Chili's has taken a major nose dive, wilty salads, clumpy max n cheese, disgusting bathrooms and sticky menus, last time we'll come here

Walked in and immediately noticed the surroundings were far different from any Chili's I've been in before. The modern, upscale vibe has replaced the more casual environment that existed previously. The free chips and salsa during happy hour must have been a casualty of this, because they aren't offered anymore. There's still a smattering of happy hour food specials (1/2 boneless wings for $2.99, full for $2.99), as well as a couple of other specials. The cheese fries were a mess--unseasoned and tons of cheese made for an not-so-pleasant dish. The wings were cooked nicely, though I think they only have one sauce for those of you who may be into different types. The bartender was friendly enough, but the restaurant was completely dead at 4PM. One other gentleman walked in, drank one beer, and left. There's only about five beers on tap, which was disappointing, as well as the fact that Wi-Fi was not available. read more

This had nothing to do with covid, they are rude, lazy, and employ grossly incompetent people. I hope they go out of business. Tried to grab a beer a watch football, they made that brutal at best. I'll never go back. read more

Chains are not my most favorite places to review, but I really like Chili's for their great service and fun decor. The food is always good, and I am never disappointed in each one I go to. I have a favorite meal, which is simple, the potato soup. Some days, I am just dreaming of a bowl, especially on a cold day. I like the $6 lunch specials on the back of the menu. You get a bowl of soup and a small pizza for six bucks. Two for one Coors Lights all day. Can't beat it. read more

As always, I'm a fan of Chili's. This was my first time at this particular Chili's and it was really good. I went at lunchtime with co-workers and had great service from our waitress. The lunch menu is really reasonably priced. I had an iced tea, a bowl of soup and a super delicious BLT for $8.99. If I would've skipped the drink I could've left paying for my meal and tip for $10 or under! The only thing I wasn't impressed with was when a different waitress walked by and joined in on our private conversation. It was really awkward and somewhat uncomfortable. read more

Always delicious. Pretty good service. Ice cold drinks. Why not!? Seems perfect. Good atmosphere and affordable. I love the specials and happy hours. Always keeps me going back. More often than not the service is great, fast and friendly, but there are often new servers being trained. It makes for the dining experience to run a bit rough. The transfer is always there to help but can't be in more than me place at a time. I do not recommend the chicken crispers. Too greasy and not cooked evenly. Good thing is, the menu is large with many delicious items. Will return hoping for a bit more interaction with server and checking to see how the food is earlier than half way through the meal. read more

We were so disappointed at our last visit. Our waiter was attentive and doing a great job, but there is something waaaaay off about their kitchen. Our appetizer took a long time and came out cold. Our main entrees were also partly cold. It's like their timing was off or they thought something was cooked when it wasn't. Cold food is unacceptable when a restaurant uses food runners. Very strange experience. Chili's is one of my go to places and I've been to this location more times than I can remember. I salsa that came out with the chips was clearly watered down. When the server brought it it was spilling over like a glass onto the chips. It was so clearly not right I told the waitress and she gave me some weird excuse that the salsa didn't have enough time in the fridge or something. When I asked if she could just bring another salsa she got all snotty and says "like I said....". After that the food the rest of our entrees were just not normal for chili's. I took the survey on the little monitor thing they have where you pay now. As I was filling out the comments the waitress asked if I needed to talk to the manager about the salsa. I just saw no thank you. She said "are you sure because you are filling out a long comment". It's like she was watching me. Then she came back a second time while I was filling out the comment and grilled me again about speaking to the manager. My mom actually told her that she was making us uncomfortable continuing to question us about it. My worst food experience at a chili's but the worst was the waitress that had some sort of bad attitude when we got there and was actually kind of confrontational. The place was super empty so I'm wondering if this location has just gone down hill I won't go to that chili's again probably. Very strange. read more

Went there two times in the course of three weeks. Both times the chicken wings looked rotten inside. Each time I showed the waitress. They offered me another batch but I declined. Upon entering this restaurant I promptly seated at a both near the bar. My drink and food orders were taken shortly after that. Both arrived in a timely manner. My fajitas were tasty and filled my up very much. After finishing my early dinner I had a delicious, but oversized molten chocolate cake. As with the rest of food this desert came in a quick fashion. After that everything seemed to go downhill. I attempted to pay on the Ziosk, but could not get it to work. Finally a server other than mine noticed me having problems and asked for mine to come over. Rather than that she was told the computer was down and being rebooted and I would have to wait. Just frustrated that my server did not tell me this earlier. At the same time I felt bad for a couple in the table next to me, as this server told them it would be a while before she could put in their order. Not once did offer to put in a hand written copy of this order. I do understand that tech issues happen in a computer world, I felt my server handled them wrong. In closing the food was great, as was the service at the beginning of my visit, but after desert not so much. read more

This is the WORST chili's experience I have ever had. Took my family to have dinner at this location on Friday Nov 9, only to have all of us in the ER the following day from severe food poisoning. When I called to let the manager Steven know, he was clearly unconcerned. Stating that "unless others call reporting the same, he has no reason to worry". So moral of the story. If you like puking your guts up, & forking over $100 to ER costs, be my guest. Wine & dine at this lovey salmonella factory. Pissed that I'm required to give a star. read more

This Chili's location is by far my favorite. The wait is always minimal (very important when you have a constantly starving husband) and the service is great. The food is always served hot and is consistently well prepared. The chips and salsa are delightful and a couple of our favorite entrees are chicken fajitas and the Cajun pasta so the 2 for $20 is a perfect choice for us. As with anywhere you frequent on a regular basis problems have popped up but were immediately and professionally addressed by the management and staff. Over all I would recommend this Chili's to any of my friends, family and acquaintances. read more

