I believe there are two Chili's in SCV -- this one is not the closest to our home, but we prefer it for the service and food prep. Sarah has been our server during the last couple visits and she's fantastic -- friendly and super-efficient. She checks on us often and refills drinks without asking. The team that works with her are just as great. Our food here is consistently prepared well. Today we started with a cup of Loaded Potato Soup and the Chips & Salsa. The husband really likes all the burgers and sandwiches. Today he chose the Spicy "Big Chicken" with fries. And although I can never finish it, I always have the Triple Dipper (Southwest Eggrolls, Honey-Chipotle Chicken Crispers and Boneless Buffalo Wings). It was all perfect. We've also ordered take-out. Stopped here on my way at home from La. Oscar was my server and was very kind and efficient. I took a star away due to the fact that the bowl of salsa was served in a dirty bowl. It's a Saturday night. There was a little bit of a wait but not too bad. They sat us at a booth in the bar. I ordered the 3 for me with bottomless chips and salsa, chicken sandwich and an ice water. My husband ordered a soup and salad combo with a blackberry Arnold Palmer. We also added a three-piece of sauced hot mozz. Everything was good. They had really good music playing. First time ever dining inside a Chili's restaurant, and it was an amazing experience! Highly recommend checking out this location if you're considering it. Food: I came in with low expectations and left pleasantly surprised by how fresh and flavorful everything was. Before going in, I signed up for the rewards program and was able to choose between a free queso dip or chips and salsa. I went with the queso. I also ordered the Triple Dipper, steak and shrimp fajitas, and a kids cheeseburger meal. Everything was extremely fresh and full of flavor, and I would definitely order all of it again. The steak and shrimp fajitas were our favorite. The steak was so tender and tasted like real, quality steak, not that artificial stuff some places serve. The Triple Dipper was also delicious and very filling. I definitely see why it's so popular. Overall, the food was excellent. Service & Atmosphere: The service was friendly, fast, and efficient. I also really appreciated being able to pay right at the table, which was super convenient. The restaurant itself was very clean, spacious, and had plenty of indoor seating. The only minor downside was parking; it was a bit crowded, and we ended up parking on the other side of the lot, so just be aware this spot gets busy at night. I got the Santa Fe chicken salad and my kiddo got cheese pizza and fries. We got the small molten chocolate cake for dessert. It was literally to die for! Just be sure to look over your bill. We were charged for the game play $3.99 and never even touched that little kiosk thing. It sat exactly where it was when we sat down. The first time I touched it was to pay the bill. So how that happened feels a little shady to me. They corrected it quickly but how many people don't bother to view the check before paying? How long had it been since I last ate at Chili's? Never. After all their years in existence I just never felt inspired to try them. But today is a new day; and the new 3 For Me deals kind of finally pushed me through the door. I had heard pretty good things about their smash burger so that was my entree choice, which comes with fries. My appetizer, the chips and salsa. Watermelon lemonade my beverage; $10.99. For the Mrs., the classic 6oz sirloin with broccoli and baked potato, chicken enchilada soup and the watermelon lemonade as her beverage; $16.99. Everything, other than the salsa which came with the chips was above average. But that salsa needs work. My first smash burger was delicious but like so many burgers a bit messy to eat. With very good fries, more than enough. And back to the chips, perfectly prepared and fresh; and enough for 2 or 3 people. My wife enjoyed her meal as well but thought the watermelon lemonade a bit too sweet for her taste. Our server Ronnie was very nice and attentive to our needs; service with a smile. She, and all the wait staff were extremely polite and friendly. The space was very clean with a nice ambiance, with just enough decorations for the holiday season. People like to crap on chains like Chilis and The Olive Garden, but this is a good Chili's if you know what to order (and what not to). Stick to things that are fresh (house made guacamole and chips) or that tolerate freezing well (burgers, chicken fajitas) and you'll be fine. Always lots of sports on the TVs on game days! My party and I arrived in uniform for our private company and requested a booth upon entering. We specifically explained to the host that, due to our roles as drivers, we are not permitted to sit near the bar area as it could give the impression that we are drinking while on duty. Despite noticing that the entire left side of the restaurant was open, we were met with significant pushback and repeatedly encouraged to sit in the bar area. This made our first interaction very uncomfortable. After an unnecessary delay, we were eventually seated in the area we originally requested. We typically keep our order simple--starting with waters before ordering the "3 for Me" bundles. However, the situation took a turn when staff became unusually aggressive in insisting that free water was somehow tied to the bundle and that we were not allowed to have fountain drinks instead. This was extremely confusing and frustrating, as we have never experienced a situation at any chain restaurant where water would be treated as a $6 item or used to restrict other drink options. Because we were on a limited lunch break and wanted to avoid escalating the situation, we chose to skip the fountain drinks altogether--even though they were included with our purchase. To make matters worse, when we reviewed the bill, it clearly showed that water is, in fact, free. This raised serious concerns about either a lack of proper training or something more concerning in how we were treated. Overall, this was one of the most uncomfortable and negative dining experiences we've had at this restaurant. read more

