I'm not huge on Chinese food but we ran across this place while in the shopping center last week. While waiting for our food there was a group of elderly gentlemen having dinner & we heard them say it was the best fried rice they ever had. We had pork lo mein, general Tao chicken, fired rice, mixed soup, egg rolls, spare ribs & crab Rangoon. My husband & I agreed it truly was one of if not the best Chinese food we've ever had. We found it on Thursday and are ordering again today. The best! There are some bad reviews here, please know that management changed a few months back so those reviews are out dated. This place was great! My hubby got the Sweet & Sour Chicken, real white breast meat, fried just right and the sauce was perfect, not too sweet nor sour! I had the Sesame Chicken with Pork Fried Rice, and it was fantastic! The Sauce on the Sesame Chicken balances sweet with sour quite nicely, and there was just enough sauce on the crunchy fried chicken pieces so as not to get soggy, but I wasn't left wanting more sauce. The Wonton soup was good and hot and very tasty and the wontons were plump and juicy with all kinds of good stuff! The eggrolls were delish as well. Excellent food! My husband and I went to China Hut on a whim and are glad we did. It's the best Chinese take out food we've ever had ! The egg rolls were crisp and not greasy. The vegetable foo young was delicious with a light gravy on the side. The steamed vegetables were perfectly al dente and fresh. The dish chow mei fun is now a favorite as the thin rice noodles were lightly seasoned and yummy! The staff was friendly and service was quick . We will be back real soon . read more

Wrong item delivered. Called to alert them of the mistake and was told "Well sorry but we are really busy." Was advised that I had to pay full price for the wrong item unless I get in the car and bring the wrong item back to them. They know I'm not doing that bc I ordered delivery, so they just get to keep the money and deliver whatever they want. She hung up on me when I started to ask questions. This food was the worst Chinese food I have had in YEARS. The sweet and sour chicken was very greasy with the oil dripping all over the take-out plate and was over done. The other plate we ordered was also a chicken dinner. The Celery was uncooked and the chicken was hard as a rock (way overdone). The fried rice was so bad that it was uneaten and thrown out with the garbage that night. This is one take out place I would not recommend to anyone even my worst enemy. I visited China Hut about 10 yeas ago. It was the typically awful Chinese take out one finds in South Florida. Hot and Sour soup that seemed to be 50% oil. About two visits convinced not to return, Recently, I noticed a very appealing spicy, hot pepper smell coming from the restaurant. I have found this is usually a good sign. I patronized them for several months, It started well, but the quality slowly declined. The last straw was finding 2 or 3 very long strands of hair in my entree. Completely unacceptable. Amazing Chinese food! Great portions and super great taste. Had the boneless spare ribs dinner, it was fantastic. The wontons in the wonton soup were soft and full of meat. For take out, this is the place. They are really nice and fast. The food is really good, and my family will tell you, I am not a Chinese food eater. I will have to say, that I will eat here. We order the family pack plus krab rangoon and chinese donuts. Their general tso is good, and i love the szechuan chicken. I was going to this Chinese takeout place, China Hut a try and it's not what others have mentioned about great food. The first time I ordered on a Friday night, they screwed up by forgetting one main dish ( I order 3 entrees and 1 large soup). Mind you, the entree they missed had the sauce and the eggroll in this order. I went home afterward and saw this entree missing. I called them and told them I am coming back to get it. I spoke to a young guy when I picked up my first order but when I came back, an older lady was at the register. All I asked when I picked up my honey garlic chicken dinner, was why it was forgotten. All she said, shrugged her shoulders and said I Don't Know!! No apologies for their mistake and their food overall is subpar. I am from the DC area, Chinese food cannot be matched with it's authentic taste and great portions. This is the first and last time I will try again. Ordered hot & spicy shredded beef, hot & sour soup, and 2 other dishes. The hot & sour soup was good. The shredded beef was Mongolian beef. I called to complain and they argued with me telling me that Mongolian beef has vegetables and shredded beef has beef strips. Well the dish I had contained Broad beef and vegetables. She refused to admit they made a mistake telling me it was my fault. The only reason they got 2 stars instead of 1 is that the soup was good. Give me a break. 1st time in 17 years that I haven't paid cash and under new owner; that's the way I was treated. Like a marginalized sub-human customer. Ownership changed last month,so the cook is gone. I ordered a few of my favorite dishes and the food has gone way downhill. The sesame chicken tasted...off, ok at best and the chicken and broccoli, my other favorite, was barely edible. Never Again. I had been a steady customer for about 14 months. My last order included some dishes that were just awful. The Curry Chicken was so hot that you couldn't put it in your mouth. It was also so full of Curry powder that the chicken pieces felt like they were coated in talc. The Beef Chow Fun was a nightmare; way too wet and slimy w/ tasteless , rubbery beef. I can't see how they even have the nerve to call it Chow Fun. The Woman owner had always been "nice" to deal with so I thought that bringing food back would be the type of feedback she'd appreciate. Since I ordered after 8PM on Monday I waited until Tuesday noon to return the food. I politely told her of my complaints and showed her the 2 worst dishes - not wanting a refund but rather a CREDIT for the next time I ordered ( anyone can have a bad day, even a cook) I was surprised when she disagreed with me as to the Chow Fun telling me it was supposed to be like that! and that maybe the Curry Chicken was too hot but I should have brought all of it back. When I explained to her that the Missing portion of the chicken was actually spit out by my wife and me ,She seemed not to believe me thus insinuating I tried to "get over" by eating half the dish before bringing it back! Sad. Worst of all on the two dishes I paid $18 for ,she offered only $2 back for the Chicken& $10 back for the Chow Fun ! How petty and foolish. She has lost a good customer. Instead of credit towards my next order I took $12 in Cash and I told her I will NEVER place an order with China Hut Again. Lesson: If you stand by your product when there are no complaints and gladly take my money, you should stand by your product when there is a complaint. read more
