Just a takeout spot, so nothing fancy to look at, but the service is pretty quick and very friendly. They don't have online ordering, so you have to call in. Vegetables are always fresh. Went there the other night for pickup. I ordered over the phone and drove there to pick it up. I ordered beef and broccoli & chicken with Chinese vegetables. The staff where friendly and social distancing was upheld and there is a bearer between customers and workers. The beef and broccoli was great. However the chicken and chinese vegetables was not that good???. The overall experience was ok. I would probably try a different place next time. read more

Absolutely love the place - great food - suits our spicy palette every time as we order extra spicy. Usually, at other places when we order extra spicy, we are completely content. This one always impresses us. Dumplings are always a hit - fried or steamed! House Special Lo Mein is another one of our favorites. I have driven past this place hundreds of times. I'm so glad that I've finally stopped in! The food is so good and so fresh. We got dumplings, the Singapore noodles, and the lunch portion of general Tsos. It was all phenomenal. The Singapore noodles have shrimp, pork, and chicken with a touch of curry. They were spicy and flavorful. The general tsos is on par with any I've had. The hot and sour soup is so yummy. And the dumplings are tender and juicy (plus the sauce is yummy). Yeung's house is our favorite place to get take-out. Last week, we got two lunch entrees and an order of crab rangoon for $23. The portion sizes are generous, and the lunches come with egg rolls! The sweet and sour chicken is my favorite - the sauce comes on the side. The chicken is crispy, and the fried rice was delicious as well. I am reading these reviews and wondering if they actually ate at the same place I did. We got our food to go. It was the worst Chinese dinner we have ever had. The fried rice was yellow and had one taste only, old oil. The egg drop soup tasted like sulfur, I added bouillon and it was at least edible then. The vegetables in the chow mien were more raw then cooked and in some cases entire stalks of celery. There wasn't even any soy sauce to put on the food to help give it a taste. However, the egg rolls were good. We ended up throwing out the food and eating canned soup. $23 for nothing. I would not go back or recommend this place to anyone. read more

Our go to for Chinese take out in the West View area...we've ordered several times and were happy each time. This week we ordered off the lunch special menu...comes with egg roll, soup and rice. I won't order off this menu again because I didn't like the extras. They only had pork egg rolls so I didn't get one and I didn't like the egg drop soup. The meal itself had good flavor. I had the chicken with garlic sauce. The menu indicated this was a spicy dish but I didn't find it so. My husband had the hot and spicy chicken. He didn't find it all that spicy but he said it was tasty. He didn't like the wonton soup but he did like the egg roll. We will no doubt be ordering again. read more

This is by far the best Chinese in the area!! We travel 30 mins for Chinese just to come here! The prices are reasonable and the portions are very generous. They allow you to swap out the rice for lo mien, which most places normally do not! You can get the lunch menu any time of the day for just an extra $1. It comes with your meat and rice as well as soup or egg roll. We love this place and it is the number one Chinese place we would recommend. Definitely give it a try!! read more

I got takeout from here for dinner this past Sunday with my girlfriend. This has actually been my go to takeout Chinese place for a while because the food tastes great, you get a ton of it and it's cheap. For my dinner entree I ended up ordering one of their lunch specials. You can do this for $1 more at dinner and it comes with an egg roll and soup of you choice. So for my entree i ordered an extra spicy general tsaos chicken with hot and sour soup and fried rice. Their hot and sour soup might be my favorite hot and sour soup in the burgh with a very peppery taste in addition to the normal flavorings. The egg roll was crispy on the outside and filling although not overly tasty. My General Tsaos was both sweet and spicy due to my ordering of it and was very pleasant to my palate. The rice never is anything special but since you already have had a ton of other food, it is tough to finish. I think that in the end, it cost my girlfriend and I $13 for two lunch specials which both of us struggled to finish. The bottom line for me is that I will definitely be back here in the future. The food taste itself is probably only about four stars but the quantity combined with the price and always courteous customer service makes this a 5 star place to me. read more

This place is pretty cool. When we've had a long day and either of us don't feel like cooking this is the place we usually pick. We have had the sweet and sour chicken which is awesome, crisp and fresh. The sesame chicken has good flavor just the right amount of sesame seeds, I love sesame seeds. My husband usually gets the general tso and it's usually cooked to perfection...the sauce is never too much and never too little. I have eaten here twice and it's very convenient and close to my home. The only reason I didn't give the extra star is bc of the restaurant appearance...it's time for some remodeling and new furniture but otherwise superb! read more

I've been to a LOT of Chinese restaurants over the years, but I have to say that Yeung's House really stands out! It's not a fancy place--a counter and some tables, a drink cooler--but it is very clean, and quite well organized with the food delivery process, in that my order is always quickly prepared and handed over. Now, I have to say, this place has far and away THE best Szechuan chicken I've ever had!! All the flavors are absolutely spot-on, a nice amount of heat, and plenty of chicken. Just delicious! Usually I order the chicken, and I get a separate chicken fried rice, and it's really good as well, with a good amount of veggies and lots of chicken. Now, when I find a dish I like, I tend to get fixated and not order anything else, and that's the case here. Thus, I can't say anything about all the other stuff. However, this last time I was there, I ordered the lunch special for a change, and I got the egg roll with it. Now, I drive a distance to get there, so it's a drive back as well, so I was expecting the usual post-travel limp, bendy egg roll. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised--somehow it was still crispy, and it was really good! The prices are good and the food is plentiful, and I also like that they have a little table set up for customers to help themselves to the soy sauce, hot mustard, etc. I'm a huge fan of the hot mustard, and other Chinese places I've been to, they never give me enough, even if I request extra, so while that table may be a small touch, it's a big plus to me. So, Yeung's is my go-to Chinese place now, and I'm looking forward to EVENTUALLY trying other menu items. A BIG 5 stars from me! read more
