As a huge fan of the Duluth Jusgo food court location, I loved that a second location opened up in Atlanta, perfect for whenever I'm craving something actually authentic in the city. And now they're Michelin recommended?? Finally a restaurant on the list that actually has Tiff H.-approved good food! Parking is free at the deck in the same building. "Pay" after scanning the QR code at the deck and use the provided validated code for 1 free hour, which should be about enough time - and don't bother trying to memorize the code for future use, I believe they change it often. When it gets super busy at peak time, it can be a full one hour meal. Order at the kiosk but be sure to mention to someone at the counter that you are planning on dining in before doing so if it's busy. They could definitely use a more efficient format of seating with such limited tables but they try their best to be fair on a first come first serve basis and are transparent with their wait times. My favorites are the spicy cumin lamb noodles and the spicy cumin lamb burger (see a pattern here?) I've tried the cucumbers and scallion pancake, which are a-ok, but not as stand out as their spicy cumin lamb! Their hand pulled noodles are perfectly chewy - if you know the term "qq", that's exactly what they are but #iykyk! The noodle soup is also a-ok, but even better in cold/rainy weather. I also recently tried the shredded pork & pickled mustard noodles and they remind me of a home cooked Asian meal, but not as flavorful as the cumin lamb noodles. So all of that to say, stop in for the spicy cumin lamb noodles - and anything you order aside from that would only complement the star attraction! A well deserved Michelin recommendation!

Amazing noodles and very polite staff! Came to this great little restaurant at the recommendation of a local Atlanta resident, and was not disappointed! The noodles are very tasty and seem homemade, the soup base is rich and delicious and the menu offers vegetarian options, which is always a plus for me! We did have to wait a little for our order, but the staff was very busy with multiple take-out orders and they were very gracious and apologized to my party for the wait. Definitely recommend coming here!!

These might be the best dumplings in all of Atlanta! Do not skip out on dumplings; they are large and filling, but worth every bit of waiting to be sure to get some. I would say share them with a friend, but you might not want to. The beef dry noodle is also incredibly good. Yes, you should get both. I know it seems like a lot of food and it is, but you're going to love it. However, it does have some spice; if you're looking for something completely mild, skip the noodles.

Yum yum yum! We got takeout from here one Friday evening and I am so glad we did. We got a bunch of items on the menu to share between 2 of us and had leftovers which was even better. We of course had to get the cucumber which were just amazing, but I do have to say I found them spicier than some of the main dishes! We also got the scallion pancakes which were good but we found to be little oily. The star of the show was the dumplings for sure. They gave an amazing portion and these dumplings were FULL ! I was impressed with them. We also got the lamb burger bun and the beef noodles. Noodles were great and delicious and the lamb burger was good too but I found it very cumin forward almost like I was eating Indian food versus chinese food. Overall, we loved this meal and would love to do takeout again!

So good!! Xi a gourmet house is a staple in midtown for authentic Chinese food and is very similar to food that I've had before in China! It's always super busy so waiting for food can take a pretty long time and seating is pretty limited, which is the only downside. Parking is also a little hard to find, but the deck is on the other side of the entrance of the restaurant. Xi a validates for 1 hour of free parking too! For food, I had the cumin lamb dry noodles and their spicy sauce. the noodles tasted super fresh and the flavor of the cumin lamb was amazing!!! The portion size was also massive for the price! Idk the last time we paid under $40 for 2 of us in midtown tbh. I will definitely be back for more of their food!

The 肉夹馍 pork Chinese burger was so yummy. Authentic and juicy. The cold noodles 凉皮very surprised me by being so delicious , saucy while maintaining a bouncy noodle. However I waited like 40 mins for this

I got the pork and pickled mustard tuber dry and spicy for takeout- I actually prefer this to the spicy lamb because the pickled radish gives more crunch to the dish and it's less oily since there's more vegetables. It was easier to finish this one whereas I felt the lamb one got heavy towards the end. It was pretty packed around 6 on Friday so call ahead!

Stopped by during lunch time and service was great and very quick! The portion sizes are very good for the price point! Very casual and perfect for a quick bite. We got the spicy cumin lamb noodles (dry) and the beef noodles (dry). First off, the noodles are FANTASTIC. You can definitely tell they are handmade and it's so chewy and cooked to perfection! The spicy cumin lab is DELICIOUS and definitely worth getting (5/5)!!! I loved the spicy kick it had to it! I have a high spicy tolerance so if you don't, you may think it's too spicy. The beef noodles is a good alternative if you don't like spicy, but I found the beef to be underwhelming especially compared to the spicy lamb. I wouldn't get the beef noodles again. Overall, a great spot for casual lunch at an affordable price!

This place looked promising cause it was so busy but it was a bit of a let down. The food took a while to come out and was very spicy, even the dishes that say they aren't spicy are still spicy. There is not a lot of seating inside or outside either. This seems more like a takeout place. The seats inside were cheap plastic seating and you were encouraged to leave as soon as you were din, probably due to the line of people waiting to eat. They do not offer free water cups, which forces you into buying a drink to survive the spicy food. The 3 members of my group all ended up feeling this meal until dinner the next day, which speaks to how impactful the food is.

