Wow! And double Wow! Visited China King's based on reviews here and by coincidence it was located in Downtown Leesburg, which I was driving through at the time. We were warmly greeted by a young man, who pretty much handled all of the small front of the house, as well as helping out on call-in orders. You order at the counter from a decent sampling of Chinese food. My wife ordered the beef and broccoli (B+), my son the Orange Chicken (A+) and I the Kun Pao Chicken (A+). My son and I agreed that our orders were by far the best we have ever had! And while we were making longing noises and we ate, we also learned that there was no way were were going to finish it all. So we packed up the remainder for later or tomorrow. As others have noted, the coating on the chicken was crispy, but in no way impacted the texture of the chicken inside. I cannot speak more highly of the sauce, which had a nice little kick to it. My only downer on this is that it is located so far from home, as I would be there weekly, if not more.

Great value and taste! Felt pretty authentic and filled me up well. Will definitely come back soon :)

Update from the first time trying this. We've been back many times and the food is always delicious. The general tsos chicken has an amazing slight fresh ginger flavor. The spice level is perfect and the chicken is always fresh and hot. The texture is also perfect. Most places have soggy chicken with the sauce added, but this place has the right texture, temperature, flavor, and the portions are great. Highly recommend this restaurant. Also the spring rolls and slightly different for the flavor than other Chinese places and it makes it really tasty. They are crispy as well. The kung pao is good also. This has become the only place that I will get Chinese food from because no place else compares. We drive 40 minutes from where we live to get there as well.

We were craving Chinese & not only did this place hit the spot, it def exceeded our expectations! It's not a huge restaurant but very family friendly for our fam of 6 (w 4 kids under 6yrs). The restaurant was clean, service was great--very attentive. Our kids all got water in kid-friendly paper cups, we needed a booster & high chair, all available. We ordered hot & sour soup, general tso's chicken, beef lo meinx2, Singapore noodles & some yummy chili oil on the side. All the food came out quick, scorching hot & VERY tasty. We had very little leftover. 100% recommend this place & we will for sure come back when in the area! Don't let any of the bad reviews sway you, I'm sure glad I didn't.

Tastes like $2 Chinese food. Check out the beautiful dishes they have. Skip this S$ithole and goto Panda Express.

Beautiful ambiance. Just kidding. What a s$itthole. Used to be great. Bad take out. BTW. Wanna eat in ? They serve you in plastic take out containers while eating in! Not joking. Paper cups in soup and entrees in plastic Best news Is it comes out at 12000 degrees after they microwave this slop. So sad to see this. It will be gone soon.

Good food, family owned for decades. Mostly carry-out business but has a few tables for dining. Good soups & shrimp dishes are my fave.

Why four stars instead of five: Egg drop soup was a bit off on flavor, but the hot & sour soup was spot on. No spare ribs, but this was the day after Thanksgiving and they probably didn't get a delivery. As with many of the Chinese restaurants in Northern Virginia, they only have spring rolls, no egg rolls. The sizzling beef with scallops was light on both, but the flavor was excellent. Overall, it's a good choice for Chinese food, but probably not the best around. We'll keep looking.

Unfortunately, I really regret coming. I should have trusted the reviews. For $24.99, the selection was extremely limited, and there wasn't much worth eating. The food was disappointing, and it definitely wasn't worth the price. The plates and utensils also looked dirty, which made the experience even worse. I wanted to cry watching my hard earned $24.99 disappear. I will never come back. In my opinion, this buffet is nowhere near worth $24.99. If it were $9.99, maybe it would make sense. Based on my experience, I wouldn't be surprised if this place goes out of business.

I really appreciate your work ethic and that you worked so hard even though you were the only person who was there. This man single handedly made our order of 4 trays, meaning we got 4 spring rolls, 4 parts fried rice, and orders of Lo Mein, Double Fried Pork, General Tso's, Kung Pao. That is a lot of food and I respect you greatly. Now onto the review. Walking into this restaurant we were greeted by a sticker that said, "People love us on Yelp" immediately prompting me to look at all parts of the restaurant as to make a great review. We were excited and hungry when we walked in and asked for our order as stated above. And as stated above there was only one man who worked there. Because he was the only man there, it took 42 minutes of waiting for that food to arrive and although the food was pretty tasty, it wasn't nearly worth the wait. I already stated my gratitude towards the worker there and I'll do it again. The Spring Rolls we had were fine and seemed average maybe a little below average. The Fried Rice was the same, I've had better I've had worse. Plus it was luke-warm. The General Tso's was absolutely PEAK! It was spot-on man. Same with the Kung Pao which tasted really good. The Lo-Mein however had minimal flavor and needed soy sauce and more veggies. The Double Fried Pork was very chewy but the sauce was really good. Overall, I did like the food somewhat and the only problem was that we waited 42 minutes. If the workers there are reading this, I would recommend having at least 2 people on the job at all times because 42 minutes is way too long. If anyone is reading this review and goes to this restaurant, please bring your phone, go into the bathroom, lift up the lid on the trash can, and see if there is still a picture of that one man on the bottom part of the lid. Then post it on Yelp. I will check back and see if anyone complied. That is my side quest for you today.

Be prepared to hunt for the place if you've never been to the shopping center, which is quite close to Route 7. We were here around 4 p.m. on a Saturday. At that time of day, there was one occupied table. Ordering food means going to the counter and giving your order to the person working there, and then paying. They have a menu on the wall, but the woman working there told us to look at the paper menu. Apparently, the menu on the wall is constantly changing. Before coming, we decided to order Mongolian beef, ma po tofu, and two small bowls of hot and sour soup. At first, my husband couldn't find the Mongolian beef on the menu. I took a look and found it is listed under the chef's specials. We gave our order and also got a can of ginger ale from the refrigerated chest. After paying, we chose a four top table for ourselves. The food came out quickly! First, the hot and sour soup came. It was served hot and did have some kick to it. We both enjoyed it. It does have quite a few button mushrooms in it, which I gave to my husband. Just as we were finishing the soup, both our entrees arrived. We both liked the Mongolian beef (which also had an abundance of button mushrooms). The sauce was tasty, and the beef was tender. As for the ma po tofu, we thought it was okay but could have been better. It's a meat-free entree that basically has large pieces of tofu, a lot of thin, spicy sauce, and bits of green onions. We each were given generous portions of white rice. We would consider visiting again in the future, as the service was excellent. As for ambiance, it has a carry-out place feel. It's kept quite clean.

Finally, it came a day where we had time to go to Leesburg and try out their food. The ambiance was very much like the 90s Chinese restaurants - chandeliers, fish tank, and dark wood. We were seated immediately and were given water. My husband ordered a Shirley Temple ($3.50), while I ordered oolong tea. I was pleasantly surprised that it arrived in a tea pot (also 90s aesthetic) for $3! I easily got 3-4 cups of tea out of it. The oolong tea was perfectly steeped and warm enough to drink immediately. For food, we ordered sesame chicken, pork lo mein, and chose fried rice instead of steamed rice for the sesame chicken. Sesame chicken ($16)- the flavor was on point, but it wasn't as crispy as I like. Maybe there was too much sauce and it was originally more crispy Pork lo mein ($11) - I was hoping that it would arrive with red pork (char siu) and it did indeed!!!! The noodles weren't too oily and the char siu was roasted nicely, albeit dry in some pieces Side of fried rice - now, this is where it took a turn. It was hard from either not being cooked enough or from sitting out. We didn't enjoy this at all. Overall, we enjoyed the food and would come again for it as it's cheaper than most places around here. I also liked that you could pay right away with the electronic tablet they have.
