My daughter went to China a gogo and told us about it so when we were back in town, we stopped by the Boulder Highway location. They were very friendly. The place was clean. Parking was easy. We went for the salt and pepper shrimp, as well as the chicken and broccoli, which includes several other vegetables and the snow crab in how special sauce. We also got the shrimp fried rice and our order came with several orders of regular fried rice. Everything was delicious the spice level it wasn't salty the shrimp or scrumptious the broccoli was crunchy and I have to say I enjoyed it. I am not one to usually leave a negative review but I asked the woman point blank. Are your egg rolls the ones that are just not crispy and mushy on the outside or are the fresh with crunchy vegetables on the inside and fried crisp on the outside. Straight lied. These were some of the best salt and pepper shrimp. If I had in a long time, they're not overbred it like some places it's a strong flavor, pretty salty, but it really delicious. It was quick and easy to call in and then pick up the order. great service the ambience inside isn't super welcoming to sit down but nothing wrong with the inside. Mongolian beef personal dinner once again. You can choose between fried rice or chow mein. I went for the chow mein. The beef was tender but a bit chewy. It was delicious though. I love the slush drink as a balance to the spicy food. You order at the counter but it's table service from there. They checked regularly to ask how everything was and to see if I needed anything. Loved it! You know when you want that Chinese comfort food- this is that spot! Prices are comparable to the area, the best deal is the lunch specials available till 4pm even on weekends. I ordered the honey walnut lunch special with half fried rice and half chow mein. It was like $13 with tip and that's including the $1 extra for the honey walnut shrimp. The chow mein was exactly what I was hoping for and not too oily or too dry and very flavorful. I'm picky with my Chinese food, actually I'm picky in general so when I take the time to review a place it's because it was good enough for me to recommend trying. The honey walnut shrimp was great and a decent portion size. I will absolutely come back especially to try the eggplant tofu and the beef sesame dishes next, the looked good. They also sell soda cans, it look like they sell iced coffee in the back and they had a signs advertising boba. Inside is a tiny spot but cozy feeling. This appeared to be a brand new location of a popular Las Vegas Chinese take out brand. The location sits right across from Sam's Town snug in a shopping plaza full of questionable people. Just like at other locations of this brand, i took some food to go. I could have also eaten there as there was plenty of seating, and it was clean. The food was ready quickly and was of good quality. We always pass by this little place since our nearest grocery store is next to it, and we had never gone? So the first time we got a delivery was after the entire social distancing took place. We also have picked up an order to go, and both times have been great. For delivery, I had the pork chops, steamed rice, egg rolls, and a drink. The food came fast, it was hot, and really delicious. I was so impressed with the flavor of the food, and also the portion. The veggie egg rolls are so tasty, so I got those for my pickup order the next time we went. The entire restaurant is not available for dine in currently. The staff all wear gloves and mask, and when you go into order your food, there's a small booth available for waiting. We went late and it was a little chilly, so we were able to wait inside for our food. Our food came out quickly, we went to a park and ate. The drive was about 10 minutes, and our food was still hot, in nice compartment containers, they gave us cutlery, chop sticks, and napkins, we didn't have to ask for them which was a plus. The overall flavor of China go go is great, the staff is friendly, quick, and the quality of the food is amazing. The only thing I would like to see in their menus is what an entree has mixed in like veggies, for personal purposes, and for allergies as well. Ok, I've never had China a GoGo because for some reason I believe places that end up being chains aren't as good as mom and pop shops, even if it's a local chain. We were looking for some Chinese food but my normal spot was closed so my boyfriend suggested we try China a GoGo, as he's liked it in the past. I was hesitant but pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes, taste and quality of the food. The hot and sour soup and the sesame chicken are the real stars here. Sometimes hot and sour can taste like a dirty kitchen sink but this one was literally spicy and the perfect amount of sour/vinergary. No mushy items floating within either. The sesame chicken was awesome! Perfect sweetness to salty ratio with quality chicken inside the breading. The other items we got weren't bad at all. Actually the whole meal was quite good. I can really get behind the chow fun and the beef broccoli too. I can't wait to try more items and go googoo for GoGo! read more

