After a few years' hiatus from this location because of consistently wrong orders delivered, my wife and I tried dining in here. The experience was much better and a nice reintroduction to the Sharky's food, which I remember liking a lot. I appreciate the generally healthy vibe and abundant vegetarian options. It's great that they bring you chips to the table while you wait for your food, and the salsas you can help yourself to are delicious. I tried their newer Crispy Cheese Taco, made on your choice of flour or corn tortillas (I had flour) with a crispy layer of cheese next to the tortilla and filled with black or pinto beans (I had black), fresh guacamole, chipotle crema, and cotija cheese. This was really good, flavorful, and the crispy cheese parts were quite fun and tasty! I didn't think just one of these would fill me up, so I also got a bean and cheese burrito...As it turns out, the taco itself was quite filling (larger than your typical street taco and very full), so I didn't really need the burrito...Though I did chomp away at it...It's also generous in size, and plenty of a meal on its own...I think I prefer the flavors that come with their Fiesta burrito to the more plain nature of bean and cheese, but adding onions, cilantro, and salsa from the salsa bar helped with this. I was happy to eat at Sharky's again and would recommend this spot for dine-in. Delivery accuracy has almost always been terrible from this spot (i.e. order has been wrong most of the time) so I recommend eating there. read more

The staff here is always super friendly and every time I come I always see someone cleaning which is awesome. The restaurant is always clean. Everything I've tried from here is very good but my all time favorite is the chicken nachos. My mom tried the avocado quinoa salad and added salmon and it was very refreshing and tasty. We've been ordering this dish about three to four times a week as part of our effort to maintain a healthy diet. However, we've recently been disappointed with our orders from the Santa Clarita location. My husband usually orders the same dish for lunch in Calabasas, and it's always prepared perfectly there. Unfortunately, the quality at the Santa Clarita branch has been inconsistent. It seems like the bell peppers aren't being cleaned properly -- the seeds are often left inside, which makes the dish unpleasant to eat. I have a sensitive stomach, so this really affects me. We've given this location two chances already, but the issue persists. I'm sure other customers wouldn't appreciate it either. Unless the preparation improves, we'll have to stop supporting this branch, which is unfortunate because we truly enjoy this meal when it's made right. read more

What a great hidden gem in Santa Clarita! The food was truly exceptional - I highly recommend trying the Fiesta Burrito with salmon. There is a face covering required sign by the door, but only staff is wearing masks...patrons are not. 2 tables left and after 5 minutes still did not wipe down tables. Restaurant was not crowded with plenty of space. The korean fried chicken tacos were not that good... think chicken tenders with a spicy garlicky sauce drizzled on top... not the way you think of Korean fried chicken. The salmon wrap was a wrap and not a burrito. The tortilla was not steamed so it was stiff and fell apart only after a few bites. Salmon lacked seasoning. I ordered the chicken salad and the manager/server was so rude I almost walked away. Should have! The "chicken" was the "shaved" part of a chicken piece: couldn't tell which part! It was mostly lettace with a sour dressing! I had it about a week ago and it was so good I made a special trip to try it again. We ordered to-go about 45 minutes before closing. We ordered two tempura shrimp tacos. We got some tacos with fried chicken instead. By the time we realized it, it was too late to go back. We did tell corporate but they don't care and never responded, of course. They included the lime slices as they would with shrimp tacos and there is no such thing as a fried chicken taco so I have to believe this was not an innocent mix-up. The quesadilla is a staple for my kids although at the current price point, the portion should be a bit more generous. The salad has loads of ingredients. Food was great, no complaints there. This is the first place we ate inside since they have been able to open for inside dining. The three stars are for the lack of cleaning of tables when we dined on Sunday. We were there for an hour and we never saw anyone from the staff come over to clean the tables. The table we choose to sit at which was designated for seating by the restaurant was still dirty from the previous person who dined in. I also witnessed that two tables away from us a family was sitting there dining when we arrived and when they left know one from the staff came over to clean. So far I've only tried the salmon wrap, which was delicious. Customer service was always great the few times I went. The restaurant is located on the corner of the food court. I like how the restaurant was built in a way that you can either eat in the restaurant or out at the food court. The ambiance is always usually dim in the restaurant, but that doesn't bother me. :) read more

