server that is very fast and helpful, or you get another server who doesn't really tend to your table as often. There are bathrooms inside, but it is quite small and not as clean. The floors are a bit oily and felt like a floor from a Korean barbecue spot. Verdict: Chili's is a good spot for certain occasions I wouldn't expect too much good stuff in service or overall quality you get what you pay for and it's good quick cheap food, which is good for a college student being nearby campus
BB and I have been talking about going back to Chilis for what seems like years. The last time I went to Chilis was over 20 years ago, for reference. She wanted to go to the Mission Valley one, assuming it was nicer than the one on Sports Arena Blvd. In an ironic twist of events, right before we turned into the parking lot, we saw a panhandler who was literally bent over 90 degrees (the fentanyl fold), and upon parking and walking toward the restaurant, an enthusiastic tweeker started yelling "papasan, sifu, sensei!" to me, which I have to admit was hilarious. Entertainment, top notch. Ambience, maybe not so much. We were greeted warmly upon entering and seated promptly. We ordered drinks and then we ordered what seemed to be all the hype, the triple dipper appetizer combo (viral cheese pull) along with a smokehouse combo to share between us. The waitress was very pleasant and provided great service when she was at our tableside, but I wish she would have came by just once more to offer refills instead of us having to flag her down. The food was all just ok. The cheese stick which produces the infamous cheese pull taste like a typical frozen product thrown into a deep fryer, the southwest egg rolls were similarly average. The baby back ribs were more tender than we thought but just average as well. The best parts of the meal were suprisingly the brisket quesadillas (one of the choices from the smokehouse combo), which I would not hesitate to order again. I guess if you ordered the 10.99 burger with side and drink (as well as skimped on the tip), this would be somewhat economical, but after paying around 65 for the both of us after tax and tip, we felt that the hype was not only overrated, but overpriced as well. Not a bad place by any means, but probably won't be adding this to our rotation.
First time at this location and it was for takeout. Cashiers and waiters were really friendly and helpful. Food did not take long to come out. Loved how they had a takeout side strictly for that it made the service quicker and efficient. Ordered the usual triple dipper and old timer smash burger on the 3 for me deal. Opted in fries and chips and dip. Their chips are light and crispy. They added too much salt though as some parts were salty. They literally give you half a whole bag of chips; it's a lot!
First time coming to Chili's! We walked in and it was SUPER busy. We thought we were going to have to wait a long time and we were okay with it but surprisingly we got seated really fast, which was fantastic because we were hungry! I came with my friend and she wanted to try the triple dipper and I wanted mozzarella cheese stick (yes I wanted to see if it would do the cheese put when you bit into it but it didn't LOL) but the flavor of it was good. The rest of her triple dipper she liked and she liked the flavor she chose. I got the Ancho salmon. It was good. Our waitress was wonderful! She came and checked on us several times and asked us if we needed anything and she took our order right away. She was the best! The inside was big. Plenty of seating and lots of TV's so you can watch different sport games at the same time.
Our home base Chili's. Consistently decent. Can't go wrong with the 3 for Me. Hubby always gets the fajitas. At our most recent visit, he got the steak and shrimp fajitas. The meats were well done but surprisingly soft. I would say it can be hit or miss in terms of tenderness. The burgers have been consistently good. Service can be hit or miss as well. Semi-fast, casual restsurant with reasonable prices.
The $10.99 "3 for me" deal is actually such a fantastic value and that's why it gets 4 stars from me! The burgers are super greasy which is one downside, but the fries are crisp and delicious, portions are HUGE, and the side of chips/salad were nice as well. I've heard that Chili's has recovered its reputation in the past few years and is on an upward trend in popularity, and with deals like this I can see why! Fun/casual spot, good service, huge portions, good value. I admittedly had a pretty low opinion of Chili's in the past but I've been corrected.
CHILI'S @ Camino Del Rio N If you haven't tried the Mozzarella sticks here, you have to get in your car and GO! My boyfriend and I came here on a Tuesday night, it was quite busy and a lot of people. We got seated fairly quickly, and the waiter was SO KIND to us! We ordered the 12 count, half normal and half Nashville Hot. It came out super quick and it was delicious! The ambiance is clean and any average american restaurant. I really enjoyed the place itself and the location. Parking was free and is right outside the place, shared in a complex. Highly recommend!
I've been coming here for years and it's one of my favorite restaurants to eat at with family or friends. Their 3 for me deal is AMAZING and is such a steal; it comes with a drink, appetizer, and full sized entree. Delicious food and big portions for a great price, what's not to love! As a Chili's rewards member, we also get free chips and salsa which is great and a huge portion as well. Some of my favorite dishes are the bacon ranch quesadillas and Cajun chicken pasta. Been coming here for YEARS for the 3 for me deal (previously 3 for $10), and service and value have always been great each time! Where else can you get a soft drink, soup/salad, AND a full sized entree all for less than $17?!? Plus the complimentary chips and salsa is delicious! I will always keep coming back. The menu has lots of different options, I Order the just bacon burger with fries. They don't have onion rings. The restaurant has a bar inside and we sat there to watch a football game. They have high top tables and booths. The waitress was friendly and helpful with the menu options. Our food was delivered and it looks delicious. The burger was a little disappointing the meat was very juicy but it didn't have much flavor. The fries were the highlight. The restaurant was busy and clean . The restroom had a few paper towels on the counter and the sink. It was was clean overall. read more
This is only my 2nd time coming to Chili's but I was influenced from TT to get the triple dipper. I got the mozzarella sticks, honey chipotle chicken crispers and sliders! They were all very good! The mozzarella sticks are my favorite. Cheese pull 10000% satisfied! If you sign up for their rewards, you can get free chips and salsa. I also came between 3-6pm which is their happy hour. Happy hour only applies at the tables around the bar area. I got the triple trifecta cocktail! Overall, I'm looking forward to coming here again because they have really good and affordable deals! Can't beat the price compared to fast food restaurants these days! read more

