This is a great little place right here in Carrollton! Forget about Sweet Basil in Lewisville - Chilli Thai is it! Traditional favorites like chicken or shrimp pad thai are delicious! Chicken curry is also pretty good. Their spring rolls and the sweet Chilli sauce are awesome and the sweet sticky rice with mango is perfection! Added to all of that goodness is that our order is always right and quickly prepared! We order from here so much that they recognize my husband by name! What more could you ask for? We received no warm greeting like everyone else did when they entered this establishment. Two other parties who sat down significantly later than us were served BEFORE we got our meals. Our server did not check on us but was quick to bring the check at the end of the meal. The food wasn't great either. The drunken noodles were excessively oily. Yuck. We always take out from here and it is always really good. The chicken pad ke mow with 3/5 spicy is just the right amount of spice. I always ask for chili sauce on the side with lemon to get add more flavor. The chicken lettuce wraps are average, nothing spectacular. Food is ok, but the service is awful, particularly on takeout. They rarely answer their phone so you can't call in the order ahead, and then when you go into the restaurant to order, you have to wait the 25 min for your food. When I came in tonight, there was a line of 6 groups waiting to be helped, and servers walked by for 10 min before acknowledging us. The size of the group waiting only got larger the longer I was there. All in all, it was a time-intensive experience that I won't be repeating. read more

We love this place and come here often. We have always ordered carry out so cannot speak to the dining in experience but our orders are always ready on time and the ladies up front are always pleasant. My BF always gets the pad see ew with chicken spice level 2, and I get the spicy red sauce or four seasons with chicken spice level 3. The spice level seems consistent each time we go. Veggies are always fresh, chicken is cooked well and tender. We highly recommend this place and have made this a weekly spot. read more

Super close to where I live, and consistently good every single time. I haven't had their food in a long while, but decided I wanted some Thai food today and called in a to go order. An order of samosas, Chili Thai Volcano for the hubs and Shrimp pad thai for me all for about $29. Nothing disappointed. The chili thai volcano wasn't what I expected. It's like this egg, seafood, curry mound, but ended up being really good. The pad thai is probably the best I've had in a long while. Stopped in for lunch. I had the drunkin Noodle, Thai ice tea and fried cheese cake This is some of the best Thai food I have had. The service was friendly, efficient and timely. Ugh I have mixed feelings about this place. The first time i came here for dinner i was ready to say it was the best Thai food in Carrollton. Their fried rice and red curry was amazing. However, I'm a little disappointed after getting take out from here a couple times. The sauce for their drunken noodles tasted a little weird and there was just very little of it. I had to put a ton of soy sauce in there to make the noodles not seem so dry. I'm going to try dining in again and hopefully I'll have a better experience but it just seems like the quality of their food has declined a bit. read more

We went to eat here for a family member's birthday. None of us had been here before, but it was selected for the birthday venue because Yelp said so. The restaurant is relatively small and the atmosphere is pretty low-key. The food was quite tasty. We got the chicken pad thai and curry fried rice with beef, and the flavors were great. They allow you to pick spice level of 1-5... if you are a no-to-little-spice person, definitely get the 1. Overall, good experience and yummy food. read more

This is my favorite Thai food place, and not just because it happens to be the closest to my house. I love the green coconut curry and pad woon sen. Tofu, chicken, and beef are all really good. My wife loves the Pad See Ew and yellow curry. The tempura veggies are great. I take my family here whenever they visit from out of town, everyone loves it. Food: The food was great and bursting with flavor. I ordered the curry flat noodles with the max spiciness (5 out of 5) and was not disappointed at all. I also sampled the chilli Thai volcano, which was very interesting (seafood, vegetables, and some coconut milk with some rice on the side) but a bit too small for a full entree. It is a bit on the expensive side for what the food is, so I'm docking off half a star. Service: This is where I take off a full star. They had one person generally showing patrons to their tables and bringing out the food. This resulted in a bottleneck for any requests (even for water). I also saw customers waiting for a good 10 minutes for a table that had been empty for ages but no one had the time to clean it. Saw this new restaurant while driving up Old Denton. Stopped by and ordered some take-out (it's too hot out to eat inside during this hot summer). I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and deliciousness of the food. We ordered original Pad Thai (very good) Lemon grass chicken and the corn fritters. All was very fresh and very tasty. Have been back a couple of times for take-out and ordered drunken noodles (loved them). Give this new place a shot, it is definately the best Thai place in Carrollton. read more

I've tried several other Thai places in the area, and none are as good as this. I generally get the Pad Thai, and my wife gets the Pad See Iew, they are both delicious! I can't speak to how authentic they are, just being a regular old white guy who orders the most basic of Thai food, but it's one of my favorite places.
