Where is the meat? I just ordered a $15 Singapore rice noodle and there is hardly any meat. The portion is not huge either. The package the dish in a small container with compartments. I understand ingredients cost more now but I will never order this again. The service was polite and quick. I also asked for it with no spice because it's for my 7 year old niece. Ordered from here using delivery app, so can't comment on service nor location. It was our first time ordering; and we were pleasantly surprised by some and not impressed by another dish. When possible, I would recommend choosing the white rice option with your meal over the lo mein (noodles). I highly recommend the orange chicken: rich, sweet taste with real orange peels in sauce. The mango and sticky rice is a nice treat; not overpowering nor too sweet. Teriyaki chicken& shrimp comes a large portion, a lot of shrimp, served w/steamed mixed vegetables. Teriyaki combo special was well priced at $8.99 and really fully-packed; but it lacked flavor. Unfortunately, the teriyaki combo tasted like it was sitting under a warming light at a food court for too long. Big upside is all of the packaging was sustainable and recyclable. Take out or leave it! My first visit and possibly my last. I ordered two combo meals with pork fried rice and egg rolls. And a pupu platter. I received two combo meals with plain rice and no egg rolls. The pupu platter was dried out and tough. The combo meals were unremarkable. The cashier was very nice. Love the general tso's chicken lunch special w/hot and sour soup (wish it came with an egg roll - BUT this is the only lunch special that I've seen that gives you the option to swap rice with lo mein). And the Peking duck tasted really good. This rating is just on flavor of the food I received - which is easily a 5/5 stars. But holistically, the restaurant is a solid 4/5. Will definitely eat here again. Also, the manager of the restaurant has always been kind and willing to modify Uber eats orders - so shout out to the manager. UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT is exactly what this place needed. We didn't like the old place, but this NEW one is great! We had takeout - got two Thai dishes, and REALLY liked the food. I called China Dynasty about two weeks ago and ordered wonton soup, and an orange chicken with broccoli and steamed white rice. The total came out to be about $14. I picked up my food at the counter inside. They sell drinks and half and half ice tea out of a cooler behind the counter. The dining room is not in use for eat in patrons. It looks like it is being used as an office and plate storage. I cannot comment on the delivery or eat in service. The portions are large. I feel bad for the other reviewers who had a unfavorable experience particularly the person writing about soup that tasted like dishwater. Next time I will try their steak egg roll. read more

Placed an online pickup order for dinner. My husband went to pickup the order and ordered a couple bottled drinks while there. The avocado smoothie I ordered had been forgotten, but in their defense my husband also forgot I had ordered it. I called to ask about getting a credit back to my card - the avocado smoothie had already been made and the man I talked to was very apologetic about forgetting it had been in the freezer instead of with the remainder of our pickup order. They went above and beyond with their customer service. My avocado smoothie was delivered to my house so I didn't have to drive back. I move to Laurel so I'm not close to order from them but today I decided to go and order what I felt was good Chinese food. The fact that they offer white meat is a plus. When I got come to devour what I remembered to be good, I start eating and realized that I'm not tasting any chicken breast. This place appears a lil gross. It's dank, a lil dirty looking. The meat is so tender it's questionable, there's a funny smell in the corner of tables that NOBODY ever eats in to use....buuuuut I can't stop eating the food. My mother is allergic to seafood and can no longer feel her tongue after eating the beef and broccoli. The beef and broccoli had a shell in it he says it's a egg shell. The tables look like they are more for storage or for wrapping silverware. The carpet could use a really good cleaning and everything looks dingy. The tables are rarely set for dining in. You will have to get your own plate, menu, silverware and napkin. The staff are busy in the kitchen and it takes a while to get hot tea. Then when you are finished eating, they have mostly forgotten you and you have to ask for the check. They just do not have much dine in patrons so do not expect a smile when they take your order. They are nice but busy with carry-out. However, the food is good. It is not fancy, but it is fresh and generous. I dine in because my clients prefers to eat at a table instead of bringing the food home. We have ordered the combination plates which come with an egg roll and fried rice. The egg rolls are pretty tasty but are just ground meat and cabbage. Crispy on the outside and savory on the inside. I have been eating from this restaurant pretty much all my life since I live by the area. I normally order take out here regularly because it's a bargain with the quantity