Just awful, from when I ordered to when I ate. Firstly, I ordered online and (thought) I paid online, which apparently I didn't... my order was $17 and I didn't have any cash on me, so I tried to use my card, and the lady informed me that the min credit card purchase was $20. I said fine... I don't have cash. I got out my wallet and she proceeded to look over at my wallet and I had to show her I didn't have cash. Absolutely absurd. Then, I leave, and go back to school, and find that they didn't even get my order right. I ordered Sesame Chicken, which isn't supposed to be spicy, and they gave me General Tso's Chicken, which is most certainly spicy, enough so that I couldn't even eat it. Then the crab Rangoons I got were tasteless, at best, which a weird lukewarm filling that tastes like I'm chewing on cotton. I mean c'mon. Avoid this place like the plague, there's plenty of other Chinese takeout places near here. $17 wasted. read more

Ordered food the other day called to say my order was wrong and the lady on the phone got really rude and kept saying I was wrong , I loved this place went all the time ordered the same thing every time . I can't eat onions so I have to order without vegetables so I can't forget to say that or I can't eat the food. But I will be no longer going there after how I was treated. read more

Your typical suburban Chinese takeout with decent staples such as Sesame Chicken and Lo Mein. I got really excited to see Ho Fun on the menu, which is uncommon to find, and is somewhat close to an actual authentic chinese dish. Unfortunately, the Ho Fun is not as good as what you would get from a sit-down restaurant. Overall, average takeout. read more

My favorite chinese food! They always know my name after my first order which feels good! They call me back when I order online to make sure my order is correct and just the way I like it! I don't have to ask for my total or how long! Delivery drivers are very patient as I am not able to answer my phone while I'm at work! eaten here 3 times now, all 3 have been winners. steamed dumplings are legit some of the best I've ever had, massive amount of filling with light super-silky wrap. I eat General Tso up and down this country, and theirs is an all-timer. read more

When called in order for delivery I apparently was not fast enough to provide my credit card information, which angered the woman answering the phone to the point that she yelled at me. Then to top off the rude service the food delivered was all raw. When called back no body answered. Ordered 2 meals and a soup and ended up spending $25.00. With the quality of service and food I would have only paid if I was able to decide about half of that. One positive remark was the delivery driver was extremely nice. Recommendations: Get someone more personable to cover your phones, and maybe try cooking the food until its not raw. Not all of us are able to consume raw foods. If someone from the health department is reading through these posts I would strongly recommend a surprise health inspection of this facility. read more

This is only a 3-5 min drive from our new home so we decided to order a few dishes since we were too tired and cranky to risk venturing into the civilized world for a dine-in experience. The pepper steak was pretty tough and while I'm not expecting filet mignon, I do expect to be able to bite my meat with my incisors. The flavor was pretty good, though. The jumbo kung pao shrimp was better than at most take-out places; the shrimp wasn't overbattered and the sauce was flavorful without being overly greasy. The singapore mei fun wasn't fantastic or even that spicy but it was edible. I might add a caveat that the leftover version is not. They also have a bunch of tofu dishes and you can order it cooked however you want it. I asked for it to be cooked in a ma po, hot chilli-oil base, which they did decently well. Overall,a good place to get take-out. It's not 5-star cuisine but then again,. it's not meant to be. You go there for cheap, decent, fast Americanized Chinese food and that's what you get...in nicely sized portions, too. read more

A good place to stop in for a quick takeout.....I haven't eaten in there but it looks ok for lunch, this is a very basic strip mall setup. The prices are low and the quality ranges from very good (a quart of wonton soup packed with wontons for $3.50) to fair (combo platters of General Tso chicken, or Kung Pao Chicken come with basic fried rice and egg rolls) I have seen comments about rude service but the last couple times the service has been excellent so maybe they are reading the yelp reviews. worth checking out if you are in the area read more

