You have not had good Asian cuisine until you've had China Blossom. My father n law has raved about this restaurant for a very long time and said he has came here for 20 plus years. I finally tried it a few years ago and it's all I can think about when visiting Massachusetts. We had it for the first time as take out and shared so many entrees. Every single dish was amazing. This time I actually got to try it in person. It is simply incredible. The prices are shockingly low considering they make everything fresh from scratch. In honor of my father n law we all came here for lunch after his service and they accommodated our group of 15 with ease. The food came out fresh and it was very delicious. They have excellent lunch deals. You can get a entree and rice or lo mein for $13. I got beef and broccoli and rice. I also ordered an appetizer of crab Rangoons and was shocked by how many you get. I certainly had lunch the next day with the huge portions. For the prices you would think it was a take-out place in the city but the restaurant is actually very beautiful and has traditional Asian cultured decor. read more

The Chinese lunch menu is great, though I was tempted to order a full entree as everything looked good. Would be 5 stars except there is no sushi at all available, something about the sushi chef retiring. The pork fried rice and egg roll were flavorful and good, though egg fu yung needed gravy, but maybe this is a west coast/Honolulu thing. The server was excellent, knowing the menu well, and was attentive without hovering. Great ambiance and airy and well kept up. Parking is easy in their huge lot. read more

This was the first chinese restaurant I ever went to (and perhaps about the only one in the area) back in the late 60s. Have been going off and on over the years; have enjoyed their buffet. After covid and when things were somewhat normal, I had wanted to do the buffet, but though years after shots/boosters were avaialble, the buffet was available. They were seeking 2 people to run the buffets. Finally, this year, when I called (after calling for a number of years ever few months), the buffet was opened again and I went there about 4 months or so go this year - 2025. Had been wanting to go back so went with a friend and told him how it was a good buffet. Well it was certainly disappointing this time and he felt the same. 1.) Thought they had only been opened for about 15 mins for the lunch buffet when we got there, some of the food was luke warm. 2.) They only had plan Lo Mein - usually they had a vegetable Lo Mein - there is nothing worse than just plan noodles.... 3.) The regular standard egg rolls did not have the expected inside items, but it had what appeared to be ground pork or chicken with just cabbage it seemed. 4.) The General Tso or Gaus chicken was swimming in a thin sauce. 5.) There were pork strips and pork ribs. The ribs were over cooked and dry - and not even worth trying to eat. 6.) The beef usually on a stick wasn't avaialble, but there was chicken teriaki - which is very diff in flavor than the beef. The chicken was dried out. 7.) They used to have like green beans or more vegetables so you could pretend you were eating healthy to some extent - no such thing now. Will stop my list here. So, of course, the price has gone up over the years - the lunch buffet with a drink and tip ran about $40ish. The server, a man, was very nice and attentive. They will be undergoing renovations from what the sign said and we got more info from the waiter. I think I have to find another place for a Chinese Buffet - I usually don't like buffets, but some places do have decent ones - you just have to search them out, whether Chinese or other types of food. :-( read more

Just ordered takeout from here. Chicken fingers were dry, tasteless and seemed old. The rice had an odd smell and no taste, boneless spareribs were also not good, weird smell . I didn't have the lo mein, but was told it wasn't that bad. 53 dollar lesson learned. I will never order from this place again. read more

I really wanted to like this place given how popular it is within the town. However, I now realize that the spices are really toned down here to fit the neighborhood palette. The food overall was fresh however, it was not at all spicy and had very plain flavors. There are no distinct flavors for each of the dishes. In fact, they tasted very similar to one another. The place was very big inside.. Ordered the buffet as I figured I could get variety. I didn't realize price until check came. Cost me almost $40 for buffet and a soda. Extremely expensive. Ordered take out combination plate. General Jor chicken was overcooked and tough to chew. Chicken fingers were greasy and overcooked. However, the worst was the pork fried rice. I detected an odor from the rice and as I smelled it closer, something in the rice was rotten. Maybe it was the pork in the rice , maybe not. The result was that the meal was tainted and I was afraid to eat it, not even to pick around the parts of the dish that I could chew. All this for $16.05. Never again. What really upsets me is that in October, I brought my friends visiting from Florida to the buffet not once but twice. We spent over $150.00 in your restaurant and the food was very good. So what gives? I'm starting to believe that take out customers get the leftovers and the old food that can't be displayed at the buffet? I'm sure no one will reply to this complaint. Great location with a ton of parking! We were greeted by a friendly host the moment we walked in. Unfortunately we were informed there were no buffet style, but we still decided to dine in and order off the regular menu. Great decision. We started off with their Mai Tai's and boy were they good! Can't go wrong with their signature Mai Tai or vodka Mai Tai. The place was pretty empty and service was quick on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Upon ordering, our server was really rushed and unfocused. When our food came out one of our plates were incorrect, but it was no big deal. He checked up on us a couple times to ensure everything was okay. Overall, we had good service from our server as he was really attentive. A nice elderly woman who we saw at the front, stopped by our table to make sure everything was okay. Super friendly and welcoming- maybe the owner? Great touch to our experience. It's nice to see leaderships faces from time to time. The food came in great portions and our combo plates were pretty flavorful. One thing I didn't like was the crab ragoons, I had high hopes for this but I guess everything can't be perfect! 5 stars coming from a Chinese American myself :) keep it up! read more

