Pink Buddha fare is decent. Despite the pesto bismol pink I loved the buddhas dancing all over the place and , I did enjoy the orange chicken and Mongolian beef portions Service was great, never had a an issue here

Would never recommend this place to friends or family tbh, my mom paid 70$ for this & 5P wanna be lumpia smh . Take out Chinese gives way more portion mind you I paid 70$ for take out and I had 4 or 5 plates ! She also waited almost 30 mins for this crap so imagine waiting then coming home open it and it's this... idk how they always packed but you figure that's the only food last open in the casino and everyone pro lay tipsy or drunk and just want something in they system idk this was my 2 or 3rd time eating them mind you I complained the first time & I ate in the actual restaurant. Super cute inside but that's it just nice inside and the food is whatever .

The food and service were good. The wings this time were a bit oily but the flavor is delicious! Large dining area to eat in Or you can do take out.

Asian restaurant in Sycuan Hotel and Casino. Char siu bao was actually pretty good. Bao was steamed and fluffy. Char siu was moist. I would've liked to have a little more char siu to even out the meat to bun ratio. The pork dumplings were yummy too. Thick, Hand made wrappers. The dipping sauce could be a little less sweet. Now for the pancit. IMO, that's not pancit. Noodles were too thick to be bihon and too thin to be Canton. Tasted more like fried noodles. Overall, it was ok. The Filipino cashier seemed stressed out. Maybe that's why she was so abrupt with customers? It's ok, we all have days like that. Next time we're there, definitely trying the pho.

11:39 and still I haven't received my Food. I was the second person in line I order 10+ people came after me and everyone is eating or leaving . What horrible service I received today at pink Buddha.

    Chicken pad Thai 10/10

I would be coming back best pad Thai I have had around the area of El Cajon. And rancho this is the place located in sycuan casino

Beef chow fun should be called chow fun beef. "Where's the beef!!!"

12/2025 This place is ok if your looking for convenience at a casino where you may have lost some money. Hopefully, you received enough points to pay for your meal. The food is decent, but not for the price and what you would expect at a casino. The entrees average about $18 with meager portions. Some dishes don't have enough protein such as the "beef" chow fun where it's 80%-90% noodles with some scraps of beef. If you order take-out, they give you a pager that doesn't work if you walk too far. I was near the rear entrance and it never worked. Just check on your order in 20 minutes.

Pink Buddha bento box with spicy garlic chicken and fried rice
    Angelina C.

This restaurant is conveniently located in the Sycuan Casino. There are many other options in the casino for food, and I would not recommend this one. My plate was very simple- a pink Buddha bento box with spicy garlic chicken, fried rice, and veggies. The only thing on my plate that tasted good was the veggies. The garlic chicken was sour and soggy, and the fried rice was dry and not seasoned. My plate came with a side order of miso soup, which had lots of tofu and seaweed. Overall, I only enjoyed the miso soup and veggies. When I finished those, I tried the fortune cookie that came with my food. It was so stale! For nearly $30, you can get better food elsewhere. Their service is also unorganized here. When we ordered, we asked for everything to go, and for my mother-in-law's meal to be bagged separately because she was leaving after we got our food. When we picked up the food, they confirmed that her order was in the separate bag. When she got to the parking lot, she saw that she did not have her correct order- she had mine instead.

    Imperial chow mein
    Abby W.

After an unexpected early closure of the food service at the pool, we found ourselves inside the casino searching for food. Pink Buddha was the first place we came across and decided to give it a go. I love a good chow mein and the imperial chow mein hit the spot. I ordered mine without shrimp and veggies but it usually has shrimp, chicken and beef. The menu has a wide selection of Asian dishes, including Chinese, Vietnamese, Filipino, Thai, Japanese and Korean.

    Pad Thai
    Gladys P.

Back again and we decided this is the only restaurant at Sycuan that we want to eat at! Tried some new items like the pad thai and the honey walnut shrimp, liked both of them. The only thing we didn't like was the lumpia, sorry but they were about as bland as Jack-in-the-Box eggrolls. Not to fear, you guys made up for it with the ube cheesecake, sooo good!

I went here a while back for a quick Casino sesh. Food: * We got Sisig Tacos which was a 7/10. The sisig was cooked thoroughly, but I've had better sisig. I think it could have been more crispy. The sauce it came with was phenomenal because it was a cilantro, avocado, lime sauce that paired well with the salty sisig. The tortilla for the tacos was soft and was excellent for the overall tacos. 3 tacos for $15 * Shumai was 7/10. The flavor and taste was as expected, but 3 Shumai for $8 was not what I expected portion wise. * Bento Box is 5/10 The Bento Box is customized which I chose the California Roll, Vegetable Fried Rice, Bulgogi Beef, and some stir fried Vegetables. The bento box also comes with Miso Soup. Since the food came out super quick, we could tell that the vegetable fried rice was cold/ not fresh. It was mushy and we could tell it must have been sitting out for more than a couple minutes. Also the California roll was not fresh, it must have been sitting in the fridge for a couple hours because the rice from the roll was really firm. The best part about the bento box was the Bulgogi beef which had amazing sweet and salty flavor. *Ube Cheesecake 10/10. Personally, I love Ube cheesecake so this cake was amazing! It was the right amount of sweetness. Not to sweet, and not to bland. It was the perfect desert after eating savory food. Our total came out to $60.08 so it is definitely on the more pricey side. Service: There is two lines, one for dine in and one for to go. When we got there there was no line at all, and the person working the register was very nice and took our drinks to us. We even asked about allergies and they made sure to not cross contaminate any nuts. Ambiance: Inside pink Buddha is very beautiful and refreshing because of the pink and golden hues. They have cute Buddha statues displayed, with a mix of greenery which gives a relaxed and aesthetic setting. I liked seeing a little moss display near the seating area. All tables also have oyster sauce, chili sauce, sriracha, and soy sauce for your convenience. Overall, a great place to eat with swift service!