Xi'an Gourmet House is a casual eatery spot specializing in Chinese hand-pulled noodles. It is located in Midtown, so parking is already iffy. The interior is small with several tables and it seems to get busy easily. Service was as fast as it could be for the busy-ness. I got the Scallion Pancake and Chicken Wings while my friend got the Spicy Cumin Lamb Noodle (Dry). I am not a fan of Chinese noodles... both dry or soup. I think it is the cumin flavor. However, my friend did like the noodles she got. My Scallion Pancake was thin and crispy, but I wish there was a bit more flavor. The Chicken Wings were plain, but delicious. They were crispy and juicy! I also got the Yogurt which was a tart-y and refreshing drink. This is a restaurant that does not specialize in food I like, which explains my rating, although I would probably give it a 3.5/5 stars if I could. However, there are a lot of good reviews about this place and its food, so do not let my review deter you from going!

Authentic Xi'an food! They validate parking up to an hour at The Mark garage. It's a small restaurant. It seemed very busy but we only waited about 15 minutes to be seated for dinner on a Friday. Ordered at the counter but they cleaned up our table after. Scallion Pancakes are really good, although Pancake sounds misleading, it's more like Borek. The dumplings and the hand pulled noodles were really good. But both the beef and the lamb noodles were spicy! Would not recommend it for anyone with medium-low spice tolerance. Cucumbers were so refreshing even though it was also a little bit spicy. Wish it was not served in plastic bowls and paper plates. Would eat from here again for sure but might consider picking up next time!

First time trying this place we came for a quick bite. The restaurant is located in a building and is very small. There is limited seating inside, and you can find yourself waiting in line to order. This is an order first sit down after establishment. The service at the register was quick and efficient. They were nice and helpful with recommendations. The portions on these plates as you can see are huge. This one plate is definitely shareable. I ordered the dry noodle lamb, it was good but not my favorite.

    Spicy Cumin Lamb Burger (Spicy)
    Tei L.

You order with a self-service kiosk and they bring the food to your table. My spicy cumin lamb noodles and burger came out quickly, but my friend ordered the beef vermicelli which took significantly longer. The food is delicious and I personally appreciate that the "mild" spicy level isn't 0% spicy, but instead has just enough heat to tickle and wake up your senses. The biang biang noodles have a rustic handmade texture. There isn't much seating so plan accordingly.

Having been at least once every couple months for years, it's our Chinese comfort food as dim sum is meant to be. Although I would recommend arriving at anytime they are open, we find the absolute best time for dim sum is to arrive right at opening on Saturday or Sunday. This time lets us beat the wait, get a great table fast, and the food is super plentiful, hot and fresh out of the kitchen. The chrysanthemum tea is a must have and complements the food as a perfect, tasty, and just sweet enough palate cleanser (although I would prefer to add the rock sugar myself to my tea, they serve it with sugar already inside the pot). For the absolute best pairing with your chrysanthemum tea, make sure to save room for the awesome pineapple buns while supplies last. They were out today and we all collectively cried (will be going back just for the pineapple buns soon...we are just not complete without them!). We love all the dishes, but our absolute favorites (outside of the pineapple buns) are the pork spare ribs with black bean, the beef rice rolls/noodles, shrimp dumplings, and turnip cakes. Add some spicy sauce to the spare ribs and turnip cakes to really set them off! For iced coffee lovers who like it really strong, don't pass up on the iced coffee. It has legs that are strong enough to walk, but completely complements the dim sum with a little extra boost to help you enjoy the day. So, I challenge others to find a better dim sum place in Atlanta. That is why Canton House earns my 5th star and looking forward to getting my pineapple buns (really) soon!

We started with the flower tea, amazing choice! Sweet and warming, nicely aromatic. Perfect start. Then the dim sum carts rolled in and we chowed down. DISHES I ORDERED - Siu Mai: Not the best I've had. Quite oily on the outside, but the flavor isn't bad. It does...taste like siu mai. It's just nothing spectacular - Chinese Broccoli: A classic! Very good - Beef Chow Fun: A very chewy and bouncy home made flat noodle dish. Savory, salty, and flavorful! Good amount of tender beef too. - Shrimp Balls: Crispy and fried on the outside, yummy, with good big shrimp ball. Yummy classic sweet and sour sauce too. Delicious - Egg Rolls: Good, not too oily, a normal egg roll - Spare ribs: Possibly my favorite dish! Tender, not too chewy, good savory sweet flavor. -- Overall, it's not bad but it's nothing to write home about. My favorite item was probably the spare ribs. The rest were standard in my opinion. However, service is fast since it is dimsum, so perfect to eat when hungry! Also great ambiance for big group parties or hangouts!
