Clean restaurant... longer than normal wait time for food. Food: I decided to hold off to visit this restaurant twice before reviewing. Food compared to previous years has not been consistent with quality. Taste seems that of previously frozen food. The table next to ours complained about cold food, and previous reviews seem to agree as well. The best thing on our latest visit was the chips and guacamole and dessert (molten lava cake). Drinks: Full service bar and drinks look appetizing in menu but usually always disappoint. Most of the 'ritas have excessive ice which makes the flavoring taste watery. Will definitely opt for beer next time. Service: Both our visits were during the week. The restaurant wasn't full, yet food took very long to come out. By the time our food was out, we had eaten most of our chips and salsa/guac. and felt super full to even try eat half of our plate. Servers were very nice on both our visits. Our rewards account wasn't working properly during our visit and they were more than helpful in the process. Absolutely should have looked at Yelp before even getting out of my car for this one. Well, first off, not a "Hi, Welcome to Chilies," but its going to be a 15-20 minutes. Wait before you respond, I understand what it means to be busy. Anyways, when you wait to get serviced for 15-20 minutes as you are getting looked over as your neighbors that came in AFTER you are serviced first then we know its time to go! Hey guys, I went here on a Monday night just for a chill relaxing meal. I ordered the chicken enchilada soup and as I was eating I pulled 3 hairs out of my mouth and when I went to take a chip and dip it in the salsa I found a long black hair in MY SALSA.. unacceptable. We then let them know what was happening and the manager came back to us, told up we are getting a free meal and said "you should tell us sooner" TERRIBLE customer service.. don't tell me to tell you sooner about hair IN MY FOOD it shouldn't have been there in the first place. me and my roommate ordered a curbside order, it said it'd be ready 3:55-4, we got there at 4 and checked in, after about 10 minutes i went ahead and called to check on it, after 5 mins on hold i was hung up on, after about another 10 minutes of waiting my roommate went in to see if she could talk to someone, she said there was about 5 employees sitting around talking and the phone was right next to them. they said it was being worked on now, after 30 minutes of waiting we finally got our food. very unacceptable. read more

I'm here now because I have to return an order because they messed up my salad and gave me a cup with a hole in the bottom so it spilled lemonade all over my car. I've been at the bar for 15 minutes trying to get someones attention. This is awful. It took 16 minutes for someone to acknowledge me at the bar: I drove 5 miles back here to return stuff. Not only was there a long black hair in my drink, but the service was very bad. When I alerted the woman standing in the front to the hair, she said nothing, just looked confused. It wasn't addressed after that. The servers were standing around in groups, chatting quite alot. This is after we were told to wait due to low staffing and overwork... So, since COVID hit Texas my girlfriend and I haven't gone out much because of obvious reasons. Another reason is money; we had a $25.00 gift card to Chili's and thought, hey, lets go for drinks. Our little man decided he didn't want to go to bed and couldn't sleep at 6pm, so we decided to take him with us and get dinner as well. The hostess was friendly, greeted us right away, and gave us extra information on the night's specials. In a couple of minutes we had ordered our drinks, picked the Bottomless Chips and Salsa, and were looking at the menu's. We got our water a bit early, but it took a while to get our actual drinks and our five year old's food. After we got his food, we ordered our own, and it took about 25 minutes for our food to get to us. The wait wasn't a problem, but what we received... * Chicken fingers and fries for the kids meal. The chicken fingers were Soggy and the breading slipped and ripped off of them but still left a bunch on the actual chicken. It was a 'no thanks' from the five year old. * 10oz steak with fries and loaded mashed potatoes. I had asked to cook my steak Medium Well, as Chili's in my experience isn't very accurate on cooking steaks. I was surprised to see that when I cut into it, it was Medium Well. The fries were fine, and the loaded mashed potatoes was okay, but the cheese wasn't melted on it. Later on through my meal, I had gotten to the other sides of the steak. One side was medium, which is about where I was looking to have my steak in the first place, but