I am very picky with my Chinese food, because often I am let down. Panda House of Baldwin is not the case. To start off, they have a website with online ordering available. The site is easy to navigate through even on your phone. Which is really helpful if you hate having to talk to someone to place the order. Everything is categorized flawlessly so it's simple to find what you're hungry for, or if you're feeling adventurous and want to try something new. The food is always fresh, delicious, and delivery is super fast so you're not getting cold food. All of the delivery drivers I have had were super nice and respectful of the property. They have lunch specials which give you more than enough food. And their combination plates come filled to the brim. I am a huge fan of their boneless ribs, and their fried wontons. The only complaint I have is that I never have any leftovers because I can't stop eating whatever I get. read more

UPDATE: This place is still all the good things my original review states. But the quality of the food, actually not the food but the cooking, has gone way down. It's tasting like cafeteria food. I hope they trade up to better cooking again, as the staff is always very nice and easy to order from. BTW, I tried ordering online and they don't take online credit cards. They got THE GOOD chicken wings. The big ones. If you want fries order separately even if you pay more because the portion in the meal is a bit small. The food hits different like the Chinese food from back in the day. Do not take this lightly. This is the Lowkey Chinese food spot. This is American-Chinese food with soul. We used to go to another spot but THANK GOD for Yelp because our fried rice prayers have been answered! This is the bean sprout, yellow color, fresh onion fried rice of my childhood back in Queens! The Lo Mein and Mifen are my husband's favorite and He is from Northern China where noodles are life! I cannot pick a star rating as I have not tried Panda House yet but I did come onto the website with the hope of printing out the menu but I cannot see printing out a 55-page menu. My wife and I are explorers and unfortunately our trip to this store ended with the food in the trash. We love General Tso's Chicken so we gave it a try. First off it was swimming in sauce and we each took one bite and it had the most awful taste, we just throw the food in the garbage. Unfortunately this is the nearest Chinese take-out place to my house. I have ordered from them occasionally over the years mostly out of desperation and foolish optimism that it might be okay "this time". They never fail to disappoint, noodle dishes are usually very greasy, and the staples like general tsao's chicken are at best average but usually overcooked fried chunks of meat swimming in sauce with the obligatory two pieces of broccoli. They prepare all of their vegetables on the raw side of crisp. On the service end, they are courteous and deliveries are prompt and accurate and on the one occasion when something was missing they quickly came back with what was missing. Dirty restaurant if was in NYC the DOH would've gave them a C rate. food is terrible not only that but even the item that nothing can go wrong with they screw it up. paid $20.50 and 1$ tip for a meal that we wind up putting it in garbage. 8 Shrimp Egg rolls and 1shrimp fried rice. We do not eat pork. we end up having 5 pork egg rolls and tasteless rice.
