This is a small restaurant near a movie theater and is easy to pass by without seeing. There are about 10 tables inside and some more outside seating on the patio area. The menu is large with a good variety of everyone's favorites including lunch specials. We've dined there several times and always enjoyed wonderful service, well prepared food and generous portions. I go to China Dragon almost every week, that's how wonderful their customer service is as well as their food. I always order their steamed tofu with vegetables or their vegetable egg foo young with the veggies inside the egg. I am just shocked that this place could have anything more than a 2 star review. I was considering giving 2 stars solely on the fact that the food was hot when it was delivered, but the quality and taste of the food was just not adequate enough for 2 stars. We just moved here from Orange County, and before you go on about OC food snobbery, we lived in Corona for 14 years but it was 18 years ago. Granted, the shear lack of good restaurants in the Corona area may have made some peoples taste buds completely numb, that's the only way I can explain anything other than a 2 star review, and we have been spoiled for the past 18 years living in the OC, but this is mind blowing. I'm not going to go into a long rant about how the food tasted, I'll tell you what I ordered so you at least know we tried a couple of things. Kung Pao Three Delights, it was anything but delightful. Orange Chicken, so much bread you couldn't taste the chicken and unlike any orange chicken I've ever had. Minced Chicken Lettuce Wraps, completely tasteless chicken in a lettuce cup. Beef on a stick.......don't even know what to say about those. Paper Wrapped Chicken, minced, formed, greasy and tasteless. Vegetable Egg Rolls, so greasy they were uneatable we only got through half a roll. And have you ever eaten at a Chinese restaurant that doesn't use onions, bell peppers or any vegetable other than what appeared to be zucchini? I really hate giving out bad reviews, I want every place I go to to be successful and delicious, but when you throw away 75% of your order, you want to save other people the same fate. We live in the Temescal/Eagle Glen area and we are desperate for anything decent that can be delivered or picked up, or for that matter even a decent sit down restaurant. I hope this place was just having an off night, but I'll never find out. I guess it's going to be a long drive for me to get anything decent. read more

We got delivery today. First time trying it. It was good. Not great. But overall good. The chicken wings were great, 5 stars. Really good seasoning and the coating was not too much. Highly recommend. The egg rolls were just like panda ones, 3/4 stars. So ok there. The kids loved the egg rolls but I was hoping for more wow then Panda. The orange chicken was really good! That was 5 stars. The fried rice was horrible, 1 Star. No flavor at all! Very, very dry! I don't think I have ever had such bad fried rice before. Highly disappointed. I didn't even think you could have fried rice with such non-existent flavor. Lol! The chow mein add on was just noodles. Again no flavor at all! 1 Star. The kids wanted noodles so we ordered the fried noodles and it came with chicken, beef, shrimp and veggies in a brown sauce. The fried noodles were horrible, no flavor again and fried solid and super hard. The meat and veggies brown sauce thing was pretty good. So this dish would be 2/3 stars. I got the garlic ginger chicken with extra veggies. Was pretty good! Not very garlicy or gingery, lol! But the flavor was pretty good and the veggies were crisp which I love. So 4 stars. i want to rate China Dragon with 6 stars. they are located by the Edwards theater at the Crossings. We have tried a wide variety of items on their menu and have never been disappointed. The staff there is very welcoming and very attentive . Please give this local dining spot a chance the next time you go to Target or Kohls. I am very sure you will love the food. Ordered take out last night on their website at 5pm, said 15 minutes to pickup. Sounded great, ordered 5 different items for family dinner. Get to restaurant, super busy, tons of food in the window, they have no idea where my food is. Needed to show my order just to get them to make the items I ordered. If I had not already paid online I would have walked out. English very poor so communication was a challenge. At least 6 other people waiting for food as well. No one cleaning tables so dirty tables all over. Finally got my order 90 min after ordering. Half cold, half hot and fresh. Food was good but I would wait until they have their act together, I don't think they were prepared to open yet, not enough staff and extremely disorganized. Not cheep food for having half your dinner cold. Them offering a Pepsi for my hassle was not worth it. read more
