Fantastic Chinese food that never disappoints. We usually get it to go but they have ample seating and great service inside. We got the shrimp Lo-mein, chicken with vegetables, fried rice, and egg rolls. The portions are very generous so we usually share one order. The food is always fresh and delicious. We decided to give this place a try. Reading the reviews I was looking forward to nice people, great food. I like trying to places around my area, so I thought I'd give this place a shot. Had 4 star rating so I was actually expecting it to be a good hole in the wall place. I Got the orange chicken with rice 12.64$ and beef lo mein 10.50$. Pretty decent portions for the price, people at the desk were friendly. Took food home and it was still hot when I got home, once I started eating it though, there were parts of my rice that were cold aswell with the chicken. Taste overall was 4/10 rice and chicken was about 6/10. Unfortunately the fact that parts of my food were cold was a big no for me, most likely microwaved? I don't know exactly how some parts were extremely hot and other parts were cold. Very disappointing, and lo mein was alright I'll give it a 4/10 much better spots out there. I've been ordering here for a few years now. The foods always delicious, and the quality is great. My favorite plate is the Singapore Noodle. It has it all. Chicken, shrimp, and meat, along with some sautéed vegetables and their Singapore noodle sauce. I usually get a side order of wonton soup and some eggrolls to go with it. Great meal for up to two, or one hungry adult with a large appetite like me. The best part is, the food is ready for pick up in 10 minutes every time. read more

So glad I drove by here and was hungry so came in to get a house lo mien. It's delicious! One of the most flavorful lo mien I've had in a while. Too bad I don't live in the area but when I come back, I know where I'll eat at again. Outstanding service for take out, clean atmosphere, good business hours, reasonably priced. Egg rolls were delicious. Hot & sour soup was pretty spicy, spicier than most, but was good. The only thing I'd like to see improvement on is the main entrees of chicken with vegetables & chicken with cashew. Something the food was made with did not set well with us. The flavor was a little off and neither of us felt well. Perhaps oil or sauce. I really don't know. I hope some attention can be given to what and how good is being prepared along with some real taste test. I believe if this is done, restaurant will receive increased repeat business. read more

After ordering from China 9 for 17 years, we will find somewhere else. The General Tso's chicken was much smaller pieces and the sauce was watery and flavorless. The szechuan chicken was just ok. On our previous orders they included a container of sweet and sour sauce but we only got 2 packets of duck sauce.I wouldn't recommend it. read more

Came here and ordered shrimp fried rice and the shrimp were mushy like potatoes. It's obvious the seafood has been terribly mishandled. Rice also tastes old and not seasoned well. I was craving Chinese food and decided to make this my dinner spot. For starters the customer service is amazing. I left so happy after talking to the gentleman at the front desk. He was happy and helpful. The food was amazing I ordered the general Tso chicken and the sesame chicken. The portions were perfect and everything tasted amazing. It was ready to go in under 15 minutes. I also appreciated how covid safe the restaurant is and made the to go process easy! I was really surprised with this location. I'm a huge Chinese food person and wanted something "new". I had the House Special Mei Fun. I really really enjoyed it. I love noodle dishes so this was a win. Meats were cooked perfectly and not tough (shrimp was not chewy!). Rather large portions well. Egg rolls were nice and crispy! I'm going to make this one short and sweet. Tea: Taste like it was made from water imported from the Florida swamps. Sesame Chicken: Actually really good. Meat has just the right crisp. Fried Rice: Nothing short of horrible. For the sake of eating don't put the fried rice in your mouth. Egg Roll: Only eatable if you don't use your tongue. The service is lacking. The lady host comes off a bit rude. She wouldn't even use my yelp check in offer. The gentleman that brings your food is very courteous so one star goes for him. 2 for the Sesame Chicken. I have to assume that they are a husband and wife team. She needs a lesson in customer service. You buy we fry and prosper! read more

Love this place. I've lived around the corner for almost a year now, and my family goes here about once a week, sometimes more. The food is consistently good, no MSG, fresh, and makes me feel good. Based on our last experience, we decided to try them again. Big mistake! First of all, I tried to order a healthy tofu dish, even specifying that it not be fried. What did I end up with? Fried tofu and the batter surrounding the tofu was awful. Same thing with the sweet and sour chicken. Battered, fried lumps of chicken. The batter was really strange and thick. Nobody wanted to eat it, not even the kids. Seafood delight had big lumps of artificial crab. Nice. The flavor on the hot and sour soup was way off. They did better with the Mongolian beef, chicken chow mein, and shrimp and vegetables. But still, the dishes were just average. We ended up with tons of leftovers. I wonder why. read more

So I found this place through the app. This place is a small mom and pop Chinese restaurant in a shopping center. Don't let that fool you. I have a prior review of 888 Chinese restaurant where I rave about their sweet and sour soup. Well this place has them beat. The two soups taste exactly the same however this place's has way more veggies in it. Very hearty. I ordered the lunch tangy and spicy shrimp (see picture). The shrimp was pretty big. The dish had great flavor. And the lunch portion was definitely filling. What's more impressive was the speed of service. I was talking my third bite of soup when my entree arrived, steaming hot. The only negative thing I can say about this restaurant was that the only thing they had playing for music was Mariah Carey's Without You on repeat. Oh and don't let the Sriracha fool you. It's not real Sriracha. Great value! Lunch Tangy Spicy Shrimp that came with hot and sour soup and an egg roll and a fountain drink totaled $8.95!!! read more

Established in 2012.

Our main chef, Tom, begun as an aspiring novice chef with hopes of opening up his own restaurant someday. Beginning in 1994, he learned and gained further experiences to build towards his dream restaurant. For sure was not a smooth slope, after saving up for his first restaurant, he was offered one from a friend. Except this one did not come to a fruition. He came to realize his friend only sold him the place because business was not going well! Despite his efforts, he had to shut down the place. He then had to return back to working as a sub chef — through this he learned building a restaurant from scratch was what he truly dreams of. Finally, established in 2012, he achieved his goals after opening up China 9 Cafe !

When we walked in, the very first thing we saw was the fish tank with lots of bubbles and plastic fish. We loved it, and in fact, stood there for several minutes just staring at it... the perfect remedy for shopping until we were dropping. Once we got beyond that point, we discovered a small placed filled with a lovely peaceful ambiance that drew us in and made us want to stay and enjoy our food. The staff and service were excellent, especially when I ordered a pop that was 1/2 Coke and 1/2 Diet Coke. We ordered the Pork Fried Dumplings, Kung Pao Chicken, & Sesame Chicken. All of it was good and hard not to over eat. We like to come here between 2 and 4 pm on week days, when it's slow and we're typically the only ones there. It's well worth the stop with the food being excellent and the pricing being very affordable.
