This place is a little above average Chinese buffet. I was quick to be seated, and quick to get my drink that was ordered at the same time. During lunch it wasn't too crowded. The assortment of foods was abundant with a hot and cold station. It also had a fried station with some American foods as well(pizza, fries, chicken wings, etc). There were some desserts, sushi, and even ice cream. I had the chicken and broccoli which was hot, fried rice, some egg rolls, and wonton soup. This buffet is far from the best I've ever been to but is also far from the worst. Any Chinese buffet I've been to that I really loved was crazy expensive but with this place you are getting what you pay for which should be expected. Obviously if you go to an expensive restaurant you were going to have great food if you go somewhere that is cheaper the food's going to be lower quality. I personally feel that you get a little more than what you pay for because the food is not awful. They have their good dishesand they have their bad but that is just like any other place. The waiters and waitresses are all very nice which is a plus. I for one am a huge fan of Chinese buffets and having this one right across the street from us means that we go there pretty often overall I would say yes I will be a returning customer read more

There is more in my empty fridge than on this buffet!!! Later in the evening on Sunday night we stopped by for a late dinner...pans were empty and the little bit that was scraped over looked like lunchtime leftovers. We should've gone down the street to Angkor...but...it was late.... and we tolerated it. When I mentioned to the cashier that the buffet was empty... She was just plain nasty and said that what did I want...it was almost closing time. She hastily took $27 for the lousy food and service. I got food poisoning and they charged my card while I was there and charged it again after I left. went back to get it corrected and they came out with a receipt signed by someone else and tried to tell me that it was my signature. Usually my experiences here are good. However, this time the very opposite. We called ahead of time asking if they had sushi also what kinds they said yes many kinds. So we made the trip. Turns out they only had one type and it was sitting out for hours definitely. So that was 2 out of our 5 adults who didn't want to eat bc they were anticipating sushi. I had asked for 2 highchairs. Took my baby out of one and they kept trying to take it..mind you its 8pm there's a bunch of empty highchairs seats so they didnt need the one we were using. We've been going there since we were young, ALWAYS paid after eating at the register. This time, as i am counting my money she is hovering over me while I'm still eating. I said as soon as I'm done, I will pay. So then she comes back again and asked if I'm going to pay. I said listen ma'am, unless something has changed since my last visit, we pay at the register. She said okay. So to me that means nothing has changed. She does it again so at this time I get angry and I say i got it wasn't even done eating yet but now I am upset I am going to pay and leave and you are not getting a tip because you hovered over me and rush me and you're still open until 9:30. read more

My husband loves this place and he is a picky eater. We have patronized this buffet for over twenty years and have taken several friends and family ( at all times of the day) as guests during this time. All have agreed with us that this is one of the best- if not the best- china buffets. The food and service has never disappointed. While there may have been some dishes that were not favored due to personal preference, the wide variety of excellent offerings more than compensates, giving the diner plenty to enjoy. It took me years to try this place out because I'm not a fan of buffets. My sister and I ventured here one afternoon a few years ago and we absolutely love it. If I had to pick a favorite item on the menu, that would be difficult. But, I would say that my #1 choice is the Singapore Mei Fun Noodles (rice noodles). I love adding the Pepper Steak and Onions to it. I cannot find noodles like this anywhere else and I've even placed take-out orders after dining in because I want leftovers to reheat late at night or the next day. There is a very good variety of food here and well worth the price. The food is well cooked and kept fresh. The staff is friendly and I've gotten to know them over the years. This is my go to for Chinese food. Recently, I went to a Chinese restaurant (not a buffet) and was charged $17.50 for two quarts of beef fried rice. That was all I ordered. For my money, I'll stick with China Buffet King where I pay half the price, for all you can eat. read more

Traditional chineese buffet. Food was hot, fresh and tasty. Lots of varieties. The staff was friendly and attentive on the drink refills. The decor is a bit dated but it is clean. The staff was continually wiping down areas and changing out the food with fresh offerings. I will definetely come back when I am in tje Pittsburgh area. read more

Came here with my boyfriend because there were decent reviews and members talked about how good the sushi was.... There were only two types of sushi and no soy sauce to be found anywhere in the restaurant. The place smelled awful and the bathroom resembled a sewer. The food tasted like river water, and any dish that contained dairy basically smelled and tasted like vomit. Not an expensive place, but for how much the buffet cost definitely not worth it. I would rather never come here ever again. Came her many times before and they had a server that was really nice and every time I finished my food that would take my plates. But now she left and I come here often and this place is get ridiculous and server are getting more retarded. For example now the servers don't ask to refill my drink anymore and you might say if you want a refill you should ask them but it is not my job to ask them but its their job and they are the ones getting paid to do the task. Also they stopped taking our used plates it just sits in the table and no one collects them. The seats are dirty and the building is really old. This restaurant is by far the worst buffet I have ever been to. The lady who owns the place couldn't be any more horrible to the customers. Half of the buffet bins were empty and don't even think about the crab legs. Absolutely the worst crab legs ever. How do you screw up crab legs you ask? They tasted like they sat in salt water for 2 weeks. The crabs were mushy and salty. And the only time they brought out the crab legs is when I asked them to. Which of course they got pissy about. When I asked them to fill the pineapple chicken...someone stormed into the back...came out with chicken nuggets...threw them in the empty pineapple chicken tray that did still have some of the sauce left in it.....then she went over to the salad bar and grabbed a handful of pineapple and threw it in the pineapple chicken container.....I couldn't believe my eyes. My family and I love this place and usually never have any problems. But on a recent visit, about 10 minutes into sitting down with our plates, the power went out. It was clear that the staff really had no idea how to handle this, but they did try their best to bring light into the building (lighting candles, opening blinds, etc.) They hung a few lanterns by the actual buffet so that patrons could continue to serve themselves, but the area was still generally pretty dark. When it appeared that the power wasn't coming back on any time soon, a lot of the patrons started to leave. Having been their with an elderly parent and a small child, trying to guide them and help them with their plates in the dark was not something that I wanted to do. I assumed (naively, perhaps) that the owners would at least take something off of our bill, seeing as how we only made one trip to the buffet. I was disappointed however, to see that we were charged full price. Perhaps if we would have complained instead of assuring them that it wasn't their fault, they would have appeased us. But that wasn't the case. We will probably return because we do enjoy the food. I was however, HIGHLY unhappy with having to pay full price for being in the place for about 15-20 minutes. read more

I would give ZERO STARS if I could. This establishment's food has been going down hill for the last year. The bathrooms are filthy. The food is terrible. There are very few customers in there when we go. The food is dried out because of low turnover. TODAY we got there for lunch. There were signs on entrees that said "FOR DINNER ONLY" - so we didnt eat any of those. When our bill came, we were charged for ALL dinners. My husband went up to ask about the bill. The guy at the cash register pretended he could not speak English and said OH NO those signs for workers not for customer. You eat dinner. My husband argued with the man but he would not relent. My husband told him we will never come back even though it is close to our home. We will drive to one further away that has clean restrooms and fresh food. Really sorry it came to this. It was a good place to go for Chinese buffet. It isnt anymore. Try Phong May house down the street - not a buffet but good quality food. read more
