my friend and i sitting at work decided we wanted to get soup we called uber eats for china king with a very simple order a drop soup wonton soup and vegetable spring rolls... i am not one to complain but i've got a gaggle of stuff wrong here for starters both soups were extremely yellow definitely food coloring hardly any egg in the egg drop and the wontons had a tiny little piece of meat and were all thick dough like noodle, we asked for house mustard they did not give us , the spring roll i wish i took a picture before throwing it out was one stick of dough with maybe two little pieces of cabbage and a appearance of a mushroom in there stiff like pvc never again will i go to them they used to be an amazing restaurant going back 5 years ago it's unfortunate.

Good food. Good service. Good prices. You get what you pay for, enjoyed their sesame seed chicken with shrimp fried rice, a personal favorite. Nothing to complain about but nothing too exciting here.

The food is always fresh and the people are very nice. The young chow fried rice is exceptional.

Food was really good. Typically you might get stuff too dry or too oily. But this was perfect. Also, really friendly!

Updated review to re-verify that this spot is epic. I have been trying to order something new every…read moretime I eat here. Last night I ordered to popcorn chicken and imagine my surprise when I realized it was one of my favorite dishes in existence: chongqing la zi ji. I love spicy food, but I am not one of those people who gets macho about it and tries to see how many Scoville's I can handle. No. Spicy has to have a purpose. It has to be delicious. It cannot exist solely to make something spicy. If you are like me, you have to order the popcorn chicken. Half of the dish is chiles - you can eat around them, that is acceptable. It is a hot, numbing, slightly crispy, umami, scallion-y, peanuty chicken experience from another world. I would go to battle for this dish. Other must haves: Peking duck (it's some of the best I've had, although I prefer it with buns not pancakes) Hot and sour soup Szechuan wonton Honey glazed spare ribs Crispy flounder filet Soup dumplings (of course) Pork and bamboo shoots (not on the menu) The guy who works there (possibly the owner) is super nice, and that is a huge added bonus.

Excellent new addition to Island Park, NY. While most of the old school Chinese restaurants have…read moredisappeared and others have gone "fusion" we now have China Pavilion offering all those favorites you've been missing. Starting with soup dumplings is a must. House special fried rice is a winner as is their traditional Chow Fun. Shumai dumplings are wrapped in a very thin and tender noodle pocket. This is not the owner and chefs first successful Asian restaurant and their attention to detail and taste is obvious. Private parking lot. Full bar. Excellent menu.
