This is by far some of the best Chinese food around. On par with rising sun in Mokena and Liangs for the Chinese takeout lovers out there. Always order the chicken fried rice which is top two I've had in Chicagoland. Mongolian beef is good. Garlic chicken delicious. We've had the Orange chicken as well - good but I recommend ordering with light sauce. You do have to pay extra for jasmine rice which would be my only complaint but not worth knocking off a star. I typically order this on Uber eats and they have never messed up a takeout order. Highly recommend. read more

I am so happy to see this place open up. We have needed a decent Chinese take out/delivery for the longest. I used to go to the location on Weber before it closed. The food is just as delicious as I remembered it. So far, I've had the bbq ribs, Mongolian beef, spicy chicken wings, orange chicken, Mongolian mussels and pepper steak. I think the pepper steak is definitely my favorite. The chicken fried rice was very light and tasty and I did enjoy the egg rolls as well. They get a four because the rice is sold separately from the entree. Never heard of that before so remember to say you want rice or fried rice with your meal. White rice additional $1 and brown $2. China China restaurant more like no thank you I don't like your food restaurant. I had chicken fried rice and my girlfriend had God knows what probably veggie fried. I'm not gonna sit here and tell you I didn't eat my food I'm sure as hell I did, but I've definitely had a much better fried rice. The overall atmosphere was somewhere between insane asylum and a car wash but the car wash is located in Chernobyl. I don't remember the place being particularly a good deal either, in fact for Chinese food I believe it was quite expensive maybe 20 bucks for our small meal. First of all, let me start off by saying I never wanted anything FREE or my meal compensated. I wouldn't even give them one star but I had to put in something. I spent almost $46 and I just wanted to have my question answered. Why was there green pepper in my Mongolain Beef?!? I called to talk to the manager and the man was insanely rude and kept speaking over me. I ordered Mongolian Beef with no green onions, just white onions. What did I receive? Almost 1/2 the container container green pepper. When did they add this to the menu? I've ordered Mongolain Beef before and NEVER was green pepper in the dish. The man was so rude, kept speaking over me and then tells me not to call again. Beyond RUDE and ignorant. So much for customer service coming from the DUMP of a restaurant. Worst Chinese food I have ever had! I have eaten a lot of crab Rangoon in my life and whatever it was that came tonight, did NOT taste like the real thing! The orange chicken was so overcooked it was hard, the "sweet and sour shrimp" was literally just some crappy fried shrimp and sweet and sour sauce. That's it. It was terrible. We ordered from GH. The food arrived quite hot and it was good. For the price it was quite a bit of food, I was impressed. The Mongolian beef is a bit different but uniquely good (Szechuan peppercorn type spice). When you ask for spicy they definitely deliver! Sesame chicken, fried rice, fried shrimp were all good. The wontons (different preparation) and the crab rangoons (not sweet) were also good. We will be a return customers. read more

Food was as expected, and warm. However, my issue was with the driver. Got a call from the driver he was at my home. When I opened the door he wasn't there. I waited another minute and called him back to say I thought he was at the wrong place. He then proceeded to tell me I had entered the address wrong and that he now has to look up the right place. He actually hung up on me. When he finally made it, he told me it was his bosses fault and that he had already "cussed him out" for it. I told him I didn't appreciate him hanging up on me, to which he replied "I'm not really worried about all that". He then proceeded to mutter under his breath to me. I wasn't able to make out everything he said, but there were more than a few foul words. Grub hub did refund the tip after this. I also spoke to the restaurant manager directly who was "sorry" but told me that this delivery person was having "family problems". I can appreciate that, however, to come to my home and then proceed to insult me was totally uncalled for. Will not be using this restaurant again, and would recommend thinking twice before ordering from them. Their driver is a loose cannon and made me feel unsafe at my own house. The manager I spoke to seemed more interested in making excuses for his behavior than hearing what I had to say. Attached is the restaurants response to the review on Grub Hub. We ordered take out for the first time and the food is very good. Even my wife who is picky as he'll liked her order. We got more than enough food for the price. I really liked this place when I first tried it. Somehow down the road I have been turned off to them and don't think this will be one of my go to spots anymore. Initially the taste of the rice, speed of service, and friendly delivery man won me over. The past few times I have ordered, I have just become less satisfied. Their rice is good, ill give them that, but the soups are just TERRIBLE. Ordered hot and sour soup and it had a strange flavor and slimy texture. Then ordered egg drop soup and it was a complete gelatinous mess! Tasted like straight goo (or cornstarch). It's really a shame because they give you a large portion and I had to throw it away because I couldn't stomach it. The quality of the chicken has also seemed to decrease becoming more "skeptical" in texture. Almost similar to overcooked pork. The orange chicken was also not very good at all. soggy and not crisp and flavorful like you would hope for. I threw most of it away. Their beef and vegetable dish is OK. Crab rangoons were good but not served with any sauce like most other restaurants. Pot stickers are average. They also do not do substitutions in lunch specials like other restaurants in the area so they force you to buy items individual if you'd like a switch in sides. There is only one size of items such as fried rice offered which is terrible if you are just ordering for 1-2 people. It's costly and way too much food that ends up wasted. I've never been to a place that doesn't offer a small size of rice. You are also encouraged to order online however the prices are higher that way which I feel is misleading to the customer. The order is usually accurate however and the delivery person is incredibly friendly. I really wanted this to be my spot but there are too many more accommodating places in the area and this place is missing the mark. read more

Extremely rude and irate woman at the counter. She yelled at me to get out because I asked where the name on the order was. It was on the inside of the bag so was a little confused. I apologized because she seemed really irritated with me but she then grabbed the bag back really fast and yelled at me to get out. I was in shock and tried to apologize again but she yelled at me again to get out. I will never again step foot in that cold unfriendly place again. No customer deserves that treatment. I have no idea how they have any good reviews. Maybe she just did not like me but I am a very quiet nice person. The woman had me in tears by time I got back to my car. There are plenty of great Chinese food restaurants to go to in Joliet. I do not recommend them based on their extremely rude and hateful service.