Great mall option for a quick healthy meal. The best place to park to get in and out quickly without having to go into the mall is near the food court. Sharky's has 2 entrances, one outside of the mall and one through the food court. This Sharky's is tad smaller than the stand alone locations. It has an indoor dining room and food court seating. The decor is similar to the other locations as is the menu of organic, locally sourced takes on Mexican classics. I'm always happy with my vegetarian options here. My visit was on Saturday at around 12:30 pm. It was busy but not crowded. Seating was easy. The crowd rolled in at 1:00 pm. We ordered at the counter (Roasted Veggie Bowl with tofu and Salmon Burrito) and grabbed our table inside. Our food arrived at our table quickly and was delicious and of good quality for a semi- fast food restaurant. Prices were decent. Service was outstanding. The young adults working at the location were friendly, hardworking and helpful. Watching them constantly doing something (cleaning, serving, etc.) was refreshing. The restaurant was very cleaning and well-stocked (salsa bar, utensils, etc.). Great teamwork here! The restaurant did not have its own dedicated restrooms. Food court restrooms were available. Just before we left the Valencia mall, I stopped into Sharky's to place an order to go. Up front was Rebecca who assisted me with taking my order as well as explaining a few other things. Rebecca was so kind, very helpful and another thing I noticed was her having this great welcoming smile, she looks like she enjoys her position. she gave us a number and we sat down to wait for the order I noticed a large family with kids leaving their table. They left a huge mess with food all over the floor! I couldn't believe it! Almost immediately an employee by the name of Cai rushed over to that table and with a sweet smile began to wipe down that table and start sweeping up that horrific mess! I just looked at him and told him how much we appreciated all his hard work. I then asked him if I could speak to a manager as I'd like to compliment him on a job well done! He said he is the manager! I was shocked! He really is so professional and extremely humble person! The mall was packed as it's the holidays and customers were coming in from everywhere and he saw to it that tabletops and dining floor looked very presentable! He was very quick and making certain that other customers were happy! I would like for upper management to recognize that it is employees like Rebecca and Cai that make dining at Sharky's that much more enjoyable! Their hardworking and dedication shows as they work incredibly well with the public! Definitely recommend coming here for their tasty healthy food options! This is unfortunately the only Sharky's in Santa Clarita. I usually love this restaurant however recently their service has left a worse taste in my mouth than their food. I normally hate leaving reviews (especially bad) but there have been too many incidents for me not to. Here are a few: -After informing the staff multiple times that one person in our party has a severe gluten allergy, we requested that the chips be removed from the dish that she ordered. However, after waiting for a long time to receive our food, they had still cooked the order with the chips specifically asked to not be included. After I took the order back to have it remade, they brought it back to us awhile later. It was cold, and after the person in our party ate some of it, she found that they had taken out only some of the chips by hand instead of remaking it, however she only found out when she found full chips buried under the food. Later on that day, she had a severe allergic reaction because the staff was too lazy to have the kitchen remake one dish. -The staff are constantly messing around or visibly on their phones when customers are waiting to have their orders taken. This has been a regular pattern every time we have come to the restaurant. In addition, the food has regularly taken a very long time to come out after we have been seated each time. On several occasions, we have been the first to be seated, however we have had to wait until several other full parties (who came in long after we ordered) finished their food and left before receiving our food, which was both cold and stale (and again, had been cooked with the item one person in our party was allergic to). Its a sad day when McDonalds or Jack in the Box has better service and attention to allergens. I'm honestly shocked that they haven't been the target of multiple lawsuits up until this point. Went here for lunch, and this kid Cai takes my order. Whole time he's talking to me in this awful mexican accent, because i'm mexican. I find it incredibly RUDE and RACIST. Keep in mind he's a scrawny twig and white. The food took too long to come to my table. THEN this kid CAI starts barking orders at the other employees who were running around much more than he was, with no accent.With a bad attitude asking them to clean a table or take an order. Terrible managing. He was extremely disrespectful to those waitresses who were doing just fine. This kid got a power trip or something. Demote him to mopping the floors or fire him. He needs to be humbled. Don't go here if you don't wanna feel discriminated. Food was mid. Won't come again if this immature racist kid is there. Yelp 2018 Challenge (14 of 100) It has been almost two years to the day since my original review so I am considering this new since the time between has been so long. I bought a $15 for $30 off Local Flavor recently for this location. It is in the mall and off the food court so easy enough for me to get to on a brief two minute walk from work. The inside area was crowded and since it has been warm my wife and I decided when we walked in to sit on their patio area. We walked up to place our order, one girl was there and taking an order from a customer. She didn't acknowledge us at all as we stood there waiting to order. A guy walked over and just gave a lackluster hello, I am pretty sure this is the manager or assistant. He said what would you like to order and then as the word bubble hung in the air said hang on and walked off. The girl continued to take the order over the phone. Another guy came over a minute or so later and with the same enthusiasm as the previous guy took our order. I got a steak nachos and my wife the Sharky's quinoa salad plus our two fountain drinks. The second lackluster employee said no charge since it was under $30 but I think it was close because their food costs quite a bit for a salad or nachos. We got our drinks and sat outside and within a few minutes got the food. I took a picture of mine but the nachos were cold and looked like they had been sitting around. Yes..yes I could have told them, but basically not worth the hassle and didn't want to take any time away so I dealt. Not really a good lunch except the company so I dropped the rating and think the reason they put out the promo is because they are slipping...it appears that may continue. read more

I have been a longgggg time customer at Sharky's, this has been my go to spot for years. One dish I used to get all the time was the seasonal roasted veggie bowl. To my dismay they recently revamped the dish and it is no where as good, they removed the brown rice that it used to come with and added some veggies that don't really mesh well. Fortunately, Sharky's still does have some really good vegan/vegetarian dishes. I was just a little disappointed my fav dish was changed for the worse. Overall the food is very good, the tofu is amazing. The service never disappoints, you are always greeted with a smile. read more
