One of the worst dining experiences I've had. We were debating on going to Texas Roadhouse and Chillies. We ended choosing Chillies which we regret. Definitely a learning experience though. Learned not to ever come. back. Ever. Staff was very uninviting, untrained, unfriendly. I ordered coffee , they gave me no cream and no small spoon to mix my sugar which was the only thing they had for my coffee. Had to use a fork to mix the sugar in my coffee. There was no spoons on the table just forks and knives. When they gave our drinks they provided No Straws! We had 5 kids with 5 kids cups with lids but no straws. We had to wait till waiter to got back to our table (about 10 minutes) and ask for the straws. This is common sense sh*t. No sense of urgency or care in the world. Everyone finally got their order over an hour later. I was missing my order which was a half rack of baby back ribs. So, I Asked about my order. I Waited another 10 mins or so for my order. When I got my order I was missing my fries. No biggie I'll wait. I ate my ribs while waiting for the fries. Worst baby back ribs I've ever had. Over cooked and super dry! It almost tasted like chicken. So weird. By the time my fries were done I was already done with my ribs. Lost my appetite for the fries. I just gave them to my kids. I can't really blame the staff. As a serial entrepreneur I know that everything starts at the top in a business. It all starts with management, owners and leaders. By the service we received, I can tell There is absolutely zero leadership in this establishment. The management is responsible for allowing such lousy experience and service. They tolerate this. They tolerate mediocrity. Too many good restaurants out there with greater service. I would be insane to come back here. read more

While I try not to eat at chain restaurants too much I went here because I came into town hungry after 10pm and their kitchen is open until 11pm which you won't find at non chain restaurants. We were acknowledged, and seated at the table we requested even though it was in a "closed" area. Host was friendly and so was our server. I was very pleasantly surprised by their new menu and updated look inside. We were late and seated in a closed area so did not try the on-table kiosk thing they have. It really seemed that chillies is trying to stay up to date and relevant. And succeeding. The menu had some healthier choices, the prices were not outrageous and the beers where in huge chilled glasses. After eating at quaint local independent restaurants for a week on our road trip I am sad to say that our chillies experience was the best of the road trip all round. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Waited for someone to acknowledge us and seat us. She seemed annoyed that we were there. Seated in the dining area and noticed many tables hadn't even been cleaned up. Was seated for 10 minutes with no one coming to our table or even acknowledging us. They kept walking by like we were invisible. Couldn't even order through device at the table it wasn't taking orders. Finally flagged someone down and asked for some service and he seems annoyed with us and walked away, we thought to get help. There were 3 of us and 2 of us had burgers and my husband had the cajun shrimp pasta. The meat in the burgers was good. Every time we come here with a party of 8, we are not greeted well. They're always trying to push us to get separate tables; we are here for a birthday dinner and do not want to be separated. We've had an occasion where we waiting 45 minutes and they allowed another party to go ahead of us because they forgot about us. So since 2012 I've been coming here more than before. Tonight, though, was such an unpleasant experience- I ordered the same dish I've been ordering for the past so many years since I've given up meat and tonight's black bean patty tasted like it was cooked where meat was grilled. It was yucky I had to spit it out in a bunch of dinner napkins! I politely and calmly told my server about it and all she could do was apologize. Ok, so I'm not one to ask for comp but c'mon, she could see my half eaten bowl and knowing the fact, she could've asked her manager if she could comp that specific meal (which was only one of 8 meals ordered). When she asked me after I had filled out the survey if there was a problem, I told her again about my experience with the food and how she handled my complaint. I couldn't believe my ears when she took it against me that I didn't escalate the issue to the manager which I eventually did after she started to walk out on me after she has said her piece. Her behavior was hilarious and ridiculous! Sorry she missed out on a good tip. I have to add that the manager seemed understanding and gave me 4 $5 gift cards that I really didn't want anymore after what had happened. Note to restaurant managers and servers- it would've been cheaper (in this case) to just comp the meal and you wouldn't have lost a good tip and good customers if the issue was taken care of right when it was brought up to your attention. read more

