Went last night .. crowded... but seated right away and drinks and chips and salsa right to table ... order taken right away and food came hot and fresh .., some ordered 3/10.00 meals. They said soup cup got hella small. Then had to ask for refills towards end of meal but waitress was nice and made it to go for a few of us. So one of wanted a slice of the new peanut butter cup pie slice to go ...since it was advertised as new on one of the cardboard displays on table ...pushing Merry 6.00 Margarita.... Well they didn't put price on the pie pic ....lol for a reason ...... it's 10.00..... hahaha...should have went and got dessert at Sonic across the freeway!!!!! Crazy thing it's in my fridge this morning and hasn't been touched ...so curious what a 10.00 slice of pie tastes like lol ... but not mine I would take a pic but again not mine!!!! Thank you to the manager Don tonight (6/9/24) for being such a saint! We placed an order through the chilis app for delivery. The dasher assigned marked it as delivered and stole our food (I had it marked as hand it to me). I called Chilis and the manager was so quick to try to get us a refund, but I asked if the food can just be remade and we can pick it up. He said of course and was so apologetic when it wasn't even it fault. Sent my partner to pick up the food and he tried to give him some gift cards, my partner declined and he gave us a free molten cake. He didn't have to do any of this but decided to go above and beyond to make the moment right. He completely made our night. Thank you so much! read more

Caden was our server, as he introduced himself, and our chips and salsa were on our table before he finished taking our order! Wow!! What a great experience!! Grad night party of 7. There was a mix up in our reservation time and the manager Arlene stepped in and had us seated almost immediately. Everyone from host and hostess to waitress and servers were super friendly even though they were slammed!!! And as busy as they were, Just as we were being seated I went to the restroom and upon my short return our server Jackie was already taking our drink and appetizer orders. Jackie was awesome! She was super sweet and friendly and checked on us appropriately. All the food was fresh, hot and delicious. Arlene the manager came back over to check on us toward the end to make sure all was well and congratulate my son on his graduation. Overall 10/10 experience. There are similar style restaurants in town and none hold a candle to the service, food and overall dining experience we had. I've been here many times but never in my life have I and my party been so disrespected before at a restaurant (and we also work in the food industry). Our server was nice at first, and after we ordered drinks proceeded to ID us(which was fine and completely normal for a restaurant) well I guess she thought we were underage and had the bartender/manager ID us and question our birthdate, quality of the ID, last names and who our DD was going to be (which was also fine). A few moments go by and this was when it got weird and really disrespectful. We could overhear the staff talking about the situation and they all just kept looking at us and locking eyes making us feel really uncomfortable and unwelcome there. The manager/bartender went to another table, talked to them, and then the 3 all looked straight at us, and continued to stare every so often. Horrible food and tasteless. I ordered buffalo chicken strips and they gave me Mc. Nuggets with NO celery sticks and only gave me one ranch and put the buffalo sauce in a ramekin. Look at the picture. These people don't care about your order or you. I had to drive back to get it done the right way. Buffalo strips should be dipped in buffalo sauce with celery sticks and ranch dressing on the side. When I picked this order up it was cold. I had to drive all the way across town to have it made the right way! When you order this item, make sure they make it the right way! Don't just let them give you dried chicken bites, make sure your chicken is glazed with buffalo sauce and you get celery sticks with ranch! You're paying for this meal so they should get it right. I was a long fan of Chili's nationwide. They have a menu for every taste. However this experience was so very bad, I will never choose Chilis again. We were seated right away. Hungry and thirsty we tried to request water from our hostess, she ignored us. For 15 minutes we waited. I watched a couple behind us get seated. I flagged down the person bussing tables and requested water. I'm diabetic and dehydrated. They said only. I'll tell your server. Our server Matthew was busy singing to another table. I tried to catch his attention. No luck. He returned to our section. And promptly turned attentions to the voile