As usual, i stumbled upon a Tiktok video of a young gentleman who got the crispy beef and salt & pepper shrimp! OMG... I just had to try the shrimp. They didn't have shells so I thought, perfect. Even better. I can pop them in my mouth easily lol. We arrived close to noon on a Saturday. Appeared busy with to go orders being prepped and customers eating but the workers were attentive any way with seating us. There is even outdoor seating, perfect if you want to bring your furbaby. We also were given a small bowl of wonton chips on the house to start. That was nice :) Service was definitely 5/5 for me. The young worker with the glasses was very nice and was quick with everything. I loved that she had the customer's best interest. Without her, we wouldn't have known that we can do the lunch special (I assumed because it was a Saturday, that we couldn't), or that an item not listed on the lunch special menu was included, or that we can sub an additional eggroll for the soup. As if her customer service wasn't already top tier, the girl is fluent in Spanish! We were shocked, but honestly, great to know for those who only speak Spanish, she's got you :) I also wanted to mention that there was somebody's kid hanging out but I thought it was the sweetest thing how he would grab candy from the front and gave them to customers when they were seated. The menu is big! Lots to choose from. We just ordered off their lunch special menu. I actually do not know the time frame for the lunch menu but we came on a Saturday. It was nice that they offered their lunch menu on the weekend. Currently, their lunch special is priced at $14.95. Comes with your choice of Egg Flower Soup or Hot & Sour Soup, Steamed rice or Fried Rice, and an egg roll. However, if you do not want soup, ask for an extra egg roll :) We tried both soups, both were good. Even topped off the soups with the wonton chips they give you. Anyways our order was: Orange Chicken, Salt and Pepper Shrimp, and Crispy Beef for the lunch special. Crispy Beef was NOT listed on the lunch special menu however, since I was just going to order an entree of it, the nice waitress asked if we would like it as a the lunch special. Yes, since you cannot beat the price for the amount of food you get. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! I will say, though the S&P shrimp is delicious, it leans more on the saltier side. But, your girl will order this over and over as long as I have a good amount of water. I love the flavor regardless, and it is crispy. The crispy beef was crispy and delicious too; great flavor on it. The orange chicken, was exactly how it should be. Order it if that is your go to Chinese food order. Eggrolls were just veggie rolls but honestly, not bad. Perfect veggie rolls actually. I would order these items again. Bottom line, this is now my favorite Chinese restaurant. As soon as we walked in, the server immediately told us they were already closed. My mother politely pointed out that the posted closing time was 10:00 PM and simply asked if the kitchen happened to close earlier than the dining room. Instead of explaining the situation professionally, the server responded in a very rude tone: "Well, you guys can eat and order, but at 10:00 PM you need to be gone and out the door." Another employee then stepped in to back him up, making the interaction feel even more uncomfortable. I completely understand how the restaurant business works. I've been around the industry long enough to know that kitchens often stop taking orders before closing or that staff are trying to finish cleaning at the end of the night. If they had simply said, "We're sorry, but our kitchen is already closed," or even, "We can still serve you, but we're finishing up for the night," we would have completely understood. There was no reason to speak to us disrespectfully. What made this experience frustrating is that we never came in with an attitude or demanded special treatment. We were polite from the moment we walked through the door. We simply asked a reasonable question based on the restaurant's posted business hours, and instead of receiving a courteous explanation, we were met with unnecessary hostility. Customer service is just as important as the food. A welcoming attitude can make guests want to return, while a rude interaction can overshadow everything else. Disappointing Experience - Cold Food and Tough Chicken I rarely leave reviews, but this visit was bad enough to warrant one. I went to this Chinese buffet hoping for a decent meal, but the food quality was seriously lacking. Almost everything on the buffet line was lukewarm or straight-up cold -- definitely not up to safe serving temperatures. It felt like the food had been sitting out for hours without being refreshed. The chicken dishes were especially disappointing. General Tso's, and even the sweet and sour chicken all had pieces that were either overcooked and rock hard or rubbery and dry. Some bites were so tough I couldn't even chew through them. And it wasn't just one item -- it was a pattern across most of the buffet. The fried rice was bland and looked like it had been reheated and the lo mein tasted stale. For the price, I expected hot, fresh food -- not this mess. Buffets in general are kind of crazy. I went here on New Year's day 2015. Residing in the east county nearly all my life, I'm surprised I haven't been here yet. Onto the buffet. We were quickly seated and got right to round 1. I was already happy once I saw the soft serve ice cream machine. They had a wide array of food from crabs to chicken nuggets. I had my fare share of the allotted choices and tapped out earlier than I would have liked, hoping to maximize the roi. I was satisfied especially after two trips to the soft serve ice cream machine and then 2 strawberries dipped in the super cool chocolate fountain. Terrible service. My sister wanted chinese food, and I warned her about it and she did not listen. When I walked in, the place was dead and empty around 5:00pm. I told the woman that my sister wanted to eat and not me so...... she looked sort of upset. They were rushing us to leave. These employees have no customer service etiquete. they are always mean and reluctant to refund the money if the food is bad. the first bad experience I had, I got the wrong order and i wanted what i ordered but they did not want to make an exchange or refund. The buffet failed to meet our expectations during our visit. The extensive food selection included many dishes that were either cold or overcooked, or had been left out for too long. The fried rice presentation appeared hasty, and numerous dishes lacked both taste and freshness. The staff members failed to notice us, so we had to signal for service to obtain drinks, and our plates remained unattended throughout our visit. I went to this buffet thinking I was going to enjoy everything served on the menu, that was not the case. The crab legs tasted rubbery and old. I felt like they had been sitting out for too long or in the freezer. The side dishes were not great either. The service was sub-par and had rude clerks as they would mouth stuff to each other and laugh.There was not one person around to help us figure out where the line ends or begins, even when walking in there was like no greeting to welcome us to the restaurant. they have a great spread and an awesome look frog legs,crab legs,chicken legs oh my but the service and the food quality sucks staff barely speaks english and keeps to themselves the last few times i ate there i have gotten food poisoning from the frog legs and spent the night vomiting the last time i went there was in the afternoon where a very creepy homeless woman who appeared to be on drugs was following us around in the place and when we left she was writing license plate #'s down at the entrance while the staff did nothing read more

I was here for a Saturday lunch. The place was busy. I had to wait for 1 minute to be sitted. The food was good for the price $9.99. There were lot of varieties of food though some were already cold.The sushi variety, I would say good. If you have a big appetite like me, this is not a bad place. I would not consider service as a 5 star and I understand because of this place being very busy with handful people working here. Very impressed by the huge prawns and overall roll size, good quality sushi. -House shrimp fried rice, rice had a good level of oily sheen to it, savory and fragrant but not overly salty. Shrimp was bouncy and fresh but not particularly seasoned. Overall, a good fried rice that makes me want to keep eating it. -Beef chow fun, my least favorite of the three but it's decent. Green pepper is not usually added in this dish and I think it made the dish less harmonious. Noodles were on the oily side and not so much of the flame/wok flavor that should be in this dish. Beef is tender and good though. Ambiance 5/5 -Nice, modern and Asian inspired decor. Comfortable seating and overall calm ambiance, good dining space.
