Delicious drinks, super clean place, plenty of parking & INCREDIBLE STAFF. We tried the Strawberry Mango Teazer (75% sweetness with boba), the Grapefruit Teazer (0% sugar with sea salt panna cotta), and the Mango Black Tea (25% sweetness with crystal boba). All three were really good. The grapefruit was especially refreshing, and the sea salt panna cotta added just the right amount of sweetness and a creamy texture that balanced it perfectly. The mango black tea at 25% sweetness was refreshing and just sweet enough--I would definitely order it again. What really stood out, though, was the service. Our server (I wish I remembered his name!! Jared or Jake?) had a name tag that said "in training," but you never would have guessed it. He knew the menu inside and out, he was so stoked to let us know about all the possible combinations and he patiently answered all of our questions, and helped us figure out the best drink. Tonight, we brought our children to Ten Ren for dinner. My child ordered the curry pork chop rice, and while eating, we found an unknown ribbon/plastic-like strip inside the curry. We immediately reported the issue to the staff. The manager on duty, Rufonso, came over but did not first apologize sincerely or check whether my child was okay. Instead, he simply handed us a free drink coupon and said that was all he could offer. We explained that we did not want a free drink coupon and asked if there could be a discount or another form of compensation for the affected meal. Rufonso told us our only options were either the drink coupon or replacing the meal. When I said we did not want the drink coupon because we do not often drink those beverages, he said there was nothing else he could do. He then took the drink coupon back and walked away with a very poor attitude. Honestly, this was the first time I have experienced such unprofessional and dismissive behavior from a manager. I have visited different Ten Ren locations before, and I have also eaten at this location several times during lunch. I have never experienced anything like this. Later, after they saw me taking photos of the food and the foreign object, they sent a trainee over to tell us they were willing to void the affected meal. While I appreciate that the meal was eventually voided, it honestly felt like this decision was only made after they noticed I was documenting the issue. The most concerning part is that this foreign object was found in my child's food. What if my child had accidentally eaten it? Food safety should be taken seriously, especially when children are involved. On top of that, the free drink coupon they initially offered had an expiration date written on it, which made the whole situation feel even more careless and unprofessional. I hope Ten Ren will take this matter seriously, review its food safety procedures, and provide better training for managers on how to handle customer concerns with professionalism and respect. read more

There used to be a Green Shaker in the SGV that my family loved going to and were regulars at. We were so sad when it closed abruptly last year. My daughter found this location when we were looking for places to eat around Corona. I was excited and looking forward to eating here. When we walked in, it took some time for anyone to acknowledge us. Finally when we were told to choose a table and were brought menus I thought the service would improve, but sadly it only got worse. There were three other tables besides ours, two of them hadn't placed their orders yet. The waitress took the orders for those tables, brought food for the third table, went and got waters for the first two tables, then the drinks they ordered, then their food, and then finally came back to take our order!?! We sat and watched all this for maybe 20 minutes before she came back to our table. The staffing wasn't her fault, but she should've taken our order at least after those two other tables or after giving them drinks. I was really disappointed by the service, but the food and drinks were still good and consistent with what we got from the location we used to frequent. The restaurant is not big, maybe around 8-10 tables. Could be a bit cleaner, but otherwise similar to a fast casual restaurant. We've returned once since this visit and the service was better but it still took a long time to be acknowledged when we first walked in. I would probably come back again because I enjoy their food and drinks, but wouldn't recommend this particular location until their service improves. read more

Today really disappointed me most when I find the meat is not as it was before. Meat is stringy and flavor has gone down. Sauce is almost non existent and rice portion is smaller. They brought it out on a big plate, so everything looked very nice as well. It ended up being too much that I had to to-go it back. Totally worth the deal. The Biscoff Earl Grey comes with Biscoff crumbles and caramel drizzle around the cup. It's a lot sweeter than how I'd normally like it, but it was so good I caved into my sugar cravings that day. Highly recommend trying this drink if you like something with sweet crumbles and boba in it. Food: I enjoy their teas a lot. I don't often get their food. Oolong or green tea can't go wrong. $4.25 for their normal size. And $5 for the large. Boba is another $0.5. Pretty standard prices.
