Absolutely my favorite Chinese restaurant. They have the best General Tso Chicken. I've tried from other restaurants and they don't compare at all, same goes for the egg drop soup. I've eaten in the restaurant twice and both times it was quiet, not very busy, and service is quick. We order for lunch at the office about once a month and we don't mind driving 25 minutes from home because it's so delicious. The portions dining in are also generous. read more

Worst Chinese food we ever had the food taste nasty. The beef is old and it's pure grease. And the waitress is really rude.

First time here: we had the Pad Thai, Happy Family (not shown) and sesame chicken. We took a gamble and a little drive to get here but all worth it. The food piping hot steam with each bite. Flavors were packed unique somewhat sweet with just enough spicy bang. Egg-rolls got that extra spicy peeper on the meat but oh my damn (had two order an extra) Portions: well, how we eat, each plate could have served two just nicely; but suggest you get multiple plates with some friends or family each sharing your choice. Food is not served family style. Meals are closer to fast food portions. Although, the portions here are pretty good for dining in. Takeout portions were definitely smaller. I had the Hunan Delight. It was marked spicy but really closer to mild so I added my own spices. 3 stars for their consistency in service and delicious takeout. I wasnt feeling great so instead of making Chinese myself I went ahead and ordered some Take Out from China Stix since they are so close to us. Wanted to give them another chance but... First the young guy behind the counter was rude and not very courteous nor helpful. I asked if what kind of fried rice did they have and he kept saying "fried rice that's it, that's it" like he was being bothered to actually have to answer a customer's question. Every Chinese restaurant I have ever been to has different types of fried rice- pork fried rice, vegetable fried rice, shrimp fried rice, etc, but not according to this moron. I saw some fried rice on a customer's plate and it looked like it only had regular rice in it. No meat or vegetables, no green onion and certainly didn't look fried. It looked like steamed rice with some soy sauce thrown in. When I make rice at home I use peas and carrots along with green onions and little bits of fried pork. Second after being rude and abrupt the entire time he made a sarcastic comment " Oh that's real nice" when Zero tip was given. I usually tip a little bit at counter pick ups, but when you're a lazy, unhelpful, rude a$$hole Im not going to tip you. So we get home and their egg rolls are tiny like the kind you can pick up from the frozen section at HEB. The food sucks and the food doesn't have very authentic sauces. Of course the fried rice isn't really fried rice. So damn simple to make. I guess next time I will suck it up and make it myself at home. It's hard to find good Chinese where we live in Bulverde. We drove by here and I looked up their reviews and they sounded good. We've been here at least three times. DH always orders Sweet and Sour Chicken. I've tried a few things (all good) but I really like the Chicken and Vegetables. It's our go to for Chinese. It was a quick, cheap lunch. I went for teriyaki chicken .. strange for it to be deep fried rather than grilled. The bed of lettuce under the chicken got soggy from the heat ... made the last third of the dish taste grassy. The fried rice has no veggies in it. My guest had chicken Kung pao. It was over the top with veggies, but he liked the flavor. However, he mentioned there should be heat, and there was none. Again, he did not care for the fried rice. So delish!! The walnut shrimp was absolutely delicious! Perfect amount of crunch and sweetness. The Kung pao chicken was equally as fabulous. Packed full of crisp vegetables and peanuts. The amount of food is excellent for the cost. Each entree could easily feed two people. Each one comes with rice and an egg roll. The egg rolls were pretty good as well. My mom and I have been coming to this place for years now and the last time we came here the old woman waitress who is always here was extremely rude to us, throwing everything at us, our waters, our plates, some lemons and not asking if we needed anything at all. She didn't refill any of our waters and would turn around to the next table and be nice to them and take their order and get what they needed but she treated us like garbage. And then when I told the guy at the cash register that she was awful to us he just kind of laughed about it, did not apologize, and had an awful attitude about it and about the fact that we were reporting what happened to him. I told him to tell his boss about how she is treating people and he mumbled and said he would but he isn't. This place is run by awful people who don't value repeat customers. Obviously they are understaffed or something but that woman is incredibly unhappy and exemplifies favoritism with customers. This place has no class and has no respect for their customers. It's our first time here with my 2 girls and the older lady ( I think ten or Jen) presumably the owner, was incredibly rude to us. She was so impatient and literally brushed us off when we tried to communicate with her, she grabbed our menus and left when we aren't even done ordering. She was not welcoming to us from the moment she saw us and really gave us the racist vibes. She was treating other people that are not of color with respect and kindness, but the moment she saw us her whole demeanor changed. I really felt bad for my girls that were there for the first time excited to try Chinese food. Please don't go here if you are a person of color . They are absolutely racist and rude . Delicious! Ordered last night for the first time and planning on eating here again. When trying new Asian restaurants, I usually opt for general Tso's to have a good baseline comparison for myself. However, took the restaurants recommendation and ordered the orange chicken. DELICIOUS! Balanced amount of sweet and savory (the tenderness worked too). Steamed rice was good. Spring rolls were as expected and not as oily as I've had at other restaurants. Crab Rangoon was ok, just a little chewy but some good flavor. I'll try another appetizer next time. I have always enjoyed their food. I love their dumplings, won ton soup, and a variety of dishes. I do have a bone to pick unfortunately. I recently ordered a lemon chicken meal. They have a minimum of $15.00 in order to get delivery. I was unable to leave my home so I order more items soI could get the delivery. They forgot the lemon sauce. I called and asked if the driver could bring me the sauce and offered to pay for another delivery. I was told the driver had too many deliveries and they could not accommodate that but offered me a credit. If you've ever order Lemon chicken you know the lemon sauce makes the whole dish and without it you're basically eating a dry breaded flavorless chicken strip. The fried rice was also flavorless and really dry. How you get dry rice is a mystery to me but thats the only way I can describe it.​ The won ton soup was great as always. I'm a reasonable person and understand mistakes happen especially during dinner rushes. They offered a credit so I called to cash in my credit and was told the only credit was for the lemon sauce. I asked how do you credit a sauce that comes free with the Lemon chicken meal? The transfered me to another person and he repeated the same information. He tried to explain that they charge for their lemon sauce but it's free when ordering the meal. I said again I'm ordering the lemon chicken meal and the sauce comes with the meal so you can't credit something that is already free. I was very disappointed on the lack if logic and integrity. I told the guy he made no damn since and that I would never order there again if that's how they treat people. I just feel I was more than understanding and reasonable. I really miss when people do the right thing because it's the right thing to do. I will not eat her again purely based on principle. read more

I was craving spicy Chinese food. I read a lot of reviews about this place before I decided to go and was a little apprehensive. Mainly about the menu price issues I read about. I walked into this restaurant today, 11.25.22 precisely when they opened at 11:00 am. The gentleman that greeted me was very nice and professional. I asked about the prices on the lunch menu if they were in fact correct and current due to what I read and he assured me they were. There is a note on the wall at entrance that states prices have changed and refer to the " online" menus as those prices are current. Anyway, I ordered the Broccoli and veg dish " spicy " as the hunan beef is and that is exactly what I got. Very pleased. I did have to ask for the hot chili oil, and I was not charged for it even though I told him I'd pay for it. Very nice place, very pleased with my food. read more