We arrived at 1:30, wanting to have the lunch buffet. Although the server and hostess had a very accommodating attitude, the appearance of the food was very disappointing. The small portion of rice that was left in the container looked dry. The rest of the items had been picked through and were stale. I was visiting from out of state for a special occasion that was held at China Blossom, and it was a totally positive experience. The restaurant itself is spacious and beautifully decorated with several dining areas that allowed for privacy and a large bar area where a small group could comfortably mingle. We had the buffet and enjoyed everything from the crab legs to the ice cream. My only regret is that I never made it to the prime rib because others in my group said it was the best they've had. The buffet had so many delicious offerings, but I was full before I got to it. Lorraine was our server, and she did an excellent job of keeping our drinks refilled and even remembering our names. China Blossom also offers Comedy Nights which sounds fun too. I highly recommend this restaurant for an all-around excellent experience. read more

If you're jonesing for that authentic, classic, Americanized Chinese food and you want it freshly made and fast, China Blossom is great. Tonight I ordered a PuPu Platter and Young Chow Fried Rice which is their house fried rice. I ordered at 7:05pm and it got here at 7:34pm. I'm about 10 miles away and I'm guessing that Sunday night must be a busy time. The Beef Teriyaki was tender. There's too much breading on the chicken fingers and fried shrimp but that seems to be the way they get prepared at pretty much every Chinese restaurant. All the food was delicious and none of it was overly greasy. I've ordered from China Blossom 3 or 4 times over the past year and every time it's been hot and fresh and has gotten here super fast. The Egg Foo Young is really good. It might need salt but a little soy sauce does the trick. I request no sauce/gravy. I strongly suggest avoiding the sauce/gravy. The food is consistently mid grade. Not bad not great. We get take out generally rarely done in.

My wife's family has a long history with this place. Her grandparents always came here as it was one of the few strong stalwarts serving Asian food back in the day. Most people used to come here for the buffet or comedy pre covid, but you will be happy with a regular old fashioned lunch or dinner. The owner and wait stuff are amazing, kind, and attentive. We recently went after a funeral and they have a nice back room for our large party. As an americanized chinese place, the crab rangoon is a must. I also enjoyed some of the beef dishes, spicy string beans (not actually spicy), and surprisingly some of the sushi combo platters. Parking lot is massive. Super massive. Makes me wonder if they use the space for outdoor events or if they should look into it. read more

This is my favorite Chinese food place in the area. The buffet is amazing. Has many different chinese dishes as well as duck and prime rib. They have the best quality chinese chicken fingers with a flakey light breading. The sauces on their veggie plates is so yummy too. We've eaten here a few times and usually order from the menu. The food has always been delicious. This past Sunday we couldn't decide what to order so we all decided to have the buffet. I'm so glad we decided to do that. The food is very good and the chefs were constantly refilling the stations. Tonight they had king crab legs and there's also prime rib, Peking duck, and freshly prepared sushi aside from their delicious crab rangoons and other typical Chinese entrees. The buffet was about $20 for adults and $15 for kids. Everything was so good but unfortunately I couldn't eat everything I wanted too lol. The kids also enjoyed their meal and they like how they can go by n choose what they like. The kids n the old man choose ice cream and jello for dessert while I opted for some pineapples. They had some cakes and cookies there as well. The waiters were quick to refill drinks and remove plates and the facility is kept very clean. It was fairly quiet in the dining room. There were some people who sat and ate at the bar. BTW we had the Wild Orchid-watch out! It creeps up on you but this drink is really good. Anyway, I highly recommend this place.