Tonight on the way home from taking my daughter to the airport my husband and I wanted steak at Chilies. Usually their ribeyes are on point and the restaurant is usually pleasant. It being around 7:30 on a Thursday night I was happy to be seated immediately. The host was quick to seat us and was accomodating. This is where the story changes. Our waiter indeed came to ask for our drink order quickly. Brought us those and proceeded to ask for our meal order. He was difficult to understand but his communication skills need work. Before we were finished ordering as he is walking away from the table I asked for a side salad and I'm not positive but I believe I irritated him for asking. Telling him what dressing I wanted also seemed to annoy him. Apparently, it irritated him enough because he never brought me my salad. When the steak and shrimp arrived which was fairly quick I said nevermind about the side salad he then realizes he forgot it and instead of apologizing for forgetting because all of us forget from time to time he says oh ok. We all make mistakes we are human but failing to admit them shows we think we are better than others. Yes we will come back to Chili's because everyone has a bad day and hopefully we will catch this wait person on a better day. read more

Okay, I've been here a dozen times and been generally satisfied, but tonight it became pretty obvious that corporate has changed the quality for the worse in a pretty significant way. I don't expect much from Chilis since it's basically a bar/grill place but the meal they brought to the table tonight was seriously laughable. It's okay, Famous Dave's BBQ is right across the way... table for two please! P.S. our server sold the specials for 'happy hour' as being all-day, every-day.... ? well, by definition if that is your perpetual pricing, then it's not anything special. Thought I'd give chili's another try. Service was sub par. Not very attentive or friendly. Couldn't use gift cards had to wait for server. People behind us ordered and left before us. Fajitas came out so hot they were burned. Moms salad dressing was so watered down she wouldn't eat it. read more

The menu always has some new surprises but some good standbys. Yum!

Only because I can not give zero. Just took my 6 year old here for her birth day and they refused to sing to her even after asking if they sing. The waitress said, " I'm to busy to round people up". As my daughter started to cry she just walked away. Good thing the table by us was willing to sing to her. While we understand Covid has caused tremendous difficulties to the restaurant industry, what we experienced just now was unacceptable. When we arrived at Chili's Larkridge, we were told it was a 10 minute wait. After waiting 30 minutes, We checked for an update and were told we were next in line. After waiting another 10 minutes, I checked the yelp app which said we were 3rd in line. Again, I checked in and was told the wait would be another 10-15 minutes. Making the total wait time 45 minutes. To cap it off, we noticed several dirty tables that could have had guests seated there with social distancing. These tables sat dirty for 20 minutes before we left. Again, I understand covid has made things difficult, however, when customers are trying to help your business, don't lie to them and try to accommodate them as efficiently and professionally as possible. Let me say first, that Chili's food is always great! That why I like to eat there. My review is to talk about the service. It starts out good and ends badly. This has happened to me twice before and it is the same waiter. Once we have our food, the waiter is not to be seen again. I hate it when I have to beg for the bill and then wait...and wait...and wait. So---having said all this, I will be going to the Chili's in Lafayette off of Highway 287 and Baseline (Highway 7). Find another establishment! Between the tattoos and nose rings the staff at 8:15 pm 6-28-16 was too busy texting to wait on people. The appearance only justified the experience! We sat down and waited for 15 minutes for food, and 10 minutes into enjoying our meal, the waitress was offering boxes. She offered us boxes 4 different times while in the middle of eating. When the waitress was picking up our dishes, she spilt a dish all over me. She cleaned up the mess on the bench and floor and did not come back after that. read more

Unethical practices .... Be careful - Chili's added a new remote table top device that will charge you for playing games without any child protection. I'm all for devices and free market, however this device truly took advantage of my son. Prior to giving this device to my son I went through to check it and found that I couldn't order anything from the menu and it didn't appear to be something for me to worry about. When I reviewed my dinner check I noticed a game fee. When I approached the manager she explained that the hostess was trained to warn guests that this device is not protected and will charge you. So apparently the company is aware of this device and still chooses to use it. If you ask me it is a form of fraud and theft of our young kids. Chili's has crossed the border to being a very unethical company. They should be rolled up in the Apple lawsuits. read more

Went there last Saturday at about 8 pm. We were seated right away and then sat...and sat...and sat...and waited...for more than 20 minutes. Not one person came to our table or even acknowledged us. We finally asked someone for our server and we watched her go to at least 4 different people and still nobody came to our table. We finally left and went to another Chili's down the road. When we got there, another party of 3 had done the same thing. Hard to believe that people who work for tips didn't want a table. read more

I have not eat at Chilis much at the distance from Our home. we visited Chili's 12 / 29 /2016 11:00 am Our Server was Marissa Table 9/1we dined in we had a great Meal. hot when it come, very well prepared food. the waitress was very friendly, and making sure that we had everything we needed and she was back checking on us throw are visit.. the Server Marissa give us one of the best experiences we have ever had. including the more expansive suit and tie places. I would tell anyone that Chilies is one of the greatest places. If I was a young man dating this would be a favorite choice . to take a young lady. Every gift card we have ever recieved was a walmart card. For my last birthday i pleaded for anything but walmart My little bro came thru for me and got me a chillis gift card. Expecting a simple meal, i took my family in. What a surprise!! The staff was awesome, the food was superb, and the whole enviroment was FUN.