the other side was charred pretty bad on one side. It was Well Done. More than Well Done, it was crispy on the inside. The side that I had my fries on was in the juice of the butter also, and a bunch of those were soggy. The meal was underwhelming to say the least. * Chicken fajita's with grilled mushrooms and Mexican beans and rice. Everything was burned except the beans. The chicken was over cooked. The mushrooms were damn near charcoal and had a really smokey after taste, and the rice... the rice was the worst. My girlfriend insisted that I try the rice, and as I held the fork to my mouth and breathed in their aroma, I tasted them before they hit my mouth. They taste before, during, and after eating them was that of straight charcoal, but they looked normal. It was as if they had cooked the fajitas on the grill, my steak, then the mushrooms, and to have all their smoke wafting over and through all the rice. It really felt as though I was inhaling in front of a BBQ Grill with black smoke coming out of it. And I love charred food, but this was just way too much. So when the waiter came around to ask if everything was to our liking, my steak looked perfect at the time, and my girlfriend had only taken a spoonful of beans out of her meal. By the second round of drinks, they had asked us if we needed a to go plate, and we said no thank you. The waiter, awkwardly joked that we'd better eat all our food. SMH... To top it all off, they let the bottom less chips and salsa get to the bottom, and thus completes the sadness of this trip. We had three drinks between us that were $7.00 each, three meals that were pretty terrible, and half of which weren't edible. We had a $25.00 gift card and ended up having to pay $49.00 without tip. This is my first time at Chili's. I ordered the steak/shrimp fajitas. It was really good. Shrimp cooked just perfect. Steak was well seasoned and just a hint of pink. Just the way I like it. Went there tonight for dinner with my wife, mother-in-law and step-son. Complete disaster. Hallie, our server, was overly enthusiastic and insisted on taking our order from memory (this rarely, if ever, results in anything good). After informing her we were ketoing she recommended a chicken dish covered in BBQ sauce. I told her that BBQ sauce usually contains sugar and her reply was to tell me that all nutritional information was available on the table screens and proceeded to show me how the BBQ sauce was gluten free and vegan! I asked again if the BBQ sauce was sugar free and she then said she'd need to ask the cook. My wife ordered a burger without a bun on a bed of lettuce and broccoli instead of fries. I ordered the ribeye, done medium, with a double order of broccoli to substitute for the mashed potatoes. 45 minutes later our food arrived. My wife got a bare burger on a plate, no bed of lettuce, no broccoli and a box of French fries adorned with slices of brown avacado. My ribeye arrived, grey and dry, with tepid broccoli. My wife reminded Hallie of what she ordered and took the plate away. I cut into my dry steak to find if grey-brown all through the center and dry. When she returned with what my wife originally ordered, I informed her that my steak was WAY over cooked and the consistency of shoe leather. She then took my plate away and said she'd be back with a new steak. 15 minutes later she returned with a plate of broccoli and said the steak would be coming soon. Another 15 minutes and the manager, Brianna, shows up with my replacement steak which is cooked better, but is just a lousy cut of meat. My family is done eating and I'm just starting. By the time my steak arrived, my broccoli had gone cold and I needed to have that reheated. We had now been there about an hour and a half. I nibbled at the steak, are about half because I was starving, and asked for the check. Hallie told me that the manager was aware of the issues we were having. The check arrived with full price for EVERYTHING!! I asked for the manager. Brianna arrived and asked if there were any problems! I told her I came here to have dinner WITH my family not AFTER my family. That we deserved a quality of service and product like any other customer. I asked her how she would feel if this happened to her. I can't believe I had to ask that. She finally took off the price of the steak. This particular Chili's is off my list of places to eat. Ever. You may have better luck, at least I hope you do. I called the number posted by their customer engagement team. Spoke to a guy named Antoine. I explained, again, what happened. He told me I should expect a call from their operations person in a couple of days. That call never came. These folks are not interested in improving their level of service.
