My yummy tiramisu Bday Cake. I hope my wish comes true.
    Pat O.

We made reservations and we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. We were a party of 6, celebrating my Bday. It had been a while since we'd dined here and we were very happy they are still around. They are hidden behind an auto parts store in a strip center. Anyway, we started with martini's and appetizers. Apple martini, porn star & bloody goose were our martini starters. We shared an artichoke and bruschetta. Our main course choices were Lobster Bisque & Prawn Cocktail, for my pregnant granddaughter. No martini's for her. My grandson had another artichoke to go with his caesar salad. He was not feeling 100%. The rest of us had actual delicious meals: Jambalaya, short rib ravioli, lobster ravioli and gnocchi with a chicken breast and pesto sauce. We then had another round of drinks. My husband changed to wine, but our youngest granddaughter and I got the Svedka Razzberry Lemon Drop Martini. The Social is known for its martinis. They have around 90 on their martini menu. We were all very happy with our good and drinks. We were wondering why we hadn't been there more often. The waitress brought me a little tiramisu with a lit candle. We had already been passing our martini's around, for tasting, so we did the same with the dessert. Nice ending to our dinner. BTW we took Lyft home and my daughter, who does not drink, drove her "kids" home. Lucky we all live pretty close.

So lucky. Patrick called us about a cancellation on Valentine's Day. We with friends and we were all in heaven. The service was great and everything we ordered was excellent. I love sauces and man they didn't disappoint ! We all shared the Bacon Scallops. The Lobster Bisque had a perfectly consistency and flavor. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and will be hard to try something else if this is in the menu. The Filet Mignon with Bearnaise sauce was delicious. The Lamb Chops was cooked well and tasty and the Lobster Ravioli was delish and well enjoyed.

Quiet, well appointed interior. Great service. Food was above average, but not exquisite. Didn't offer other options other than broccoli and charged a premium for just asparagus. Steak was moderately tender and flavorful, but not juicy. Good for once a year.

Came here for happy hour the other day for the first time and it was great. They have tons of food and drink options. The inside is smaller but can still be great for groups. They have tables and booths. There is also tall/bar top seating if you want to enjoy there. They have so many different martini selections and blue cheese stuffed Olives for a dirty martini. So yummy the service was great and very fast. We got a few different options off the happy hour menu. Everything was good and made fresh which was nice. Will definitely be back for the full menu and regular dining.

Made a reservation here for a surprise Valentine's Day dinner. I was not expecting such an excellent all around experience. From upon arrival to closing out the check, everything was everything. I requested the corner table. The red table clothes stood out an Gabe a room a romantic vibe. Chelsea was our hostess for the evening, she provided such professional and attentive service. After reviewing the extensive cocktail menu of 85 drinks, I ordered the Makers Mark Old Fashion and a Jolly Rancher for the lady. For starters, my wife had the Lobster Bisque and the Apple Salad for me. So tasty and fresh. It was larger than I expected. For the main I went with the Chilean Sea Bass. It was absolutely delicious. It's a special entree on the menu, only served on occasions. Last but not least I rounded the night off with a crème brûlée. I prefer more crusty topping but it was really good. We met the Owner Patrick and he sat with us a bit and shared his inspiration behind the cocktail names. He provided a few suggestions. We had a great time

This is my plane home away from home !! A hug and greeting always from Patrick the owner. Rafael is always in cue !! Knows my drink of preference. Always attentive to our needs . The food is always to perfection. The Martini menu is so expensive, I just love this place ! This is by far my #1 place in town !

Everything was well organized and the staff made us feel welcome right away. The food was amazing--the wings, cheese sticks, and pretzel bites were huge hits with everyone at the party. You can tell the kitchen cares about what they're putting out. Chef Angel was especially friendly and professional, and it was clear he takes pride in the food. The service was excellent too. Chris and the bartenders/servers were quick, attentive, and super friendly, even with a big group. Drinks were coming out fast and everyone felt taken care of. Overall the whole place was clean, accommodating, and just a really fun atmosphere for a birthday celebration. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back for another night of pool, food, and drinks. Highly recommend for parties or a fun night out!

