Food was amazing, but the place is nasty! Almost none of the food tags were correct. There was such a layer of grime on the back of all the chairs, your fingers stuck to it. Same goes for all the salt/pepper shakers, and even the napkins dispenser. I watched the bus lady, half ass wipe down a table, nothing else. Let me begin by saying I took someone to eat here and very soon regretted doing so. The food was so bad. The juice in the mandrian oranges had gone bad and tasted like dirty dishwater. I have an affinity for Chinese buffet. It wasn't until I was an adult did I learn Chinese food could be served any other way, or that the American version isn't the true version of it. Chinese buffet remind me of my maternal grandparents. My favorite grandparents because they would take my siblings and I at every visit. Anyways. There is a huge parking lot in front. I was actually looking for another restaurant open on a Sunday evening during dinner time, but there were no cars in front of it where there were a ton here. It was everything I expected. Sticky floors, hot food that you don't know how long its been sitting out, so I just went for it. I saw no bugs and got no indigestion in the 12 hours after, so I call that a win! I decided to try this place out to see if it was as bad as some of the reviews say. The answer is NO. The food was good, I felt like the selection was good as well. There is a lot of seafood, probably more seafood options than chicken, but there's still a good selection. The place was not filthy like other reviews stated. Overall......this Chinese buffet is OKAY. I went during lunchtime, and they are consistent about replenishing the food on the hot bar. However, some of the flavors were off. The sesame seed chicken was floating in water, as well as the general TSO. The lomein noodles were a bit dry, and made out of a fettuccini cut noodle. The Rangoon's were fresh & hot. My husband and I went to eat there on May 16, 2022. We fixed our plate and had taken about two bites when I found a dead roach in my food. I proceeded to take my plate to the cashier and told him we would not be paying for our plates because this is a roach in my food. He said, oh sorry, but you will have to pay for your tea. This time they would not open the party room or put more than 2 tables together to sit 11 customers. They told us to just sit at the table beside the wall. We stopped here because it was a national holiday and didn't realize so many of restaurants would be closed. Like most buffets, it's best to go when they are busiest (usually lunchtime and such). The selection was nice, though I'd have liked to see better desserts than the dry cakes, jello and broken ice cream machine. I was reintroduced to a food that I had gotten sick of as a kid and I'm now a fan of this place. Pretty good! I've been here a couple times with my girlfriend, and even though it was dinner time, the buffet busy, the service was pretty on top of the refills of drink and food. They have a great selection and the honey chicken is a must-try. The sushi was fresh and delicious, and I'm not even that big of a fan of sushi. The dessert bar was pretty bleak, but who really goes to a Chinese buffet for the desserts? Eeh its a China Buffet and didnt expect much. My kids however somewhat liked it. I love flavor and trying new foods. This had the basic buffet food. Crab legs were always out and sushi seemed like it sat there for quiet a while. The desert is horrible. For the price that is being paid I would think there would be something more.
