The tomato soup was rich, smooth, and perfectly seasoned, but the real star of the meal was the grilled cheese sandwich -- hands down the best grilled cheese sandwich of my life. One note of caution, if you make a reservation for a Saturday night, specify that you don't want the booth right next to the live music. Very loud only being 4' away from the speakers. Chill is my favorite go to restaurant for a quick bite or big gathering. They have the friendliest staff, a creative food menu, and a chill atmosphere. My favorite is either the grass fed burger with goat cheese or the burrata salad with steak. I love that this place just opened a second location in Westborough! Um, yum! This place is fantastic. Not only is it easy to find and has plentiful parking, it's delicious. All the food we had tonight was wonderful, and the service was excellent. Standouts would be the Hot Mess Margarita, Crab Rangoon Dip, and the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich. The only thing I didn't like was the hot honey, it tasted as if someone had poured water into it and it wasn't very flavorful, it was like a weird liquid. I don't know if that was a mistake or intentional, but it's minor compared to the rest of the meal. My friend enjoyed her salmon and lobster risotto as well. The ambience is great. Chill was very chill when i stopped in for lunch mid afternoon midweek. we were pretty much the only ones there. We were seated and served very quickly. It has a very cute diner vibe. The women's room was Marilyn Monroe themed and it was clean. I was excited about the menu. There were a few options that i was excited to try. I had the buffalo chicken grilled cheese and a side of fries. My friend had a burger with steak fries. i was impressed with the steak fries. I really wanted this to be a positive experience. I wanted this to be a nice lunch, taking my mom out after she had a lovely time at the salon. I wanted her to have a nice afternoon and I wanted to like Chill. We were sat pretty quick as this was late lunch before any dinner rush and the restaurant had very few patrons. It seemed like a visually appealing well put together restaurant. We were greeted by our waiter and he was fine and this review is no reflection on him at all. We got a couple waters and first off the water glass had "stuff" crusted around the rim of the glass. Just...well ok these things happen and so I just pushed the glass aside. I ordered and ice tea and it was completely fine and my mom who just really enjoys a hot cup of coffee ordered a coffee. The drinks came out, the coffee cup was dirty, not just a little dirty but lip stains and a surface that was greasy and the coffee was cold and old. So, we had ordered the fried pickles and I get fried food but what came out was so covered in oil and really unpleasant- the aioli dipping sauce was the only thing with taste really. We spoke to the server and he spoke to the manager who was very professional and apologetic and reassured us this was not the standards of Chill although this was our first visit and I can only go off of what I experience. We had placed our meal orders but wanted to leave and cut out losses. The manager offered to cover my iced tea but I had drank half of it so left $5 for the tea which he said would go to the server who really tried his best. Now I get restaurants have moments and this could have been a one off but going out is expensive these days. If we had stayed and everything went well...the meal would have been been around $70 with tip. My expectations are "cleanliness in utensils and dishes" "food that tastes good" and "attentive kind service" and unfortunately they missed the mark on 2 out of 3 of these and so would I go back? there are so many other options in the area and I want my mom to have. good a experience as she can't get out much these days and I want to go somewhere I know she'll have a good meal and a good experience. Great neighborhood spot for a full service brunch hidden in a strip mall. We came in as a party of 4 and loved their menu variety -- definitely something for everyone including a vast array of cocktails (and even mocktails) to cater to every palette. We tried the crab cakes as a starter and then I opted for the lighter seafood salad as my brunch entree. Both were solid choices and my salad had a good serving of lump crab meat. On a separate occasion, I've also tried the crab cake sandwich but felt that it needed a little bit more oomph, maybe a tastier aioli sauce to give it a bit more of a kick. What a nice little hidden gem in a strip mall. We were at a local brewery in the same mall and decided we wanted something to eat. We got there around 8:45 and there wasn't anyone at the hostess table so we waited a bit longer than expected before a waitress saw us and did a great job of making up for the wait and sat us right away. She was also very friendly and took the time to explain menu and items she thought were the best. We started with the smother taters. A great version of tater tots. We ordered takeout after seeing all the great reviews, but unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to the hype. We ordered crab cakes, lobster Mac, short rib, carrot cake, & the chocolate mousse cake. The crab cakes tasted fishy and sour, like they weren't fresh. The lobster in the lobster mac was extremely tough, and the mac itself was dry and lacked flavor. The short rib was surprisingly dry and tough, and the gnocchi it came with was overcooked to the point of being pasty and gummy. I had hopes the desserts would help save the meal but they did not. The carrot cake was not homemade nor was it good. It tasted like a candle. The portion sizes were also on the smaller side, which might have been fine if the quality matched the price, but at $110 for three dishes and two slices of cake, it just didn't feel worth it. We weren't trying to be overly critical, but in a sea of glowing reviews we were honestly really let down. read more