This is your typical set up for American Chinese food take-out/delivery. The food is prepared by their short-order cooks and plopped into containers and the customers eat to their hearts' content. Unfortunately, it seems their customer service skills need a huge improvement. Due to where I work in a section of town that has more healthcare/social service offices among the other residences, there is severe lack of good food options. So, I've not much choice and when I want something decent that's not leftovers from home, I tend to opt for some sort of delivery. China Star was recommended as one such option and they also took orders over the internet. At some point, there was an issue regarding the delivery driver getting a parking ticket (local enforcement is getting a little heavy-handed here), Thinking it's not my problem, I decided to order again sometime later. Well, my most recent order got cancelled and I got chewed out by the store owner over the phone that they aren't going to be delivering to this area anymore because of the "parking ticket incident". If they aren't willing to be professional over such a matter, then I can't be bothered to order from them again. I wish them well, but I think they need to learn some decent manners and accept the hazards of the job... read more

Solid Chinese food. They are very clean and change oil frequently, you can tell by the taste of the eggrolls and General Tso chicken.

Ordered earlier with my family and we were missing food. I called them back and I got screamed at saying that I was wrong and that we got it all. My sister also got screamed at for calling. This is my go-to Chinese restaurant in this area (East Norriton/BlueBell). The food and service are amazing! I've tried other Chinese restaurants in the area and found that this place tasted better and the price was much more affordable. I buy food from here often that they know when I call to order. I am going to break this down by two points first food and 2nd service: Food: They serve a typical Chinese restaurant fare, it is decent but nothing special. I went there because it was cheaper than the other close by choice Golden Sea, but lacks their quality. Service: I have never had good service here, and the staff is also incredibly rude. The woman who works the counter is horrid, and treats customers like an inconvenience. I actually accepted this for a while, but the last time I went in was my limit. She didn't even get up or hand me my food. She took my money and then ignored me, expecting me to know which one of the two bags on the counter was mine. Because of this I will pay the extra 3 or 4 bucks and go to Golden Sea, they have always been very polite and their food is much better. read more

Delivery came in less than 25minutes. My foods were still hot and they included all the sauces. Delivery man wasnt friendly and they didnt include any forks or napkins but pretty satisfactory for delivery chinese food. The menu is what you would expect from just about any chinese restaurant and the prices were good. It smelled newly renovated like paint and glue kind of, but I didn't mind since I was getting take out. I ordered kung pao chicken combination plate. The flavor of everything was pretty good but not very spicy. The main problem I had was the quality of the chicken. It was overly fried, which isn't how I'm used to eating chicken in this dish, and inside of the fried-ness was a gristly chewy chicken like substance. I felt the need to write a review after noticing the negative reviews on here from 2011 and earlier. I moved to Blue Bell in 2011 and, unfortunately, didn't try this place until 2012 and have been in love with it ever since. I always get the chicken and broccoli, while my husband gets the bourbon chicken combo. We also love the shrimp toast, egg rolls, spring rolls. Oh, and one time we got teriyaki chicken which was good, although they put sesame seeds on top which I thought was weird. I've never had anything bad from here though. I would just say to check the bag and make sure that nothing was missed before leaving. One time we ended up getting home and realizing that an egg roll was missing, but with the traffic on 202 (and how hungry I was), I wasn't going back... so our loss. read more

Ordered delivery from the Courtyard. Came in 15 minutes, hot. The dumplings were some of the best I've had anywhere and I'm a dumpling maven. The ho fun was a little disappointing. The noodles and flavor was good but the pork was previously frozen and tasted a bit off. I would order again. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Staff was rude to us when we tried to put in an order. Started screaming through the phone and kept changing the prices while we tried to get the order straight. Worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. I will never order from here again. This is the best in the Pennsylvania suburbs.  Even holds it's own next to Chinese food in Brooklyn NY. My family has been ordering here since 2008 when we moved to Blue Bell. Cindy, the owner, is the best. Her motto was always "I will do my best for you." She and her staff have done that consistently over the years. I have even gotten my co-workers hooked. I work at a Well known Bank and the entire staff loves the food here. The food is always made fresh and delivered promptly so it is always hot. Any accommodations you may require (vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian etc.) They can do it! Keep up the great work guys! Worst Mapo Tofu I've ever had. The ingredients were all wrong and it was SWEET. If the tofu was just stir fried I could've at least eaten it. But it was like the chef used sugar instead of salt.