and quality you get. I have taken my family and friends here, and they all agree it is delish. Their brown sauce is top-notch. When dining in, the quality of their dishes is 5-star, but without the 5-star prices. My usual orders include Hunan Beef/Chicken, Triple delight, or Beef/Chicken w/ Mixed Vegetable . I have not tried the sweet tangy sauce that comes with Sweet and Source/Orange/Sesame chicken, so I can't speak for that. Their Sweet and Sour soup rates mediocre. I hardly ever eat here, but it's just down the street from my house and I see it all the time so I thought I'd check it out on a lazy Friday night with a friend. Definitely a decision with consequences I should've expected - a lazily prepared meal. I was just hoping for at least a basic Chinese food experience, but it felt like the Dragon & Phoenix' contents (General Tso's shrimp and chicken) were sitting in the kitchen all day... probably longer. The chicken was uncomfortably crunchy and chewy, the vegetables were barely cooked, and the sauce was extremely variable throughout the container: viscous brown liquid around the chicken mushed together on one side, and a strange, mysterious, chalky white fluid around the shrimp and vegetables that bore an unsettling resemblance to personal liquid I won't mention. [For Carry-out Only] I've eaten at quite a few Chinese restaurants in life. And while I wouldn't call the food I've had at China Dynasty the best I've ever had, it's certainly not the worst either. The portions that give to you tend to be enough to fill you up, at least for me, and I tend to eat pretty large portions. Their lo mien is actually good. They actually put vegetables in theirs and the flavoring is quite suited to my best. And like most Chinese take out places, the prices aren't too bad. But on a side note, I've been here several times now and I have yet to see anybody actually eat there (they do have tables and seating for such an occasion) probably due to bad location (they are located in the back lot behind Pizza hut). So if you're ever in the area and need a quick fix to that Chinese craving you should give this place a try. read more

I think this place is ok but I gave 5 stars because they delivery to my home. I had a horrible Chinese foods in Laurel MD few weeks ago so I realized this place is much much doing good jobs! I'd been in Los Angeles for 7 years and there were great Chinese foods also. I never count Panda Express but since I came to east coast, Panda express is much better than other Chinese food places in DC area. China Dynasty is about same or better than Panda. I always drive pass this place it's been here since I was in high school, but never have I eaten here. So this time I decided to forgo my usual supply of great carryout and give this place a whirl. China Dynasty located right behind the Pizza Hut on New Hampshire Ave. is where I for the first time am walking in. Three customers are seated near the entrance for carryout. There is no one else in the place and yes they do have a dine in restaurant area rather on the smallish side but no diners. The place is quiet too quiet I stand in the Peptobismol pink entrance and counter when suddenly a young gal emerge from around the short corner from a laptop probably doing her homework. I take a carryout menu and give it the once over. I know that all of these menus are the same mostly except for the prices but sometimes some places will have a little extra say Peking Duck or Subgum Wonton. The one thing that I don't like for those of you who read my other reviews, is when a restaurant tries too much of everything like here they have cheese steak subs, cheeseburgers, Gyros, fried fish sandwich, buffalo wings and cold cut sandwiches and everything under the sun. So anyway let me stick with Chinese carryout, that is what I'm here for. Szechuan chicken combo platter, at least that's what I thought I had ordered. The young gal yell to the back and I heard an older lady yell back looks like the whole family is working tonight. Father standing by to make the deliveries daughters one and two taking orders between their homework and mother and auntie in the back over the hot wok cooking the night away so seated and waiting I scan the place over it appears clean and neat enough but still no diners. Just the four of us waiting. One by one the orders come out and one by one each person takes their respected bag and leave and so did I. Should have check the bag uugh.... First time here don't know what to expect Wing Wah never messed up my orders but some how they forgot to either give me the combo platter that comes with pork fried rice and egg roll or they just gave me the regular szechuan listing with just white rice. Oh well I'm home I'm not going back out and I'm hungry. Their large plate of szechuan is composed mostly of carrots and a lot of onions and other green veggies but very little chicken, it was spicy enough liked I had ask for. The few bits of chicken just wasn't happening for me too much maybe not enough to be memorable. the white rice was just that, rice and it was white. At least they gave me a fortune cookie but unfortunately there was nothing here that really makes me want to change from my usual carryout places in Colesville. I would give it 2.5 stars but three is good.
