很好吃,味道不错,菜量很大很实惠,正常15%tip include,他们都是seasonal的师傅,每年工作几个月在这里,可以理解 The food is very tasty and flavorful, and the portions are large and very affordable. A standard 15% tip is included. The chefs are all seasonal workers who work here for a few months each year, which is understandable.

Super authentic Chinese food in the West Yellowstone town. The owner is very nice and friendly. The service is excellent! We ordered Sichuan style boiled beef, mapo tofu, and seaweed egg drop soup. The food came out literally within five-ten minutes! It's so delicious that we had to come back for another meal. If you're looking for authentic Chinese food, we highly recommend you try out this amazing restaurant.

Since moving to western Montana a few years ago, I've tried and failed to find authentic Chinese food. Even Spokane, WA, which isn't in the state but is the next closest larger city, has just an okay Sichuan restaurant. This place though - in West Yellowstone of all places - is the real deal. They have clearly gone to the trouble to import a professionally trained head chef from China, the equivalent of a French restaurant employing someone who actually attended culinary school. As for the dishes pictured: The dry fried string beans were as good as I've had anywhere, California and Chengdu included. The tofu bean curd stir fried with shredded pork included Western celery which isn't my personal preference, but aromatics tend to vary with this dish anyway. The water boiled fish, one of my favorite dishes, was an interesting take -- lots of minced garlic, not super spicy, although the overall flavor profile and velvety protein texture was correct. Next time I will ask for it extra spicy. P.S. They also have a sister restaurant of the same name in Jackson, WY, which I believe is open year round. The West Yellowstone location is summer only with a soft opening in May. Minor downsides: no Chinese fresh greens available, and yes, it's pricey for the "real" Chinese dishes on the menu. Expect to pay 2x for Chengdu fried chicken vs General Tso's chicken. But if you live in an ethnic food desert with big city taste buds, or just really like eating Chinese food on vacation like my parents, it's worth it.

F*^%*!G GOOD!!!! it can be pretty difficult to find good consistent food in the small town of West Yellowstone. In person experience, there's a lot of fluctuation with quality because the remote location is hard! And a lot of people who work here are seasonal. So when it comes to food, don't have the most promising stuff... But I have to say China has the best Chinese food in town. I was craving good, hot Chinese vegetables and lo mein and that is exactly what I got. This place has consistent reviews because there is awesome. Their restaurant is clean and food is consistently good and authentic. If you want Chinese food after the park come to thumb. It is the very first restaurant that you see when you enter the town! This place is great

Delicious! Better than expected! This place beats some of the Chinese restaurants I've been to in the Washington DC area. This place serves authentic Chinese food! I would say the chef/cook here is REALLY good at putting the flavors together. Make sure to order the authentic entrees and do family-style ordering if you can. The authentic dishes are flavorful and super delicious! I definitely see this place as a popular place Chinese people would go to. The restaurant does not look too fancy ... a little hole in the wall but clean and spacious. The prices are better than the restaurants around it. The service was good (standard Asian restaurant service :)), the staff stopped by to refill drinks and such. They do automatically charge a tip, which was nice for our staff to remind us when we were paying. We would recommend this place and would come again! Great food! Great service! Reasonable prices compared to the other American restaurants here! We ordered ... -Spicy Chicken - This was deliciously super spicy, order only if you can handle tongue numbing spicy. We couldn't stop eating this! So good! -Stirfry Cabbage - Cooked very well. Perfect amount of garlic and not spicy for our toddler. We all loved it! -Lomein - This was okay, mainly ordered for the kids. I consider this a more Americanized dish but my toddler did love it so much that she had three servings!

Was looking for Chinese food near Yellowstone and decided to give this place a try. There was plenty of seating. Staff felt nice. Good if you have large parties. Other than that, the food is ok. We did notice the food was a bit salty for us. Some dishes we ok, but some dishes felt like I needed to eat a lot of rice to balance the salt. I don't know if I would suggest going to this place for Chinese food. Might have been better to go to a burger restaurant.

The inside of the restaurant is dingy but the food is good! We were surprised by the dry sautéed spicy string beans and the potato / pork belly dry pot. Honestly those dishes rivals what we can get at home in Seattle. The beef lo mein was just ok. Some of the dishes are quite pricy but I get it, it's Yellowstone.

If you're looking for Chinese food in the West Yellowstone area, this place is a major disappointment. The food quality is below average and just as expensive as any other restaurant here. If you're looking for authentic food, go back home. I'd eat Panda Express over this. The interior of the building was not really what we were expecting. It's very spacious and a bit dingy, but that's not really an issue. I went to Yellowstone with my family, and we are all Chinese. The servers told us in Mandarin to quickly eat our food because people from returning from tours would be coming soon. It felt like they were rushing us. The other interactions with them were similarly cold. Also, The kettle on our table wasn't full of tea, but water. It just seemed like cutting corners. We ordered the clay pot chicken, mapo tofu, and beef broth stew with radish. All the food was lacking in size. The beef broth seemed especially thin, like it was more water than flavor. The mapo tofu sauce seemed to be a similar quality to store bought sauce. Because you can just buy tofu at the store for cheap, you're pretty much just paying for a 20 dollar sauce, and it did not deliver.

If it were possible to give zero stars, I would gladly give this restaurant a zero…read more I have lived in the United States for more than ten years and have dined at hundreds of Chinese and non-Chinese restaurants. This restaurant ranks among the worst dining experiences I have ever had. From the front desk staff, to the servers, to the owner, there seemed to be an attitude of hiding information whenever possible and charging extra whenever possible. It was extremely disappointing and does a disservice to Chinese cuisine. The main reasons are as follows: **1. Lack of pricing transparency and poor communication** When we placed our order, the server initially overcharged us. The mistake was corrected only after I pointed it out. However, after the correction, the total was manually recalculated and was still off by one dollar. Since the amount was small, I chose not to argue further in the interest of keeping the situation pleasant. What was more concerning was that, during payment, an additional fee was charged on a bill over $100. The cashier never mentioned this fee beforehand, nor was there any explanation afterward. I only learned about it after checking my bank transaction and asking directly. Even more disappointing was the owner's response when I tried to discuss the issues. Rather than addressing the question, he was dismissive, argumentative, and unwilling to engage in even a brief, straightforward conversation. As a customer, I believe any additional fees should be clearly disclosed before payment, not discovered afterward. **2. No proper itemized receipt provided** At checkout, the restaurant did not proactively provide an itemized bill or detailed receipt. When I asked about it, the owner responded that "many restaurants in the United States do the same thing, including restaurants nearby." In my opinion, regardless of industry practices, customers have the right to understand exactly what they are being charged for and how the total is calculated. **3. Questionable customer service priorities** The cashier seemed unwilling to spend even a few seconds explaining the charges to customers. Communication with paying customers appeared to be a very low priority. **4. Average food with small portions** The food was average at best, with no particularly memorable dishes. More importantly, the portion sizes were noticeably small relative to the prices charged, making the overall value poor. Overall, what disappointed me was not the extra dollar or the service fee itself. It was the lack of transparency, the lack of communication, and the apparent disregard for customer concerns throughout the entire experience. As a result, I would not return to this restaurant, nor would I recommend it to friends.

We walked in to the "OPEN" restaurant asked for a table for 2 which there was more than enough room for (probably 20 open seats), and were immediately told they were closed! Now there were already about 50-70 people eating, but unfortunately, we would have been the only Caucasians in there! The picture below was taken after we ate at the other restaurant, and as you can see it not only says "OPEN" (in neon) but the door is actually open as well.
