Frankly if I could leave zero stars, I would. I have been coming here for years and always had generally positive interactions with the staff and have scarcely had any problems with my orders. Unfortunately, my last few visits have been tremendously unpleasant. My food has been frequently incorrect and disappointing, lacking the flavor and quality I have spent a long time loving. The owner of this establishment is incredibly disrespectful and offensive, and I have seen negative interactions between the owner and other customers besides just myself too many times to brush it off as a bad day or two. Blatant disrespect of your customers, the ones who keep you in business-- especially those who have been coming here for years like myself, is completely inexcusable. For a long time I have enjoyed the service and food at this location, and I am saddened and disappointed to say I entirely refuse to return. I will not be, nor stand for others to be, disrespected so horrifically by people to whom we are giving business. To be quite honest, it's disgusting and repulsive that someone could speak to and treat their customers with such horrific behavior. It is ridiculously unprofessional, and embarrassing on behalf of the entire establishment. You should be ashamed and embarrassed of the treatment myself and many others have received. They have dialed in the taste (chicken is juicy), pricing, and portion size. The world is littered with dry teriyaki, but this place is an oasis in the desert. Staff is a skeleton crew (Korean family?) so you gotta be ready to do some bit of self service (water, napkins, chop sticks, etc). I was visiting from out of town and decided to stop. The restaurant is tucked into a strip mall. I'm so glad we decided to stop. The lunch special was affordable and had a big portion. All of us preferred the chicken teriyaki with gyoza and egg rolls. Everything was hot and fresh. The gyoza were crispy. The teriyaki was the star of the afternoon. Had the salmon teriyaki. It comes with salad and white rice. I asked to sub more salad as I don't eat white rice very often. The owner was quite willing to make the change. Really big portions. I ordered shrimp fried rice and tofu yakisoba and the food was filled to the top of the container. Totally worth it for the quantity alone but my son really liked the rice and my husband almost finished the yakisoba. I kid you not there was more fried rice in the container then I make at home! Plus side the shrimp was cleaned throughout, some places don't clean their shrimp all the way and its such a turnoff. I would definitely come here again if I pass through this area. read more

Service was cold and very unfriendly. This was my first time coming in and already I got a bad impression. She didn't have people out the door, she just looked annoyed. I was looking on the menu for a lunch special and she just stood there staring at me. Not helpful at all. I finally found the specials and began to order, she replied in a noticeably annoyed tone to anything I asked. I ordered 2 bowls. One for my husband that I was going to drop off at his work and one for myself. I ordered a sweet and sour chicken. Usually the sweet and sour sauce is on the side, anywhere else I've gone to. Not here, so if you don't like soggy sweet and sour anything, I would let them know in advance to not slap it on and drench your bowl in it. I asked if I could substitute the rice for the garlic noodles, and at first she told me no and then after she made up her mind, she said it would be a $3 up charge for them. I like garlic noodles so I didn't mind paying extra. You would think that if your paying extra that they would serve you noodles the way they pack in the rice. It literally doesn't cost them that much more to include noodles, so why are you so STINGY with the noodles? What special thing do you do to them other that make them taste like garlic and fry them with soy sauce. No veggies just noodles. To make things worse, I could see why they drowned the sweet n sour chicken with sauce. The chicken was SO DRY that even with all that sauce I had a hard time eating it. What's even more interesting is that as I was waiting in my order, the lady got a few male Caucasian customers and she suddenly got really friendly. Smiling, laughing, bowing and oh so helpful. Whatever, people are who they are, as for me, I won't be recommending them to anyone at my office nor here. Not to mention I will be finding a happier teriyaki somewhere else. read more

Oh lort, its been a minute since I've been back. This time around I got the sweet & sour chicken and while fresh is ok (a smidge on the tough side), it is next to impossible to eat if you end up with leftovers, the chicken becomes hard as a rock. I'm mostly sad that anywhere else I get sweet & sour chicken it comes with pineapple chunks with green bellpepper mixed in, this is just breaded chicken with a sweet & sour sauce on it. She help me figure out what exactly I was able to order not having an up-to-date menu. Food was quick I was happy to see their Covid policy and very clean and a structured sanitize procedures. What a great surprise! After months of lockdown we yearned for a good Japanese of Chinese dinner. For the five of us we ordered Orange Chicken, Terriyaki Chicken, Chicken Fried Rice, Miso soup, and Fried Rice side dishes. Way too much! We have enough left over for 3-4 lunches. Next time we'll order the entrees and perhaps one side of rice. The ingredients were terrific and the cooking perfect. Even after a 30-minute drive, dinner tasted great and was plenty warm. Two suggestions: the Miso was salty and vinegary, perhaps a difference in taste. It would be great if they'd add hot and sour soup. It would also be wonderful if they could add more pork and beef offerings. But even with those comments, Niko Teriyaki is now our go-to place and well-deserving of five stars. read more

We preferred to not eat inside because if COVID 19 and were going to eat in our car. Instead, we moved two chairs they had outside the door to a nice shady place a few feet away. Soon, they brought us a little table and two bottles of water to make us even more comfortable. The meal was, as usual, absolutely delicious.