Came to Chill on a Tuesday night with a long-time friend. We had lots to catch up on and never felt harassed by our server. This was not either of our first times there. We were hungry and everything on the menu seemed tempting. We wanted the veggie sandwich but they were out. So we shared the avocado toast and the fig, arugula, and goat cheese pizza. The avocado toast was described as being served on sourdough bread but also listed as Gluten Free. As someone who dabbles in GF eating on occasion, I decided I didn't care- especially since we had pizza as well. The bread definitely seemed gluten free and wasn't really toasted very much, but it was the least important item on the plate. The avocado smash with hard boiled eggs and slivers of raw red onion was very tasty. The pizza was also delicious and large enough that we both brought some home for another meal. My only complaint was that our eaters were never refilled and it was never offered. As a local establishment with lots of variety, I will return again. read more

Lets start first that this is a from scratch kitchen. This is always a priority for me. The 2nd priority is being able to accommodate my food allergies. They accommodated me beautifully. I had the haddock with broccoli and side beet salad. Delicious . My dad had a burger with thick cut fries that appeared to be cut directly from a russet potato. It looked delicious. I recently hosted a small gathering (10 people) on their patio and it was a great night. It was chilly but we sat outside and the heaters kept us as toasty as possible. Our server was cheerful (despite having to come outside solely for our party), professional, and helpful all without hovering. She was there when we needed her. The drinks were fun & tasty. The food was delicious, I particularly enjoyed the Buffalo cauliflower. I've also dined here with my family and found the service to be very good and the food delicious. Lunch is also great & is often a first choice. The menu changes seasonally which can be good and bad, as a favorite dish may not be available but you will definitely find a new love. The restaurant sits in an odd little strip mall area and looks can be deceiving. Chill is an upscale yet casual place to dine on a weekday night or for a special occasion. They also appear to have a pretty active bar scene. I suggest getting a reservation on busier nights because even on a Monday night the place was full. read more

Came on a rainy Friday afternoon, it was not crowded at all, it gave cozy vibes. Our server was nice and attentive, the food came out pipping hot with not much of a wait. The Mac and cheese was very hot and had good flavor, I had the left overs the next day and honestly thought it tasted even better. The buffalo chicken sandwich had shredded chicken instead of a breast which I believe held more of the buffalo sauce more. I took some of the buffalo chicken and mixed it in with my mac and cheese and I enjoyed the flavor combo. I could've added chicken/bacon/pulled pork for extra money but opted not to but adding some of the buffalo chicken changed the whole flavor palate of the mac and cheese. read more

If anything, it should be named Friendly's because of the warm and attentive staff, but I guess that name was already taken. ;) They are very accommodating of group size and needs. What happened to Chill's menu? I went the other night and ordered the crab cakes. it used to be one of my favorite places to get them. crispy and FULL of crab meat. Not anymore. They were mostly filler and hardly any crab meat at all. Soooooo disappointing. My friend had the garlic chicken and said it was overcooked. It will be awhile before I try it again. read more