This is a large,…read morenicely-maintained pool room with assorted other games available (darts and such), a great digital jukebox system, and plenty of TV's playing sports. The decor is "industrial," but it's clean and airy, so there's no sense of being in a "dive" -- in fact, this is a family-friendly place, and I saw some youngish couples playing pool on what seemed to be afternoon dates. The physical bar is relatively small, with only about 8-12 seats, but that's because they're keeping as much space open as possible for game play. The staff was friendly and chatty, and seemed quite intent on making sure everyone had everything they needed. The menu is wider and more interesting than one would expect in a pool hall environment, with creative pizzas, burgers, sandwiches and salads promising a more unique and memorable meal than the average hangout. I opted to try the Pastrami Pizza: a traditional tomato and mozzarella pie topped with what they call "mustard fried pastrami," onions, chopped pickles, and a drizzle of yellow mustard. It's a good-sized pizza, larger than a true individual pie, and enough for 2 people to share. The pastrami was savory without being too salty, while the pickles, onions and mustard all added nice pops of flavor without feeling like a gimmick. My one disappointment was that the pizza was not prepared well-done as requested, making the crust more doughy than crisp. Also, the temperature in the venue was darn near frigid, so my pizza got cold very quickly, which reduced my ability to enjoy it as much as I would have if the pie had been piping hot. Other food being enjoyed in close proximity to me looked and smelled very good (wings and burgers), and like I said, the people were all top notch hosts. So, while the final pizza prep could use some improvement, I think these folks are doing a very good job of making bar food that's more interesting and memorable than you'll find anywhere else in the area. Definitely stop in and give them a whirl.

I was disappointed to say the least, but cannot hold that against the still-fantastic staff that whipped up another fantastic martini and welcomed me with smiles and warm hellos. With poutine off the list, I opted for the Kalbi Tacos: corn tortillas very generously topped with Hoisin Braised Short Rib, Candied Cashews, Serranos, Kimchi Carrot Slaw, and a Sweet Chili Aioli that I asked for on the side. Though billed as a starter, these 2 tacos are quite substantial and make a satisfying meal -- especially because of the richness of the beef, which has a full-bodied, Asian flavor I found really appealing. The heat from the Serrano peppers did a good job of cutting the sweetness of the Hoisin, and the combination of Kimchi Slaw and Candied Cashews added a nice crunch. I"m glad to have gotten the aioli on the side, as a little dab on a few of the bites was enough for me to try, and I found the tacos to be rich enough without it -- but don't get me wrong, the ailoi had a nice flavor and you might be all in. The other recent change is the unfortunate fire that took away several buildings across the street from the restaurant, including an historic theater. People at the bar, and generally around town, are really feeling the loss, and it's the right time to show your support for the businesses and the community. Even if the poutine has vanished for the time being, I'll be back soon to try something else interesting from the menu of very interesting choices. Pub food has lots of comfort so it's a good place to indulge and unwind after a stressful day. Which seems to be everyday these days. I opted for the cheese toasty but they were out of tomatoes that day so I didn't get to experience the full Monty. Wife got the fish sandwich. Tasty slaw on it. Daughter got the steak frites. These had skinny fries while the sandwiches had thick pub fries. Didn't order any drinks but most people looked happy with the selections. You can ask to get 10% off your meal if you go to a movie and show your ticket. I asked our server about it and said she'd take care of it. Well she didn't. Whatever! I figure it's tough making a profit these days so I didn't push it. Wouldn't want the pub to go under for just $8. Service seemed pretty slow as it may have been understaffed the night we went. Several people outside waited quite a while for their checks to be handled. Didn't take any pictures, plenty are already posted in other reviews. Free Parking is in the garage adjacent. That is a nice draw in Newhall.

My plate came out dirty with a chip on the dish-ware. The bbq bottles were sticky and congealed. Just think, if this the cleanliness of the dining room, imagine what the kitchen looks like.
