In reading some of the negative reviews, I think it's important to remember that while a few people may have had frustrating moments during one of the busiest weekends of the year, there were also countless guests having wonderful experiences that same evening. Small businesses and restaurants are incredibly difficult industries, especially during high-volume weekends like Baylor graduation, and the people showing up to serve deserve kindness too. Our experience this weekend -- and every experience we've ever had at Diamondback's -- has been exceptional. You can feel how much every staff member cares about every guest who walks through the door, and that care extends all the way to ownership. The owner clearly does not take feedback lightly, and it's obvious she pours her heart into this restaurant and the people dining there. Even a guest next to us overheard and said the quality has gone downhill--she had sent hers back too. The only good thing was the drinks--dirty vodka martinis were solid.