Chili's was clearly the place to be on a Friday night--it was busy, but service was surprisingly quick and efficient. It had that classic Chili's energy with all the TVs around, it's a great spot to catch a game (we caught a baseball game). I finally tried the Triple Dipper and became obsessed with the Honey Chipotle flavor. Pro tip: if you're at Chili's, you have to get a margarita--it's basically a must. I order mine blended. I'd definitely come back to eat the Fried Mozzarella again. Even though I didn't get the epic cheese pull like I've seen on TikTok, they were still super tasty. read more

The food was great as always. The crispers were juice and flavorful. The Texas cheese fries were top notch and didn't disappoint. The mango lemonade was a little more on the lemon side so the mix probably just needed a little tweaking. Our server Kaitlyn was great. She interacted with us in a way that showed she valued us a customers. She was helpful with the drink issue and graciously replaced it without problem. I love that there are TVs around the restaurant at multiple locations so you can watch games pretty well no matter where you sit. read more
I came here on my lunch break and was pleasantly surprised by how cheap their lunch menu is. For $15 you get a drink, meal, and chips and salsa. I ordered the Chipotle Fresh Mex Bowl. It comes with grilled chicken, pico de gallo, shredded lettuce, Mexican rice, corn salsa, guacamole, shredded cheese, tortilla strips, cilantro, drizzled with chipotle pesto, and house-made ranch. The restaurant was clean, our server was nice and attentive, and I enjoyed my lunch. read more

Chili's is underrated. I'm happy to see that this chain restaurant survived the pandemic and is thriving. It's always busy when we drive by. Great for sport fans, after work professionals and even family budget friendly. Decided to come for happy hour. There's plenty of parking in this plaza which is a plus. They have a few cool specials: -When football is on, happy hour is honored. -$10 lunch specials where you pick 3 items -margaritas of the month are only $6 -bottomless chips and salsa -Happy hour wings daily with Sat and Sun all day We got: -bottomless chips and salsa: It's for a fee but the chips are so thin, light and crispy! Chips are addicting but the salsa tastes like Pace. -8 piece wings: We got Buffalo flavor. I thought they were large and lightly breaded with great flavor. My fiancé had Hooter's the day before and he disagrees with me. -Triple dipper: We picked southwestern egg rolls which is always a must, big mouth bites which are sliders, and Nashville hot chicken crispers which are tenders. Also got the Spice-a-Rita. Everything came out to $40. Not bad for two people with left overs. 3.5 rounding to 4. We will be back for the chili and other items during happy hour. read more

Well I am highly impressed, our dinner was delicious hot when served and we got it quickly. Our waitress was very attentive & we always had our drinks refilled never had to ask for one. Plus you can't beat the 3 for 10 deals, great price for a family of four. My only complaint would be the bathrooms need more attention for cleaning. read more

