We ate here on a rainy Friday night after driving 5 hours for move-in to WFU. Our server was friendly, accommodating, and efficient. Very pleasant! The worst service I've had out at a chili's. Mount airy chilis is WAY better as far as service and food quality. Any chilis is honestly. The waitress was extremely inattentive to our needs and my food was cold, and tasted gross and weird. I eat at chilis quite often and get the same thing, so I know how it's supposed to taste. Charged us 5 dollars for Kraft Mac and cheese and didn't tell us that it wasn't a side and it was a kids entree. It was all gross, we waited for over an hour and a half for an uncooked steak, cheap Mac and cheese, and overcooked chicken. Disappointed is an understatement. read more

Love eating here. I always get the triple dipper because the southwestern egg rolls are to die for! A little spicy but not bad at all and I am sensitive to spicy foods. I also had the blood orange punch today, it is new, and it was DELICIOUS. Tastes like vacation. read more

This Chili's is a perfect representative cross section of every Chili's ever built, and I've eaten in a lot of them, including this one on Hanes Mall Blvd. Come to Chili's for high caloric meals whose ingredients are of such poor quality and unflavorful that Chili's feels it necessary to serve every dish with entirely too much salt and/or some kind of sauce. Why do we continue to ingest this crap and call it food? Perhaps you'd like the Chicken Ranch Sandwich? That'll be 1150 calories. Oh, you want fries with that? Add another 430 calories. To prove my point, the sandwich alone has over 2800 mg of sodium - thats 117% of your recommended daily intake, people. 1 star, only because it does taste oh so good, in a heart attack-inducing way. read more

The food was fine, exactly what I expect from this place. The service, however, is the reason for the 2 stars. When my mom and I arrived, we weren't greeted at all. There was a young man working very hard bussing tables, and everyone else was just standing around. I actually made eye contact with two members of the waitstaff, hoping one of them would seat us. I may as well have been on a different planet. I honestly can't stand restaurants like this, but I went because that's where my mom wanted to go. I'd prefer to never come back. read more

This is normally one of my favorite places to get a steak but something has changed. I should've turned around when I saw that they only scored a 90 in August but I stayed. Well it only seemed to get worse. My steak was over cooked and under seasoned so when I grabbed the salt and turned it over it was solid and not a grain came out of the shaker. My broccoli tasted like it had been boiled in dirty mop water. Very unpleasant food experience. read more

Nothing exciting about this Chilis- did not seem as "festive" as other Chilis we have been to in terms of the bar areas (no "happy" Christmas lights, SORELY lacking in TVs to watch the game). Our bartender had the personality of a wet dishrag. I normally enjoy their salads but this time the lettuce seemed less than fresh. You can't beat their margaritas though so that at least made me happy! The 2 for $20 deal was also good...just wish my salad had been better. read more

I decided to give this place a go again after getting food poisoning here years ago from the fajitas. I picked up my food and took it home for connivence. I entered to pickup and while some noticed me and called someone over to help me I still stood for about 7 minutes waiting to even be checked-out. When I got home the appetizer that I ordered was wrong so I put down the onion rings by myself since no one else likes them. They weren't anything special and the taste was mostly fried breading than onion. My entree was the chicken bacon quesadilla yet instead of being a whole one it was cut up into multiple tiny ones. The chicken was dry but luckily the bacon and cheese saved the floor. This Chili's just seems to always miss the mark with service, food quality, and presentation. You can get food priced for the same of higher quality in much better establishments so give this one a pass read more

For a chain, it isn't terrible. Let me also say, I only come here because it is close to work and we needed margaritas. We've come here twice now and it always seems we end up paying more than we are initially told, which is ok but annoying. The chips and dip are good and what we normally get to go with the margs. The place seems clean and some of the staff friendly. Just haven't a truly bad or good experience. I did learn that one presidente margarita will give me a buzz though. So that's a plus for my wallet. read more

Went to chilli's on Hanes Mill Rd today at around 2:30 pm. Service was terrible, they only had one or two waiters. Our waiter was run to death Took 2 hours to get a early dinner. Don't think I will be going back anytime soon. read more

Let me begin by saying I was deeply concerned about coming here based on the Yelp reviews. To my surprise, the service here surpassed my expectations. We arrived maybe 2 hours before closing, so I had mentally prepared myself for horrible service but our server (I believe her name was Amanda) was awesome! Every time I've been here they have been short of help and everything gets messed up / takes forever. Then the help they do have are on their phones or doing nothing. My chicken strips were chewy and the food was cold. I especially come here for the molten lava cake and got a mini one and it was frozen in the middle so we sent it back and the waitress brought a new one out and it was just as cold as the first one. read more

My Husband and I LOVE Chili's but this location, not so much! My "set-up" was missing a straw so, when our Server brought our drinks I asked for one and my Husband asked for ranch (for our chips). We finally got the ranch after waiting and asking a second time but, my straw didn't come until after our meal arrived and I asked another Server for it. Our food wasn't the best either. As a Rewards Member, I get free chips and salsa, each visit. Tonight, I think we got the "bottom of the bag" portion because ours were mostly broken and small pieces. Then, my Husband's soup came fairly quickly and I was told my salad was coming...and it did, with my meal. The meals that we ordered didn't arrive as they do at our "regular" restaurant. Easter holiday busy right. Server was alright giving us what we needed but the cook needs to get it together seen so many people leaving because the order wasn't coming out in time. Service could have been way way better. Definitely not what I expected from this chili's. Usually when I come there everything is always great. Today was just not their day. Ranch Dressing was warm and sour. Asked for a different one and the waitress brought another warm one. I think their ramekins were hot and instead of using her brain she kept grabbing hot ramekins. Pretty terrible service at this location, and this is a consistent experience. We waited 15 minutes to be seated, and then we were ignored for 20 minutes. This has happened several times at this location, and frankly I'm not someone who leaves bad reviews typically. 18+ of us showed up last night (Saturday). Girls softball team playing in a local tournament. Chili's was busy but no lines waiting to be seated (lucky). They promptly reserved two tables for us and we waited while a 3rd table became available. Once seated the two waitresses did an excellent job with orders and refilling drinks. Food arrived in reasonable time and all together. My daughter really liked the 4 mini cheeseburgers. I found the Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas excellent. My friend thought the steamed broccoli was to salty (probably was) but they don't use any salt at home. In all the waitresses did a great job taking care of our table, drinks were refilled, and paying with the checkout system(computer) at the table was nice. For chill's it all comes down to the people you have working and we had the best that night! read more

