I called in a lunch order and no problems there, typical phone order for such a place. Went to pick it up. Easy to enter parking lot across from the iconic Clermont Lounge. Went to the window, paid, and on my way. I ordered the Pepper Steak lunch combo, fried rice instead. Came with a wonton soup and spring roll. Also got a small pork lo mein for later. Always my go to spot in old Fourth ward. Ordering is super easy thru yelp App. And orders are ready 10-15 mins max. you even get an alert. Chicken and broccoli tastes just like in NY- they throw in carrots and I'm not complaining. The family dinner is a generous meal with your choice of soup, egg roll, protein and rice. I work near this place and see it all the time. I finally decided to try it and I bought a bunch of food to treat my team. The lady I spoke to on the phone was nice and I have to mention that I ordered $150 worth of food and they had it ready for me in 15 minutes! The place is small and only serves at a window but that wasn't a big deal to me bc I didn't plan on dining in. I didn't know what to expect but it was actually really good! The egg rolls were great, the shrimp fried rice was great, the wontons were small but okay, the shrimp lo mein was good, and the wings didn't stand a chance with my team lol. We got lemon pepper and honey bbq and they loved it. I ended up going back today for more egg rolls. I'm mad at myself for discovering it so late! Good and cheap is hard to find. This spot has it. I got a small sesame chicken and a small general tso's chicken. I believe my order came to about 20.70 or something like that. The portion was EXTREMELY generous for a small. I was stunned. And pleasantly surprised to get two things of rice as well. It wasn't the best Chinese food I've ever had but it's certainly good. The sesame chicken wasn't as sweet as others I've had. The general tso's was spicy. I'll definitely come here again! Glad to have a nice affordable spot for Chinese food in this area! read more

Let me preface by saying I'm from Philly and I know the south is not known for Chinese food, but I was hoping to find something edible. So I ordered via Uber eats on a Friday night....mind you I have eaten nothing off of this plate before I took the pic. Ordered the rib tips, house lo mein, small chicken fried rice, beef lo mein and 2 egg rolls. The egg rolls were horrible! Ate a quarter of one and threw them both away. The rib tips were mainly seasoned bones with barely any meat on them. Hell as you can see in the pic there were even straight up bones with nothing on them. The house lo mein and chicken fried rice were passable, but I def wouldn't recommend. My friend enjoyed the beef lo mein but he's from the south and probably doesn't know any better j/k. Needless to say I'm 0-2 for Chinese food in Atlanta and def do not recommend this place at all if you come from the north and are accustomed to a certain type of Chinese food. Their crab Rangoon just tasted like fried cream cheese, not a hint of "crab". The General Tso's was just breaded bits, no chicken and their chicken wings weren't even fresh! Idk man, for this to be one of the only Chinese Food joints in my neighborhood, I'm extremely disappointed. Health Rating: 83.. should be "Enough said" however this place gets a bad rap and honestly without a few saving graces people should abide by that... Owners treat people like they are doing them a favor by spending money there (esp minorities.. they are in the heart of Atlanta.. unacceptable) Food is hit or miss. But when it hits, it's the best in atl. Only time orders are completely taken down right and looked over and over is the sweetheart who actually speaks the language in its entirety, however she is hardly ever there but always a pleasure when dealing with her. We order from here occasionally and find the food to be pretty solid. It is about what you would expect from an inexpensive take-out kind of place. We haven't ordered delivery before, so can't really comment on the issues that people seem to be having with the driver. read more

Yum! Fir tears, I've driven past this place snd wondered about it. Last night, it was late snd I just really wanted Chinese food and regular haunts weren't open. To be safe, I ordered several things. I was so surprised. Every dish was better than the next. Yes, Jan 1 and I've already blown my diet because I'm constantly snacking on my left overs. Lol. Szechuan chicken was my favorite. General Tso was close second. Egg rolls were crispy and not greasy. Everything full of flavor. Oddities to expect: drive/ walk up to get your food. There is no inside access that I noticed. Plexiglass cutouts and compartments to pay snd get your food. Con: they cook/ pack the food quickly. So, food left in containers very long seemed overdone. I'm not sure if there is a way to correct this but if open things sooner, it helps. I do foresee regular visits in my future... and I'm already craving more now. read more

I gave this place a chance because I wanted quick cheap Chinese food. It's definitely your basic to-go Chinese. No sit down service or tables. The food is average and most meals are about $10. They don't open for lunch, closer to 3pm. We got the Mongolian beef and beef and broccoli. Both tasted fine, they didn't skimp on the beef which is good. Oh great! They're open! That's what I said around 10:30 when I was in Atlanta and looking for food on the way home. China Dragon is a small little store situated right next door to Honey Bubble. I'd seen the reviews but thought eh, late night chinese is always good. I decided on their honey braised chicken ($8.99), which came with white rice. I got the fried rice instead, which is an upcharge of ($1.50). I kinda assumed the honey braised chicken would be a bone in chicken, or wings at the least. Instead the honey braised chicken resembles sweet and sour chicken....y'know, little fried blobs of chicken. The flavor of the honey braised chicken was very muted. I suspected it was supposed to be glazed (or braised) with honey, or at the least come with a dipping sauce. The flavor instead tasted quite doughy and dry, with the occassional honey sweeet nugget. If there was a dipping sauce, similar to sweet and sour chicken for example, that would have made it better for me. Sadly I had to go home and squeeze some bottled honey on them myself. It was actually really good then (tho i'm not a chef at China Dragon...so I shouldn't have had to)! The fried rice was pretty standard fried rice Located off of ponce De Leon Ave, again China Dragon sits next door to Honey Bubble. There is a very small parking lot, so parking can be tough since spaces are hard to come by. Getting in and out of this location can also be a nightmare depending on the time of day, and in truth, that's one reason why I never have visited, because I didn't want to deal with getting out of their parking lot when I was driving by. The interior of China Dragon is no frills...as in there's one very small "for two" table, and lots of waiting chairs, so it's really not a dine in place. Customer service is fine enough. Is China Dragon bad food? Eh....well I wasn't expecting to be wowed, so it more confirmed than disappointed. I am kinda underwhelmed with the flavors, but i'm not against coming back to try them again, especially with their late night hours. It just may be a minute before I do. read more