I've been to chilis many many times but I did stop going due to their customer service so I thought since it's been awhile maybe it's different now. Went with my girls for happy hour, the drinks were actually really good..not strong but good...could get stronger but then again it is happy hour, our server was very polite and fast though she got my girlfriends drink but it did the job so we didn't really saying anything. Food is ok...chicken tenders were a bit dry... the nacho cheese well for one it's just all cheese, I would suggest not to get the nachos but the burgers were fire! And I can't forget the lava cake!! That is what I really came for was for dessert. Interior is still the same nothing really special. But hey this place is good for big families..def order the burgers or pizzas. read more

I hadn't eaten at a Chili's in over 10 years, but the facebook ad got me! For a what is probably for just a limited time, Chili's has done the unbelievable during the Age of Inflation...for $11 you can get a hearty burger and fries, soup and salad, and soft drink. How is than even possible?!?!?!?!?! So I actually paid $16.50 because for $3 I wanted the Bacon Cheeseburger, the bacon is so good and it was worth it! I also paid an extra $2.50 for a Bud Light instead of the soda cause Bud Light was so daring in having a transgender endorsement and lost millions, maybe billions, because of it. I opted for the Baked Potato Soup appetizer...which was quite large, thick, and filling considering the price. I expected a little itty bitty cup, but got decent sized bowl. The bacon cheeseburger was FANTASTIC! I think this special deal was going to be a smaller burger, but the thing was huge, juicy, meaty, and moist with nice crispy bacon. The fries were a perfect complement too. This national chain restaurant has a clean, fun, festive atmosphere, and our waitress was very friendly despite our very low tabs. I'll be back! read more

Ok....so we come to Chili's approximately 3 times a month. There is absolutely something for EVERYONE on the menu, generous portions, FREE CHIPS AND SALSA EVERY TIME with their rewards program and fun, friendly service. This has been our go to spot for YEARS! Deserves all the credit! Best burgers, tasty fries, fun cocktails of the month and the triple dipper NEVER disappoints! read more

Nice location. Stopped by after work to catch Happy Hour. Service was really good and fast.. probably because we sat at the bar. Bartender was super chill and helped us pick out things to try on the menu. Our drinks were made well, and the food came out super fast every time we would order different things. Inside is clean and well kept. This location is less than .3 of a mile from my house so I will be returning. :) read more

We went for a late lunch/early dinner. We both got the 3 for me with the oldtimer burger with cheese and fries for our entres. For our starters we ordered a salad and chips and salsa, plus water and a sprite for our drinks. It's been a while since I've been to Chile's and I forgot how good their chips and saucer were and come out nice and hot.Thin crispy salt it to perfection.So we munch the nose for a while. Our burgers and fries came out pretty fast. They were nice and hot and talk about a juicy burger.... It was delicious. Oh my gosh, I'm addicted to their burgers now, they're so good. I don't know what kind of beef they use, but you can tell it's very fresh. I ordered mine without the bun and should have stopped eating it halfway through, but it was so good that I ate the whole thing and then just only ate a few fries (which I took home). Our server was in training and I wish I would have got her name because she did an excellent job. I had mentioned when we placed our order that we were gonna place an order to go and that came out pretty quickly after we paid our check. It was still nice and hot when we got home, he said his double burger was juicy and delicious and he tore it up. We would definitely be going back. All of our food only came out to $47. You can't beat that now and days. We will definitely be going to Chili's a lot more often. read more

Just so awful. Not even edible. Haven't been here in a bit and thought why not. What a waste of $. How do you mess up a quesadilla? It was so dry, it was like eating a cardboard. I mean I get it, I wasn't expecting much in the first place, but to be flat out this awful is ridiculous. Unacceptable! read more

I came into Chili's today and got absolutely great service. Tyler was my server. He was very attentive. It was my daughter's birthday. He made her feel so special and I am so happy about the staff that was provided at this location. Absolutely amazing the manager his name is Esteban. He checked on me. He made sure everything was going good. They just made me feel totally like Family. I will absolutely be at this location again and I will tell my family and friends about this location because I got such great service. read more

I think they do I haven't gone to the Chili's but I do order their food online it's quite very delicious tasty and the service is excellent you can even track your order
