Chill grill is located in the little food truck parking lot across McDonald's in Hale'iwa. I was interested in trying out their chicken nachos. It was okay. Nothing special to remember about it. It tasted plain tbh. I also ordered the chicken quesadilla and the sliders. My kids said it was Eh! Nothing special. For that price, and the waiting time, I wish it some type of specialness to their food. But nothing special came out of it. I couldn't even find the name of the food truck in front of the food truck to check them out before I thought of eating there. Please improve on taste rather than quantity. This review is mostly from my husband. I took a few bites of his food, but he was really disappointed by his meal. He ordered a Garlic Butter Steak and Cold Brew. The cold brew had a bad aftertaste to him. The aftertaste was very unpleasant and lingered in his mouth. He ended up throwing most of it away. The Garlic Butter Steak plate was disappointing. The steak was not cooked well and had the taste of boiled meat as opposed to grilled meat. The meat was also pretty undercooked and he ended up eating around the raw meat. He also said that the meat was really oily. The rice was fine. The salad was generally just lettuce and tomatoes and there were bottles of dressing available for you to add dressing. The food here was absolutely DELICIOUS I got the Kahlúa pork slider, I added BBQ sauce as my topping... WOW, those are some of the best sliders I've ever had, the pork was delicious, the rolls they were on were soft and sweet and absorbed all the fat and juices of the pork and overall it was a stellar meal! We got there early and were first in line so there was plenty of seating and parking and with the lovely tree cover and hilarious chickens running around it was a lovely meal after visiting the temple. A generous portion of tuna bursting with flavor, two scoops of white rice, and a small garden salad with choice of three dressings. Went to the north shore with the family for lunch. Everyone was next door at another truck except me due to allergies. I saw this truck with a man grilling fresh food outside so it looked good. Had a few customers here and there. I ordered the chicken sliders( can't go wrong with someone actively barbecuing chicken ?) wrong! When I stepped up to order I noticed the flies in the truck: given it's an island sure but I should have stuck with my gut and cancelled the order. Also took way to long of a wait for what I got. We came upon this food truck while checking out the North Shore. First you have to pay 2 bucks to park your car. I think it's some type of tourist money squeeze. There were 5 food trucks including Giovanni's which was clearly the popular truck. Since we really don't care for shrimp we tried the Chill truck. The person taking the order was obviously not a happy camper. He said "we're not open yet" the other guy said we are the music is playing? Anyway we ordered. I ordered the pork plate and my wife ordered chicken tacos. Cost 36 bucks for both. It took about 20 minutes to receive our food. It wasn't worth the wait. To be nice I left a 9 dollar tip. Waited for 20 ish minutes and no food. Once the line completely went through I ordered a drink (jamba juice is better) and asked about the status of my meal and the lady told me that they didn't even cook it yet.
