My husband & I order from here at least once a week but not anymore, the young lady how ever old she may be is rude & had the nerve to say I have no manors & was brought up wrong & hung up on me. I ordered my food at 8:06 the lady said 30-45 minutes & I said that's fine. 9:20 passed & I called & told her that I wasn't going to be home anymore & that I don't want my food because its been over an hour & I had to leave & she proceeds to argue with me saying that it's people like me that make her angry. She calls me back at 9:30 telling me that the delivery man is at my house & I told her I'm not home I don't want the order & she insults me some more, I asked to speak to a manager she says there's no one available, I told her you know what you just lost a customer & hung up. Although the surrounding area and modest style of the restaurant may give people a misleading impression, the food is delicious and the staff is incredibly friendly. I ordered the General Tsao chicken and shared the Pu Pu Platter with someone. The portions are large as well. Although I believe most people tend to order the food as takeout, I sat down to eat with my friend and the manager allowed us to have complimentary drinks, which was sweet of her. Very good takeout chinese. This is not your ordinary "New House of China Wok Kitchen Chef" that all have the same basic menu. They use better ingredients and therefor have a better product. With that said you have to expect to pay a little more then the standard chinese carryout. It is well worth it. read more
