I love that they are open on Christmas! It's one of our traditions to order Chinese. Their Kung Pao chicken is pretty good but there wasn't a lot of meat. I liked their vegetable chow mien and their rice isn't bad either. It will get ya by in a pinch. read more

I called and spoke with a female @ China House and asked for delivery. The female on the phone was very professional as well as articulate and explained all the food options that I had questions too. I purchased the Shrimp fried rice and the Roasted Pork with Veggies Dinner combo (which apparently comes with a drink). I didn't really need the drink since I'm drinking beer but got it anyways:-) lol I called at 8:31pm and the food showed up at 8:49. read more

I have had lunch here a handful of times, and it's been consistently good. I have noticed over the months that the prices tend to fluctuate a lot which turned me off for awhile. When I returned it seems like they reduced the price, then yet another time put the price back up again. I can find similar quality closer to home and for slightly less. read more

The good .... It's mediocre Chinese food. Not great but there are worse places in Lacey. The bad... I didn't know it was common practice to tip yourself if the total line is left blank. It was my fault for leaving it blank but due to the dishonest actions of adding your own tip for a takeout order I will never be back nor will my family. read more

Food was good! Had it delivered and it was a little cold but I guess it's what to expect when delivered. I ordered online and it was delivered in about a half hour. The BBQ ribs, garlic shrimp, hot and sour soup and beef chow mein were really good. I will definitely eat here again! read more

I ordered food- wasn't worth the $50.00 I paid. Completely overpriced. My kids didn't like it, and neither did I. The only thing good about this place is that you can order food, and the delivery was faster than I thought it would be. I read the reviews online and thought this seems like a great place.... I was wrong. Placed an order over the phone for two combo dinners. When I arrived there was a few people at the tables eating and a woman at the front counter on the phone. Yes she was on the phone, but she never one looked up or acknowledged I was standing there- FOR 5 MINUTES. When she finally got off the phone she didn't once say " We're busy sorry for the wait, or anything". Asked what my order was, proceeded to tell her I had a pick up. Gave her my card, no tip cause she didn't do anything worth tipping for and was on my way. I told her to have a great evening but got nothing in return. I drove the 30 minutes to JBLM to drop dinner off for my husband to pull into the lot and realize they didn't give us drinks- like what?! So I called and the same gal said "Our customers grab them and know to do that" To my response of " Well I'm a new customer and no one informed me, I just drove 30 minutes to find out I had no drinks. " She got the manager who told said I should know to grab the drink as the drinks get warm if they put them in the bag. He then said I could drive back to get the drinks or I was out of luck. NO SIR I PAID FOR THEM, he refused to give me a refund. I then drove the 30 minutes back to there- best part in my opinion- walked in, girl was sweeping the dining area said nothing to me. Manager was in the back made eye contact with him yet said nothing to me. So I stood there for maybe 30 seconds at the counter and no one did anything. So I opened the cooler and grabbed my two drinks. Stood there for a few more seconds, still no one said a think or acknowledged me. SO I TOOK THE DRINKS AND LEFT!! I then sat in my car facing them and I could see them in there looking at me in my car, yet neither one came out to say or stop me from taking off with the drinks. I'm now home just waiting for the cops to knock on my door in regards to me picking up MY DRINKS that I PAID FOR. MORALE of this entire story. Eating in might be fine as you'd get everything you ask for, but getting take out NOT WORTH IT. read more

This place has delicious food HOWEVER I just placed my order tonight as a delivery order. Got a call about 2 min after my order was placed and was told the prices went up today and my order was going to be an additional $1 per item ordered. I am now having to pay more because their website didnt reflect the accurate pricing. When I mentioned it to the manager she said it was there error on their end and the website didnt reflect like it was supposed to. She also said because it was a delivery order she could not discont my order to honor the website pricing but if I wanted to drive to the restaurant to pick up my order they could discount it. That kind of defeats the purpose of delivery. If the website would of reflected the price increase I honestly probably wouldnt have noticed the difference it was the way they went about the situation that deters me from giving China House my business. This place has also forgotten the same item on my order 3 times in a row which in those cases they have sent a delivery driver to drop that item off. I was going to let it slide BUT now after this situation we will no longer be ordering from this establishment. POOR POOR POOR customer service. read more

My kiddos and I just tried this place for the first time tonight and I have to say that there food was amazing. My daughter got the beef and broccoli and the vegetables when not mushy at all and the beef was perfect and my son and I got the sweet and sour chicken and my son is a very picky eater and he loved it and so did I. I won't eat here ever again. The girl who took my order on the phone was extremely short and very condescending. Despite living down the street and having a very short order the food took over 45 minutes even though I was told it would take 15-20. It was very expensive an order of orange chicken and a couple sides came out to $35. Although the establishment is not 5-star elegant, the Chinese food is great and the service is friendly. They accept call in orders and the food is not prepared until they get your order. I always get chicken and broccoli with chicken fried rice. My food is always hot and fresh. Vegetables are always fresh which is probably the best part. They do a great job putting the right ratio of savory and salty to the sauce. I also love their rice. Would say is better than panda express, safeways food, and in my opinion better than emperors palace by the mall or that one next to target by the mall. Love going here. It is a good food choice to keep me fueled throughout my day. Staff has always been friendly to me, and ive never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my food. They even have chopsticks and a good selection of condiments and such. I would reccomend trying this place if you havnt and want too. read more

First visit was a very good experience. Did error in ordering, getting a very large order which will be enough for 3-4 meals for me ($12). It is very good. Have Broccoli Beef with a lovely sauce covering perfectly crisp-tender florets & plenty of beef strips. It was a pleasant surprise and I will go back for take out. I cannot remember being so disgusted with served food before. My friend and I ended up paying the tab and walking out of the restaurant after only a few bites. The fried rice was terrible. It tasted and smelled like burnt grease and the sauce was also really bad. Both the rice and the lo mien tasted like the kind you would get frozen in a bag from the grocery store. The chicken we got was also terrible smothered in some kind of country fried gravy and really very soggy. Love this place! The people are friendly, the food is soooo good, and they deliver to my neighborhood! What more could I ask for? Some of the best dishes are the Lo Mein and the Vegetable Fried Rice. My wife trusted me to go out and find us something good and fast, for a quick dinner on Wednesday. I stumbled upon China House, and although the place is rather nondescript and poorly decorated, I thought I would take a chance. I was not expecting gourmet, but Chinese food is not rocket science, so what could go wrong, right? Well, I really blew it with this spot. The 3-meat dish with veggies was very greasy, and the meat (could not tell which animal it was carved from) had a very strange flavor with the texture of old shoe leather. Again, not expecting 5-star, but this was on the cusp of inedible. I would not eat here again if they paid me double the $25 spent. Yes, it was that bad. Fortunately, our Beagle will eat anything, so it was not a total loss. He gives it 2 stars. Avoid this place at all costs. Microwave Chinese from the supermarket would be several orders of magnitude better that what they are serving here. read more

Okay so I had a super long day at work and all I wanted was some chicken fried rice, I called in an order but I forgot my wallet at work. When I found this out I was already at the restaurant, one of the workers immediately pulled out his wallet and paid for my food. This is by far the most genuine and friendly place I've been.