seated after us. He apologized for no one telling him he had customers but for goodness sake you had to walk by us to get to the customers there a much shorter time. The mango chicken was some flavorless slab of processed chicken served with corn kernel size niblets of teensy tiny hint of almost mango. Waiter never checked in with us, had to wait 13 minutes for sugar for coffee. Never asked if our food was good. We left early. Went to eat yesterday around 3pm and we remembered chili's used to be one of our favorites but not yesterday. We sat by the bar and ordered fajitas a salad and pizza for the kids. Fajitas were bland (no flavor) salad wasn't up to par and pizza sucked. Kids didn't even eat it. Flour tortillas were also burned. When I asked waiter for new tortillas and showed her burnt ones she seemed bothered and made a face. So not only food sucked but so did waitress. My family and I have been going here since 2019 when we moved to Tracy, and I just realized I never reviewed it. We go there probably once every 2 months when we just want to get out the house, or don't feel like cooking. We choose chili's because it's one of the only places that has never let us down. It's consistent every time we go, and it's actually the only location we can say that about. We know that when we come here we are able to find SOMETHING on the menu that we will be satisfied with. This was my 1st time going to Chili's in this area and I must say that our experience was GREAT and FANTASTIC. It was my nieces 18th Birthday and her first choice was closed, so Chili's it is. Made phone call to others to say change of plan is Chili's. The staff was professional, patient and friendly. The person that stood out was our server Tyson. He displayed professionalism, he was patient, accommodating and thorough. At the end of our meal, I had to let Tyson know that we appreciated his service and professionalism. Re: Tracy, Ca location on Grantline Rd. as of May 2019. Acceptable wait time to be seated for a table for 2. Overall experience met my expectations for a chain restaurant. Fajitas were good. Southwestern egg rolls are our favorite. Reason why it gets only 4 out of 5 stars from me is because personally I find the parking to be difficult. Especially handicapped accessible parking. The entrance faces the street and parking is to the side or back, not in front. I understand this is not something Chili's employees can directly control but personally it makes an impression. Got excellent service on Friday night, today, from Austin. He nailed it from start to finish. Kids food was hot & fresh. Drinks & chips out quickly. He checked on us a few times and made sure we were pleased with the food. I got the 3 meat combo, basically Monterey chicken which was good, they never should've removed it from the menu. Jalapeño sausage, & brisket. Brisket was really low quality piece of meat. Pretty much my only knock on today's experience. I wasn't going to send it back as I don't think it was cooks fault, just bad quality piece of brisket at the end of the day. read more

Salty and if you can imagine, bread sitting in a bowl of water texture. There it is. Black beans - more like beans In toilet water. More liquid than beans. Mango Habanero chicken strips. I've had better frozen ones from Costco. Wife ribs order was fine. Kid didn't finish his cold stale fries or his chicken strips, which btw, look NOTHING like the menu pictures. For 60+bux, McDonalds would have been a better choice for a quality mean. Do better than me. Avoid this place. Goodbye for good Chili's. I ordered takeout. I requested a vegetarian entree and they suggested the fajitas which they said were made of mushrooms. I asked him if the rice had any chicken stock in it and they kindly checked with the chef. I waited in my car and they brought the food out to my car. They were very kind. Unfortunately when I got home and opened it, I found that there was chicken as you can see in the photo in the dish. Chili's is what I call our ''fail safe'' and that is when Hubby and I want to go out for Dinner yet can't decide where to go we often end up here. That's not a bad thing, the food and service is actually very decent and the menu is varied enough that if I still want something relatively healthy (Mango Chile Chicken) while Hubby wants something completely different (Taco's or Rib's) it's possible. The recent refit is a huge improvement on it's previous state, gone are those nasty mosaic tile table tops and in it's place are nice modern wooden ones. Everything seems open, bright and more importantly clean. I don't know if it's just that the cooks here are better or there has been a change in standards but compared to another Chili's we used to frequent while living in San Mateo the food here is better.
