I've never eaten here before and was looking for somewhere in Marlborough to get some takeout for lunch. The menu looked great, so we ordered 2 Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese. They were awesome! Asked for two for dinner, and the young lady began to apologize and informed dinner ceased at 9:00, the gentlemen from behind the bar immediately instantaneously provided the Late menu for our pre you preview. I was a pleasant surprise. Atmosphere- Bar area had less than 10 patrons and the dinning room two couples. We were invited to choose our seat. I love not being forced into a tiny area so another can be closed. Decor - Nice size Booths, I like sitting two on one side! I loved them but also it is the only thing I think that keeps the place from having the utmost coziness. Very Clean. Restroom has auto on light! Food - We enjoyed flavorful meatballs with excellent home cooked sauce. And, the French Dip, tasted great with cooked to perfection HOT crispy fries. Red Sangria, a little too much ice, was a nice balance not sweet. Food arrived very quickly, no dilly dallying in the Kitchen like you see at the end of shifts. In addition to ordering these staple pieces, I ordered the Chef's Special Scallop Risotto with a Long Island Iced Tea. The drink was spot on! It was great! The waiting staff was amazing, very accommodating and helpful in my decision for food/beverage. The Mac and Cheese and Risotto were decent. The best part was that I could taste authenticity of the seafood without too many competing flavors. In general, the overall dish (including the sauces) were tasty, but I did have to add some salt and pepper to taste. Overall, the ambiance was great, the staff was wonderful, and the food was good. Just tried Chill for the first time, and everything was excellent, you can see that everyone from the hostess and server to the owners take pride in their work. We got the meatball appetizer, which was a small portion (2 meatballs) but was worth every penny. Although the restaurant is close to Route 20, the traffic didn't create a lot of noise, certainly not enough to disrupt our delightful dinner. He seemed to enjoy doing his job, which, in many restaurants, is not the case. I thoroughly enjoyed the salmon with a soy glaze, which was cooked to perfection. Came in with a reservation, and had too wait way behind what my party should have. A couple dishes came out cold with a couple hot, so didn't bother complaining then. First the calamari - awful - didn't taste fresh and the used the tip.of the squid instead of traditional rings. We sent it back. They served warm french rolls with dipping oil...very odd combo; they should invest in some homemade foccacia instead of par baked french rolls. They are very over priced - $24.95 for steak tips that looked like the beef cuts you would use for stew- that price didn't even include the 3 bite side Caesar they charged additional for. Weird mix of a menu - just a Mish mash of trying to upscale pub food. $14 for a 12" pizza and the crust is pre-made. Don't waste your time or money here...I am still recovering from the food two days later...let's just say the nachos didn't stay down! read more

The flavoring was good to save it (great sauce and good goat cheese). The scallop risotto was nice. The drinks: great raspberry bourbon sour; not so great red sangria. Pleasant relaxed dining experience. If you drink alcohol, suggest their awesome mimosas with brunch meal. The place is clean. Servers and bartenders are skilled, genuine and friendly. Top notch mixed drinks and creative food. You pay peanuts you get monkeys. So we wish we could come here more often. As many folks, we make hard choices for dining-out watching our budget. So, is this place expensive? Not really, nothing is overpriced when compared to the competition. However, we would recommend to management more specials on the menu to attract more locals like ourselves seeking value. Hint-Hint. Easy access off state route 20. Easy parking.