This review is long overdue. I will admit, I don't think I would have ever eaten at any Chili's but I decided to give this place a shot because of the commercials, the food looked so good on TV. I am very impressed with how this particular place is ran, all the employees are excellent, expeditious and the management team seems to really be on top of it. Everyone there helps each other out and that really makes the difference, literally, the second you order your drinks, someone else is bringing them out even while your server is still taking your order (wireless order tablet). Fast forward, the quality and size of food, I'm very impressed, everything tastes great, we ordered a lot of stuff from salads to Burgers, even that appetizers that I generally don't get elsewhere. If you've never been to a Chili's or have been to a Chili's where you weren't impressed, try this place out. I believe it will change your opinion, at least for this location. read more

One of the top reasons I come to this location is the service! Sarah has always been so kind and does a great job handling multiple parties, checking in, remembering the regulars, etc. I've stopped going to other Happy Hour spots because she's such a pleasant person and well drinks are reasonably priced. The vibe is usually calm and relaxing in the daytime during the week, and I appreciate being able to just come in for a quick cocktail and something to eat. There's no food on Happy Hour, but there's quite a few appetizers or sides to choose from that aren't too pricey. The only thing I wish was better was the restrooms - they are usually clean and stocked, but there's a consistent lingering smell in there almost every time and I'm not sure what it is. I did have a poor experience in the past with this Chili's but my visit last night was much better. With Covid restrictions lifting it was nice eating out and inside the dining room. Capacity is limited and there is not much open for seating in the bar area (didn't matter to me). They have the 'waiting area' currently off limits. The server was super friendly and fun and the food tasted great. They could serve Angry Orchard or a Mule but the blended strawberry margarita was tasty. Chili's is super nostalgic to me personally! I used to love coming here with my family all the time because they have pretty semi-fast service. You do get what you pay for though. The ambiance of this place is that sort of sticky, humid feeling similar to a BJ's or any other sports bar type of restaurant, so I would not call it fine dining in the slightest, but everything is fairly clean! I like ordering the triple dipper as the main entree, it is meant to be an appetizer for everyone but I love the variety and the personalization of this concept! I usually get 3 different options every time but I got the egg rolls, chicken tenders, and the mini sliders, and was pleasantly full afterwards, and even got to take some leftovers home! The servers are fairly attentive and are constantly walking back and forth serving multiple tables so there may be a bit of a wait, but nothing too long! read more

Celebrated my best friend's 35th birthday here and the staff were wonderful and accommodating to the biggest group I've ever rolled through with at a restaurant. We were hooked up with multiple chips and salsa baskets based on one purchase of a basket which are always a great starter before my main meal. For my main meal I got the 3 for me with the starter of a house salad with blue cheese because I know what I want. Added on a classic margarita blended because it was just 4 dollars and was tasty as can be leaving me sociable and ready for my food. My main entree being the Secret Sauce Burger with the substitute of a black bean patty, which I am happy is back on the menu since I'm vegetarian and cannot eat any other entree otherwise. Overall I'm a big fan of this staff and the restaurant in general was a nice low light feel that made me comfortable in hanging for a few hours to celebrate and converse on a Friday night. read more
