Stir fried pork and tofu, San bei ji, thickened pork soup
    Per R.

Our go to for Taiwanese takeout. It's legit! They have the best beef noodle soup in Monmouth County. We got their San Bei Ji (3-cup chicken) - delicious! The thickened pork soup was very flavorful. The stir fried pork with tofu was great as well.

Deep-fried "Meat Balls" (#2 on the menu) - SO GOOD

Have been here a couple times with family and friends and always left the restaurant with a VERY happy stomach :) FOOD - 5 stars - despite the name they serve some REALLY good Taiwanese dishes. Everything is so delicious! I love that the food is not too salty here. [DEEP-FRIED "MEAT BALL"] - MUST HAVE!!! I order this every time I come here without fail. The sauce is garlicky which I LOVE. You get two for $5 and they're quiet filling! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. [OYSTER OMELET WITH SAUCE] - more like a saucy pancake than an "omelet". well worth the $11 with all the oysters in it! Very delicious. [BRAISED BEEF NOODLE SOUP] - very good broth with tender beef (thick slices and lots of it!) It also has a nice kick of spice (but not overly spicy). AMBIENCE - 4.5 stars - the restaurant is attached to a bowling alley. the whole place has a pretty retro vibe to it but everything is well maintained and feels very clean! exterior can use some improvement. *They also have a bar which is quiet rare for a Taiwanese restaurant/bowling alley. Love it! Overall a very cozy place with solid good food. Will definitely come back for more!

You will NEVER believe that you can get Taiwanese food so authentic and delicate in this part of the country, where there are some Taiwanese people but really not a large community. Must come by and check it out to believe it!

This place is open for Take-out. No dine-in for now. Very authentic Taiwanese food, good portions and reasonably priced.

The food was mediocre at best. The service left much to be desired. I will not eat here again...ever. wish I could have given it 1/4 star.

The sauce had just enough numbing warmth without overpowering the dish, and every bite was incredibly satisfying. Beyond the appetizer, the restaurant offered a warm atmosphere and attentive service that made the dining experience even better. The presentation was thoughtful, portions were generous, and the flavors tasted authentic and carefully prepared. Glad I made a reservation via Google Assistant b/c it was a full house plus tons of people waiting (1hr) for their takeout orders. Great sign! We ordered quite a bit for 3 of us b/c we're excited to try them out. We loved them all especially the wontons in the authentic sauce as it should be (not in sesame or peanut sticky sauce), the salt/pepper chicken as how I remembered from back home, the delicious noodle soup with tender beef and tendon, and the flavorful black bean fish. The restaurant is nice and clean. They're busy but the kitchen was pretty quick. The waitress brought out the dish as it's done, not waiting to serve all dishes at once. We actually preferred this way. The wait staff were attentive and friendly. We really enjoy our dinner. It's less than 30 min for us; we will definitely return to try some Sichuan dishes.

We were quickly and warmly greeted by the young woman working behind the desk. She was finishing up an order and then took ours. I always stick to my tried and true favorite of Thai milk tea with boba. I would give my Thai tea a 4/5- it was tasty, but lacked a bit of the stronger/earthy flavors other Thai teas have. My husband got the pineapple tea. He forgot to request boba, so his was just the drink without the bubbles. I liked the stronger flavor of his tea more than mine. The cups were adorable, with cat shaped covers and ears popping up. If you are heading down the shore and are in the mood for a bubble tea, this is a good option. They also offer tangulu (fruit dipped in crunchy, clear sugar coating). We did not try it this time, but I will definitely be back to give it a taste. The only thing that really upset me, was that when I asked her to please raise the heat (it was very cold in the restaurant), she didn't. I left the waitress a $20 tip upon the insistance of my boyfriend. I was very disappointed that she didn't raise the heat. After all it was a raw, rainy day today. The kind of cold that seeps into you bones. I will go back there but will take the food home. I won't dine in until the weather gets hot.
