We decided to use the China Bros restaurant for a catered event. A friend had used them before and the food was great. We needed to feed about 30-35 people and on their catering menu there was a perfect package. Benny the owner was great. He offered suggestions and tips for our event. He even added a few extras as we were loyal customers. We set up the food in chaffing dishes and it displayed very nicely. Everyone loved it. Sweet & Sour Chicken, kung Pao Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, combination fried rice, and chow mein. It was great. We totally over ordered. We could have reduced our order by 50%. But now we have amazing left overs for the next few days. Michael C. - Georgetown, Tx.

I enjoyed my food and overall experience here. Customer service is excellent, the food is cooked fresh, and the dining area is spotless and bright. The lunch special is great value for the price and the juicy pork dumplings are so good I see that they have dedicated veggie dishes, which I will have to try next time. Highly recommend!

They have a cool ambiance. Spacey so not crowded tables.

This city has developed into a very respectable, well planned bedroom community and offers many options for dining out. Unfortunately, most are big chain restaurants. Finding a really delicious, authentic, family-run Chinese cafe was not something I had anticipated, but here it is! This is in a small storefront location. They have been in business for nearly 8 years. Looking at it from the aspect of a Yelp average star rating, I had not been that impressed, but then, looking at their most recent reviews and prolific menu, I had to rethink my first impressions. The non-cookie cutter menu and very extensive offerings gave me clues. I decided a visit would help answer questions on how such a tiny place could support such a huge menu. We settled on 3 dishes. It was really hard with so many options. Pork Feet with Pickled Pepper, a non-conventional dish, turned out to be fabulous with its spicy jalapeños, orange peppers, fresh ginger, and garlic. Any Filipino, which coincidently includes my husband, knows that pigs' feet can be a real delicacy when done right. Expect a lot of bone (of course), but the tendon and meat were soft and brimming with flavor. I usually resist eating anything with hot peppers, but the spicy heat disappeared fairly quickly and left only the sensational taste of the other mouth-watering aromatics. This was a very oily dish, but that is also what made the sauce so darn good. Fish Filet with Black Bean Sauce. Rather than order a full order a la carte, I went with a lunch portion, aka Lunch #16. Lunch includes a small cup of soup (today's was a delicious, thickened egg flower soup with corn), a vegetable-filled eggroll, and cup of steamed rice. I loved the corn soup and did not expect the crispy eggroll to be as good as it actually was. Eggroll is usually a poorly executed, space holder on mediocre, fast food lunch plates. This one was freshly cooked and really good. The entree, tender, unbattered chunks of white fish, was nicely prepared with bell pepper, onion, garlic, and fermented black bean. It made me very happy. Chow Fun with Beef. Delicious! The thinly sliced beef was very tender, and had that delicate, smokey wok hay flavor I love. I would not hesitate to recommend it. If I had one wish, it would be for them to use less oil in their cooking. The flavors were delicious but too rich. I'm sure they could accommodate my preference and still have a dish with a great outcome. And to sort of answer my question about how they handle such an extensive menu, the kitchen was commandeered by a single, hard working chef this particular day. I am in awe. I have no qualms about returning. This is a great alternative to driving into LA and Orange County to find great, non-Americanized Chinese food. Just don't come between 3 and 4 pm, because they give themselves a lunch break. FYI, I asked before we left if they stay open for the holidays, like Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years. The server said yes. I am excitedly bookmarking this place for the future and hoping this is accurate.

Everything was really good. It was refreshing to find a place this close to home that actually hit the spot--even my parents thought it was good, which says a lot. We usually end up driving out to Rowland Heights for Chinese food, so having something like this down the street in Corona is nice. The pan fried shao mai was probably the surprise favorite for me since I've never had it prepared that way before. The xiao long bao wrapper was a little thicker than what I'm used to, but it was still good. Honestly, nothing we ordered disappointed. Food came out pretty quickly too, so even though there's usually a line, it moves faster than you'd expect.

I didn't even bother to write a review at that time, but had submitted five photos, some good, others not, that told the tale. So this time, with some trepidation, we gave them a second chance. Glad we did. This time was different. Two dishes, the black bean ribs and the salt & pepper pork chops, turned out great. Not only did they have good flavor, both dishes were quite generous and meaty. And if we had stopped ordering right there, I wouldn't have had any reason to drop a star. It was the dim sum that almost ruined it. The siu mai (8 pcs) were small and oddly fishy tasting, lacking the traditional aromatics. One bite and I knew there was no way I would continue eating them. No reason to bring them home either. Was I willing to just throw away my $13? No. Disappointed, I bravely told the server, and then, the manager. I got a "deer in the headlights" response, followed with a "what's wrong with it" query. Awkward moment. But, minutes later, the server returned from the back kitchen, and the most miraculous, unexpected thing happened. She said they would take it off my bill! Honestly, I was not expecting any resolution. But in wisely doing this, they frankly rescued the situation and my attitude. I respected that one gracious gesture. So, while the siu mai will still never be anything I order here, there is a vast menu to explore, and a few dishes I already know will not let me down. Two of these were from our first time, the char siu baos and the shrimp with scrambled egg. These were good. That said, this is a decent business that proved they wanted my business. We will come back.

We immediately reported the issue to the staff. The manager on duty, Rufonso, came over but did not first apologize sincerely or check whether my child was okay. Instead, he simply handed us a free drink coupon and said that was all he could offer. We explained that we did not want a free drink coupon and asked if there could be a discount or another form of compensation for the affected meal. Rufonso told us our only options were either the drink coupon or replacing the meal. When I said we did not want the drink coupon because we do not often drink those beverages, he said there was nothing else he could do. He then took the drink coupon back and walked away with a very poor attitude. Honestly, this was the first time I have experienced such unprofessional and dismissive behavior from a manager. I have visited different Ten Ren locations before, and I have also eaten at this location several times during lunch. I have never experienced anything like this. Later, after they saw me taking photos of the food and the foreign object, they sent a trainee over to tell us they were willing to void the affected meal. While I appreciate that the meal was eventually voided, it honestly felt like this decision was only made after they noticed I was documenting the issue. The most concerning part is that this foreign object was found in my child's food. What if my child had accidentally eaten it? Food safety should be taken seriously, especially when children are involved. On top of that, the free drink coupon they initially offered had an expiration date written on it, which made the whole situation feel even more careless and unprofessional. I hope Ten Ren will take this matter seriously, review its food safety procedures, and provide better training for managers on how to handle customer concerns with professionalism and respect.