This is a terrible place to eat. First of all, they took long to seat us. Second of all, the floor was very dirty with litter on it especially near the bar. Thirdly, there was A ROACH at our table (not ON it but close enough, it was on the framed art at our table) and we were totally skeeved out. The food came out fast but it was not good; my salad had too much dressing (drenched) and my husbands quesadilla had undercooked, rubbery bacon in it. Neither of us finished our meal, though we paid the full $30 tab and tipped our waitress nicely. It wasn't her fault that we hated this place so much. I recommend that the restaurant really clean up the space and that you go find somewhere better to eat. Seriously, you can do better. read more

Man this has to be the worst service after a long day at work. When seated it took an hour for our food and when the food came out it was not what I ordered and we had to wait another 8 minutes for our waitress to come and give us the correct order. I highly do not suggest chili's at all but I do believe they can step it up and put a little bit more effort into their job instead of messing peoples days up. read more

I've been to this location twice in the past 2 months. First visit was around 3pm and the server took forever to greet us and even longer to get us drinks and food. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. Then last night I stopped for a late dinner around 9:30. Our food came out and we had to wait maybe 5 minutes for SOMEONE to bring us silverware. Server decided to pass out another tables food rather than drop off silverware so we could eat. Instead we stared at our food and started eating with our fingers, Cajun shrimp pasta. Finally another employee dropped off silverware and replaced tortillas that came out ripped and unusable to make a fajita. On the bright side, the food was good but the service always isn't the best. read more

Worst restaurant ever!!!! We walked in and they gave us a booth with the light burnt out, so we had to eat in the dark. Then we waited for 10 min and still no one had taken our drink order or even said hello. Finally, we asked the hostess if someone was going to wait on us. A waitress came over and said that she wasn't our waitress, but the waitress in our section didn't see us and so she was going to take care of us anyway (I don't know how the waitress couldn't see us because she went to the table across from us almost ten times in the time that we had been sitting there). Finally our food came out and we had both ordered burgers. Our burgers were cold and they both had the wrong toppings. Also we got french fries with our burgers and some of my fries were raw! Throughout the visit the waitress so was taking care of us wasn't even friendly or apologetic and only asked us once how everything was, yet checked on the table across the room about 15 times. Needless to say, I will never go back to that restaurant and I advise that you don't go either. read more

This is the best Chili's ever!! The staff is so kind and friendly, the food is AMAZING, and the service is fast! It was my friend's birthday and the staff sang to us, brought a skillet cookie out, and then brought out a signed card by all of the kitchen :) we are so thankful for this chili's! After a movie, we decided to go to Chili's near the Grand Theater. We hadn't been to Chili's in a very long time, so the menu was new to us. We were surprised and delighted to see so many Tex Mex options to choose from. My husband got the pick three option, with enchiladas and a tostada. He wishes he had known about the tableside guacamole, so we have to go back again soon just to try that. I got one of the lighter meals, margarita chicken with rice and beans. We were both delighted with our meals. But not only was the food a delightful surprise, the service and the ambiance was perfect. I didn't have to ask our server to refill my water glass, she just did it! Rare these days! She was very attentive and our meals came out of the kitchen just as we ordered them, with slight modifications and no mistakes. The restaurant was full and busy, but quiet enough that I could carry on a conversation across the table with my husband. Also rare these days. And paying the bill was quick and easy right at our table, no waiting and no mistakes. We are going back. read more

This one verges on the ridiculous. And I would never expect much from a Chili's but they manage fail with the bar set very low. First, I was one of 3 people at the bar yet the server kept her head down over the terminal for almost 10 minutes before acknowledging my presence. She was actually pleasant while interacting with me. Sadly, the interactions were far too infrequent. I ordered the chicken margarita - simple grill breast with rice and a side. The chicken arrived with in 5 minutes - at room temperature. It is not possible to cook a chicken breast to temperature and have it cool to room temperature in 5 minutes. It was pre-cooked - not kept below 40 degrees or above 140 before being brought to the table. The rice was just sad. The best on the plate was the steam broccoli - they actually got that right. I ordered a presidente margarita - served in a TINY cocktail glass full of ice. The shaker, also full of ice, was left as a sidecar. Tricky - I guess they figure no one will catch on that they are serving a rather smallish drink with a lot of ice but you get to pour another ounce out of the shaker so it must be a larger drink. Food - poor, probably unsafe. Drinks - cheap and misleading. Service - pleasant but to infrequent. They should be embarrassed. read more

I have always recieved excellent service they are always prompt and friendly. The orders have never been wrong and everything I have tried off the menue is great, but the country fried steak is my favorite and there is always enough to take some home for later!!!!I highly recommend the Hane Mill location!!! read more
