Took the family out recently to eat at Chili's. We rarely eat here because they don't have a very good/safe variety for a gluten free diet. My kids really wanted to go so we gave it a shot. From previous experiences, the servers do not have very good knowledge of which foods are free from what allergens and they tell you to check out their website. Unfortunately, my phone had horrible service and I could not bring it up. So I chose a dish and asked the server if she knew whether this would be safe or not. To no surprise, she didn't. I asked if she could ask the manager or cook and at first she was hesitant then went back and came back with a paper with a gluten free list. Luckily, the dish I chose was safe. Once the dish came out, I was pretty excited. It was the chicken rice bowl. I forget its actual name. I really enjoyed my first bite which was mostly the upper layers but was so sad once I took the second bite. The rice was so hard it actually hurt my teeth. I don't like wasting food or complaining to the servers so I tried to tough it out but it was just too hard throughout the entire bowl. I asked my husband and daughter to try and both were shocked at how bad it was. There is really no excuse for how hard that rice was. It was either way too undercooked or extremely old and dried out. The server was very apologetic and the manager stopped by the table who was also very apologetic. They offered to replace my dish but I've had too many bad experiences at Chilis with either foods that hurt my stomach or dishes that are just okay. So I thanked them and declined. The atmosphere is always friendly. The restaurant is pretty clean each time we have stopped in. Servers have always been kind. But after one too many disappointments with a not so gluten free/friendly menu and inconsistent quality of foods, this will most likely be our last visit. This is by far the smallest Chili's I've ever seen. Like half the size of most Chili's. Also, it gets incredibly crowded if you're not there early for dinner. We arrived around 5:10pm and by 5:30-5:45pm there was already a wait. Luciano was our server and he was really attentive. The only service issue I had was the drinks from the bar took too long as the bartender seemed to just chat with a local rather than make drinks. But other than that the server was on top of everything else. My husband had the Smokehouse Combo with ribs and crispers which he enjoyed. My youngest had the kids chicken crispers and I had the Fajita Trio. The Fajita Trio was alright but the shrimp tasted Smokey and overdone. The chicken & steak were good. The tortillas were way too small like street taco sized which made it hard to add all the yummy meat, onions, peppers, cheese, guacamole and sour cream too. Plus I had to order more as they only gave me 4. We had done a Togo order previously and wasn't too impressed so if we come back we'll dine it so it tastes fresh and hot. read more

I went there because I had taken the family there before and we had a favorite booth. It was empty but one of the greeters was shaking his head no. I went over and sat down anyway. From there on out it was poor service. The waiter who started the order disappeared. They didn't clear all the dishes between the meal and dessert. And dessert was really late. Finally another waitress helped us and she acted like we were the problem. I gave a 25% tip and that was really a mistake. My birthday dinner was a bad vibe. Bummer read more

This is a pretty good Mexican dine-in restaurant! We started with chips and salsa, and the portion was HUGE. Their chips were thin and crispy, not as hard as the other chips I've had. Also, I was happy that the second basket of chips was fresh and warm! (Protip: sign up for the Chili's reward program, and you get free chips and salsa with purchase every visit!) We got the chicken and steak fajitas, and I liked the grilled peppers and onions. Some pieces of steak were kinda chewy, but the fajitas were still good overall. The smokehouse combo was pretty good and I liked the variety. We got the ribs, honey-Chipotle chicken crispers, and chicken bacon ranch quesadillas. The ribs were alright, definitely couldn't compare with Texas roadhouse or other bbq places. I liked the honey Chipotle sauce and would recommend this kind of crispers. The quesadillas tasted great with a cripsy tortilla, wished there could be more fillings though. The combo also came with street corn (yum!), fries (decent), and garlic bread (meh--not soft nor toasty). All in all, I had a great experience there. The food was yummy in general, the price was reasonable, and the waitress was very attentive. We finished two baskets of chips before the main dishes came, so we got filled up pretty quickly and got some leftovers for lunch the next day! I thought I wouldn't be able to find a Chilis in the area with good service and decent food but this one was a very nice surprise. I had to try it cuz of all the facebook posts of being "pleasantly surprised", including raving reviews from a good friend/ fellow yelper. We went low key for Vday this year due to the weather but shocked when didn't have to wait at all. I guess it was because of the area and all but hardly anyone was sitting at the bar and it was 1st come/ 1st serve there. So that's where my hubby and I sat! We did the infamous 2 for Me. I ordered the honey chipotle chicken crispers. I chose chips and salsa for my app. I also swapped out the soda and paid a lil extra to get the margarita of the month. The only glitch in my evening was the corn on the cob that came with my chicken. It was cold in the middle. I told the bartender/waitress and she told me she will get me a replacement. But in the end the kitchen forgot. Since it was Vday, I'm sure the kitchen was crazy busy so I'll give it a pass. PS....this location is definitely the smallest Chili's I've been to! Definitely can see from one end of the restaurant easily while standing on the other end! I'm glad to have a Chili's location near my house! Chili's is always a reliable choice, as their food at any location is consistent - you typically know what to expect. For starters, my son and I are obsessed with their skillet queso. It's our favorite of all their dips and we highly recommend trying it if you haven't already. Their chips were thin and crispy as usual. No complaints there. My son enjoyed his mini cheeseburgers and for the most part, I enjoyed my regular burger. All my special requests to remove certain ingredients were met and the burger itself was tasty. My only complaint would be that some grease and mustard spilled out the side, which caused the bottom of the bun to become soggy. I received what I consider to be the best service I've ever had at a Chili's. Our server was amazing and was so sweet to my son - she made his day! She was very attentive and our food and drinks came out super quickly. The hosts at the front door were also very kind and made sure we were seated within minutes, despite it being packed when we went. This location just opened in the last week. Good spot with all the new communities being built nearby. We tried coming another night and it was packed! We came earlier this time and during the week. It was still packed but we got seated quick. The service was pretty great. While some of the staff is pretty new, they were nice and accommodating. Had a few mess ups around the order and payments but it was all resolved. Loved the 3 item smokehouse combo with 1/2 rack of baby back ribs, brisket quesadillas and honey chipotle chicken fingers. The fajitas were good too. The molten chocolate lava cake was amazing per usual. All in all a good experience, just make sure you account for the potentially long wait time and see if you can make a reservation or come during off hours! read more