Came here and ordered a lunch special which came with fried rice , chow mein , and the entree which I chose the Kung Pao combination that had chicken , beef and shrimp in it. For dine in you would also get a cup of egg drop soup. But that is not available on TO-GO orders. Anyway. This meal was under $10. And they are very generous on the portions they give you. In my opinion. The food was ok. I didn't care for the chow Mein or the egg drop soup. But the Kung pao was decent. All I can say is you can't go wrong with the price and the portions. read more

And the progress at China A Go Go from order to meal is minutes where the orange cones is months. The Boulder at Nellis China A Go Go which sits across from Sam's Town and in a pad fronting the East Sides largest Walmart Supercenter opened a couple of months ago. I visited a couple of hours ago. I am very familiar with China A Go Go. From Boulder City at the south to Aliante Parkway and Deer Springs at the north, I have yelped several of their locations. My familiarity with the chain goes back far beyond joining Yelp in 2011. It was around 2006 when I first ate at the Valle Verde at Paseo Verde location in Henderson. From years of experience this is what I have to say: "There shrimp chop suey is the bomb." I'd like to add to that by saying that a few miles southeast of this China A Go Go their Boulder at Lake Mead restaurant served the best shrimp chop suey. So when I walked into this location guess what I ordered? Tadah! Shrimp chop suey. On the lunch menu, the shrimp chop suey with a fountain beverage added on came out to $9.46 after taxes. Because this is a restaurant where they bring the food to the table and clean it up, a tip is expected. Speaking of tips, I have one: hot sauce gives the soft chow mein noodles a lot of flavor. The lunch special includes soup of the day which for the past 15 years has been egg drop soup, fried rice, chow mein noodles, and crunchy noodles. I rate the meal 3.5 stars. A four star Chinese restaurant would be China Passion a few traffic signals north on Nellis. The way I rate places, 3.5 Stars equates to pretty good. read more

I'm writing this review as we eat right now. We ordered family A meal Order of chow men Kid order of chicken teriyaki And half order honey walnut shrimp Everything taste pretty good. The Mongolian beef is pretty spicy. The rice is ok not really as flavorful as i expected but the chow mein is on point. The orange chicken wasn't bad. Honey walnut shrimp barely was enough to share. The portions aren't really enough for a family of four. At least not in my house lol. Normally with Chinese food we have left overs. Tonight wasn't the case. The soup i didn't try because i would have rather had wonton soup. The kids meal was pretty nice but my nephew wasn't going to eat the broccoli. It was more veggies than meat and all the sauce spilled in my bag. They gave us two tiny egg rolls and two tiny Rangoon's but it would be nice if it was more of those. We only stopped here because I've been craving foil wrapped chicken and nobody knows what it is in my part of the country. I did a quick Yelp search to see where I could find it. Since I was there getting my Thrifty Ice Cream, I stopped here. We'd recently had lunch so I just got two orders of the chicken. We came back to our hotel room and eventually started opening our little foil presents. So good! I'd go back if we weren't going home soon. I'm actually really impressed with this place, considering what I was expecting. With a name like China a gogo, I figured it'd be the typical chinese fast food place where they have a limited number of dishes out under a heat lamp, like a Panda Express. But this place actually cooks everything to order. I had the salt and pepper shrimp and the string bean chicken. The shrimp wasn't like most of the salt and pepper shrimps I've had - usually they're the large size prawns and are pan fried. These ones are the smaller shrimp-cocktail sized shrimps, but they're more like breaded-fried. They were delicious though - spicy, but not overly so, and even though it was breaded-fried, it was not greasy at all. The string bean chicken was also really tasty. It may have been just a bit too heavy on the sauce, but that's a minor quibble. I will note that when I walked in to get my food, it was already ready, so I don't know how long it was there, plus the time I took to get back to my car and get home, and when I tried the chicken, dear god, it was still nuclear temperature-wise. I've literally never had chicken that hot before. At least I know it's fresh! read more