I do not like that they moved to having these runners bringing out everything cause Maria and the servers did a much better job but I know it wasn't their say and corporate makes final decision. This review is for about a month ago... My wife and I usually head over to Chilis for happy hour (appetizers and drinks). It's always a great spot for that. This time we sat down to have a normal meal.. Waitress was funny, and quick and always accommodating. I tried the Prime Rib Tacos.... Skeptical at first, by wow... Amazing! Never thought I'd say that about food at Chilis, but man they were good! Only giving 4 stars because for 3 tacos.. They are a bit pricey... And the rice and beans on the side are awful. Forgot to take the full shot of the margherita flatbread but I always love getting this appetizer with my family. Ahhhh! I keep forgetting to take a picture. I got the Cajun pasta with grilled chicken. It is a good pasta. I guess everything was a usual good service so I applause for the service. Came here late Saturday night. Place was actually nice and quite and peaceful! Loved it! Was seated right away and placed drinks right away. Our waiter was excellent was very helpful and was on top of everything my table wanted and needed. Never needed to ask for a box or refill of my drinks. This night was the first time in a very long that I wasn't asked to pay on the little tablet thing that they have at the table. I've been to this Chilis over a dozen times and have never had anything to write home about, the foods been decent, the service has been okay and the drinks are always cold :) I went in for dinner over the weekend and our server was absolutely amazing... Friendly, personable, polite. Made us feel very welcome. About half way through our meal she proceeded to tell us she had only been working there about 2-3 months and it was her first serving job EVER! I almost didn't believe her... I now have been to this place twice and should have just stayed away after the first terrible visit but I thought I would give them a second chance and they did disappoint. I had to comment on how good our experience was tonight at Chili's. They opened the doors for us and greeted us right away. The host was super nice and took us right to a table. Our server was amazing. Extremely friendly and attentive. She helped us pick out drinks and my husband and I were both happy. The runner was great too. He brought us our food, brought extra sauce that we requested and was very careful placing the food around our kids. Even the manager came by and asked how we were and put in another drink order for my husband. The food all came out hot and just the way we ordered. I realize this isn't a high end restaurant but it's a great place to bring our kids. It's family friendly, fast and very left happy with our tummy's full. So glad we decided to go there! read more

First time coming here after a year or so and had a really bad experience. They need to either train the staff on better improving their customer service or hiring a new staff completely. Came here with a few girlfriends of mine for lunch and we were surprised at the terrible service we received. After we sat down and our server introduced herself, it took her literally 25-30 mins to come back to us and order our drinks- and by then we already knew what we wanted to order. And mind you, the place is empty, it's not even packed so I have no idea where she ran off to after introducing herself. So we order and we all ordered a soup and/or salad to start off with. So we are waiting- 15 minutes pass by, and then 20 minutes, and then 30 and still no soup or salad. After half an hr, our server comes by with our actual entree and still no soup or salad, so I kindly tell her to remove those items off our tab and to not even bother bringing them out and she had the nerve to be like, "oh, well you already ordered them so I might as well bring it out" with so much attitude too. And with just as much attitude I told her, "No, the point of our soup and salad was to eat it before our actual food came out", and she just walked away. So after eating, our server was nowhere to be found, we had to flag another waitress and have her bring us our check, and even that waitress was giving us attitude when we asked her. I mean clearly she wasn't trying to help us and seemed very bothered about it when we asked -the place is still very dead, only a few other people seated so it's not like the staff is stressed out from a busy day for one of them to keep disappearing and others having attitude problems Will not be coming back to this particular chilies sadly, I've had better experiences at other locations but the staff here just need to get it together and learn how to do their job correctly read more

My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to our local Chili's for dinner this evening, we were greeted/seated promptly by the hostess assigned to cover the front. The server came shortly after to get our order. I attempted to order fajitas but after the many questions from the server and really no time to review the menu. I opted for something I am familiar with "chicken enchiladas". How difficult can this be? Rite?? Well.. our plates arrived almost 10-15 mins later. My husbands plate looked just like what he ordered from the menu and then came mine. "a complete mess"! It was such a poor presentation of a plate that contain black bean, cheese, rice splatts and yes a couple broken fries that looked half eaten. I did my best not to complain (especially because I was hungry) and determine not to let this ruin our evening. I attempted to eat what was placed in front of me. I could not bring myself to continue with this disgusting plate! I let the server just take it. Since I did attempt to try and eat what I ordered. I had no problem paying for it, which I did. But I did however feel the need to express my concern and point out to the manager in charge. That #1 rule too providing positive dining and great customer service is the presentation of the plates that are served in a restaurant. I understand this is Chili's and yes! I still hold them to a higher standard when the plates are coming out looking like they are fresh from the dirty plate section of the kitchen and not the stove you just have to say something. The manager seemed almost unphased when I showed him the pic of how my plate that was presented to me. I do believe there is always room for improvement which begins with some constructive criticism to this team. Which is... Managers, Cooks, however busy (which in this case they weren't) take some pride in your work, and to the Servers since you do play a key role to the customers you are also equally responsible to know what is acceptable and what is not acceptable! A much much better experience than last time. The hostesses were friendly, and me and my girlfriend had a nice conversation with them, even though there was no wait, which means that they are doing a great job. Our server was not only friendly, but really knowledgeable about the menu. The El Nine margarita and Philly Cheesesteak are amazing, with a really good caeser salad; you know the kind, the one that's not saturated in dressing, just enough for a good flavor. We got here about 8:30 last night and needed something good to eat. The restaurant was so dirty. Tables were stacked with dirty plates and cups, napkins, food, etc was all over the floor (didn't see anyone pick up a broom until 9:30pm close to closing time). The women's bathroom was a complete mess!!! 2 of the 3 stalls were trashed with toilet seat covers thrown around the stall and stuff into the toilet. The 3rd stall had broken toilet paper cover.
