I have gotten take out a couple times from here since it's close to me. Their hot and sour soup is decent but lacks some flavor. I wish it was a little more hot and sour. Their fried rice is really good, I do enjoy that as do my kids. I didn't try the egg flour soup but my husband and kids did and said it was a little bland. Their kung pao chicken was pretty good, good flavor and the meat was white meat. Which I appreciated! My kids enjoyed the lo mein as well, I I didn't try it but they said it was good. They used to be pretty good. We ordered through DoorDash tonight. Our cashew chicken had a couple of cashews, very little chicken, almost all carrots and celery. The Pineapple Chicken was the same. The egg foo Egg Foo Young used to be great: it tasted like a pancake with almost all flour. We used to love their restaurant but will not order there again. A non-horrible Chinese diner. The big thing in their favor was a nice kiss-of-the-wok, that imparted exactly what you want with the back-flavor of your stir fry meal. That was the highlight. Complimentary soups were the same as you've had in countless other joints like this. Apps were not house made, and the egg rolls were paltry for the price. I liked the family that was running the place. Spent $30 to door dash this ... it's most fried breading and oil. It made my stomach hurt 5 minutes in. The noodles did have a good flavor, I read reviews that mentioned that... but they were covered in oil! The chicken was just plain gross, and the sweet and sour sauce was not good. Came here during my lunch break. Didn't really know what to expect but it's a really cute little spot. Came in and the server said to sit wherever. Sat in a booth towards the front to see the weather and also invade I needed to leave because didn't want to be late getting back. It took a little longer to get a menu because the server was busy. Got on and tea which was nice The server took my order and returned with the soup It was as so good. Spicy and filling. The egg roll came and it was awesome. Hot crispy loaded with everything you would want. Entree came the orange chicken with rice and noodles. Definitely couldn't want more. Chicken was crispy and not drowned in sauce the noodles were just the right amount of oily and hit the right spot. Even though the server was busy she still was able to check back and see if everything was alright. Our sweet and sour pork was neither sweet or sour and the sauce was watered down and bland. The pork was barely there and consisted of way more breading than protein. Really good fried rice, always my husbands favorite! The rest is okay. Our last order consisted of 2 orders of pork fried rice, shrimp noodle soup, hot and sour soup and lastly General Tsos along with fried crab/cream cheese wontons. Fried rice- delicious as always.(could use a bit more egg). Shrimp noodle soup- husband said was good, although small quantities of shrimp and all placed on top of soup. Maybe 6 small shrimp. Hot and sour soup (one of my favorites normally) not good. I've had hot and sour soup from all over the united states, never did I have this "soup" that was soooo thick it was like trying to drink down hag fish slime - same consistently I imagine. Plus, it had a only what I can described as rotten meat flavor..not sure what was up with it. I threw it out. General Tsos- this is how I judge any Chinese restaurant I go to. Normally, its tangy, more spicey than sweet and has a brown sauce. Chicken in batter and cooked crispy. This Generals is very sweet. It's in a gushy batter (no crunch to speak of) falling off the chicken and no heat. It's closer to sweet and sour chicken in other Chinese restaurants, but gushy coating. I've eaten it several times from this restaurant so I know it wasn't a mistake and sweet and sour was mistakenly put in the container. I believe in trying several times due to one off chances. The crab/cheese wontons - are fairly good, although there is at most a teaspoon of filling right in the center, leaving mostly unfilled fried wonton and cooked flat, not the normal pocket style. The dipping sauce, which is normally like a sweet apricot flavor was light pink and watery and was just really sweet..not sure what flavor it was supposed to be. All in all - go for the fried rice. My families tried other shrimp dishes here which they enjoyed, although, I personally can't speak for those dishes. I hope this review helps. My background if it helps: I'm a huge Chinese food lover (American Chinese for the most part so I'm not a "real Chinese" food snob). I've traveled all over the United States and abroad where I've tasted hundreds of versions of General Tsos...fried rice etc..so I have a fairly good idea of how its supposed to taste, but it doesn't make me an expert, nor qualify me for preferred regional specific tastes. Reasonable Chinese food for north Idaho. It really depends on your palate. I mean in the end most Chinese food is good because it's full of starch and sugar. It's the balances of spice and culture specific flavors that make the difference. This is better than panda express so enjoy. read more

The worst Chinese food we've ever had. The cashew chicken had no flavor and only bits of chicken. The rest of the small portion was filled with carrots and celery. Totally disgusting and a waste of time and money. They don't tell you about the extra service and delivery fees in addition to the huge tip they require. Grubhub was supposed to ring the doorbell, but instead, left the food and ran away. If you like flavorless, overpriced, disgusting food, then this is your place. I used to love this place so I used door dash for delivery. Door dash was great. Food was picked up and delivered hot and quick. When we opened the food it was all there and still hot but the food was extremely bland. Chicken chow main had like 2 pieces of celery and the rest of it was soft noodles and sauce. No flavor. Breaded sweat and sour chicken was lots of breading and almost paper thin chicken. Almond chicken was no better. Fried rice was super dry. You are much better off with Panda Express where they use fresh veggies and good cuts of meat and much more economical read more