Oh Chili's how you love to disappoint me. This is a fairly new location and after our first less than stellar visit we figured they were working out the kinks and we decided to give it another try tonight when family were in town. We had a fairly large group and when we went in they offered to split our family into two booths so we politely declined and said we were happy to wait for a table we could all fit at. The hostess was annoyed and we got eye rolls and sighs--clearly by offering to wait we were messing up her night. And sadly it was just downhill from there. Our waitress clearly hates her job. She was so salty and didn't make any effort to at least try be friendly or fake it. She spent most of our meal hiding behind the kitchen entry doors texting on her phone. She was rude to my kids and when my ribs came out solid as a rock and dry as jerky and completely inedible I hesitated to even talk to her about them but I did and she feigned some attempt at an apology (despite it not being her fault). They remade them and delivered the tiniest replacement "half rack" I've ever seen, maybe a notch or two less dry than the original ones. I just gave up and boxed them up for my animals. I'm usually overly tolerant and hardly ever send food back but this time the ribs were bad, it really warranted it. The sulky hostess, the grouchy waitress, the dehydrated ribs and the failure of their replacement leads me to believe it was wasn't kinks being worked out the first visit. read more

So glad to have a Chilis near the house. We've ordered pickup and delivery multiple times for this location and let me tell ya, not once have we had any issues. We've always gotten our drinks, appetizers, food was the perfect temperature. The staff has been so good! We have no complaints about this location. They are even fast compared to other Chilis. This new restaurant is really nice with a good layout and fun feeling. Overall the food was good. Unfortunately I ordered a chicken sandwich and the chicken was over cooked and felt like biting into a brick. I love going to new restaurants because it's still so clean and well maintained. The staff you could tell was still learning a lot so I'll be more gracious with them. But they still did great overall. I love chilis because their menu really does have something for everyone. I feel like it's usually a guaranteed good meal. Chili's is a go-to favorite for us. They tend to have pretty good deals, like the "3 for Me" option: choice of drink, appetizer, and entree (from a select list). This location gets pretty busy on weekend evenings, as it's a pretty small restaurant. The waitlist is great though. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Terrible customer service. The manager was awful. They literally give away bottomless chips and salsa, but wouldn't throw in an extra container of salsa because their container is SOOO SMALLL with the To go chips and salsa. They said I had to pay an extra dollar. I normally wouldn't mind but it's the principle. She tried to argue that they couldn't do it because people would come in off the street and ask for more chips and salsa. That is the worst argument, asking for a free additional container before the food is even delivered does not equate to coming back an hour after it's delivered and expecting bottomless chips in salsa. Ordered a Santa Fe burger for $15.99 it had clear cheese, virtually no toppings, and no taste. Not worth it. Got some boneless wings about $1 each. One came out and was thinner than a fried pickle; also didn't come with any carrots or celery sticks which I thought was too bad. Got chips and salsa but the chips were crumbs and impossible to dip. Very disappointing. If you come an hour or so before close expect your server to busy cleaning the restaurant and not being very attentive. This experience has left me jaded about coming back to a Chili's. I will think of other options before coming back. read more