    Pork banh mi sandwich
    Joyce L.

This review is based on the pork banh mi sandwich alone. For an unassuming restaurant in a casino, I did not expect much. But they have a nice casual ambiance, and that sandwich was good! I'd definitely get it again! The pork was nice & juicy, with the right balance of pickled veggies. Price point was also not too exorbitant (plus some casino food credit, woohoo!). Next time I'm gambling at Sycuan, will definitely stop by for a bite of that pork banh mi sandwich again! ;)

When I arrived, the restaurant was packed. I had to check in and take a number, but they managed to seat us in under 10 minutes. If you're not into crowds, I would definitely avoid Sunday's. The place smells decent, decently easy to find so no issues there. Cleanliness: the Buffett definitely needs some upgrading and cleaning. The rug smells and feels sticky to walk on, the counter area was clean but the ice cream section needed a deep clean, the cones were out of the packing and stale. The sprinkles were covered in ice cream and all over the place. The machine was covered in dried ice cream and caked on. I did not go into the restrooms, so I am not sure Food: cold. Everything except for the hibachi I got was cold. Shrimp, pork, chicken, all cold. They have an okay variety of deserts but other than the coffee and orange ones they were pretty bad. The flavor of the food was good, but the temperature of it was what really grossed me out and worry about food poisoning. It was during dinner at around 4pm so crab legs were included. My daughter devoured them and so did I. Best part of the buffet. Customer service: the waiters were very nice and kept our table clear. As soon as they notice we had our empty plates they would come around and grab them. I did notice and maybe it was just for that moment but we did get different waiters just grabbing our plates. Maybe they are doing a system where everyone waits on every table. Whatever they were doing it worked! We did mention at the end that our food was cold after we had paid and all because we were asked how we liked it. She did apologize and told us we should have brought up sooner so they could warm it up. That since it was slow the food gets cold. It was nice she apologized and all, but working in the food industry myself it is not any of the customers job to remind you to keep an eye on food temps. And you're supposed to keep food hot. Regardless they were nice. Would I come back? No. Would I recommend it? No. $60 for two adults $9 for my 4 yr old and $5 for my two yr old. So basically $80 for a family of 4 for cold food. Flavor was good though. So if you want to try it maybe you're lucky and get hot foods

At first, she said the order only could be done on 1 bill. And then later she compromised with 2 bills, 5 people per table. That was nice of her! I just had 2 coffees before entering so I decided to skip ordering Thai tea. But they had a large drink menu, of fruit teas and more. My friend had the lychee tea which was very large and looked super refreshing! They also came by often to top off our waters which was nice. To eat, I ordered the $16.99~, Cashew Chicken Stir Fry with White Rice. It came with onion, green onion, carrots, zucchini, bell pepper, and cashews. The carrots were beautifully cut, but a little too crunchy for me to properly enjoy in the stir fry. Everything else was delicious! I think this could definitely be shared between 2-3 people. It was a lot for me, even after a large hike. The sauce was flavorful and not overly salty. I didn't ask for any spice level, but I think I'd choose mild or medium next time. My friends ordered-- - $12.99, Dirty Fried Chicken: This had a blitz coating of lime, mint, and spices. And it was decorated with thinly sliced green onions with a side of sweet chili sauce. The chicken was hot and plump, not dry, and very much mouthwatering! Would recommend. - $14.99, Thai Grilled Chicken Salad: Grilled Chicken Breast on a bed of mixed green salad, carrots, and cucumbers with peanut dressing. It reminded me a little of chicken satay~ it smelled and looked incredible. I think I might order it next time, when I want something light and fulfilling after a hike. - $11.99, Cream Cheese Avocado Wontons (6PC): These came out piping hot and when you took a bite they were oozing. It was very creamy and when you dip into the plum sauce it's a delectable bite. A nice appetizer to share with the table. - $16.99-$19.99 (depends on what protein you get), Pad Thai: This proportion was manageable for one person. The restaurant used thin rice noodles, but it didn't clump excessively compared to other restaurants. The prices are what you'd typically see at a Pan-Asian restaurant, a few dollars more than what you'd want to spend. But these kinds of restaurants, in my opinion, are for enjoying with others. So, if you're sharing food and all that-- the price is worth it (esp with the quantity that is given). Next time, I would probably order one of their noodle dishes rather than rice. For appetizers, our favorites were the crispy ginger green beans (so flavorful and tasty!), the hand-rolled crispy egg rolls (yum!); and the crunchy tiger shrimp spring rolls (freshy and tasty; liked these better than the poached shrimp spring rolls or mango spring rolls). For entrees, our top favorites were the (1) chicken protein bowl w/ fresh seasonal vegetables in a delicious sauce w/ a touch of chili oil and tamari soy sauce; (2) the sweet tamari glazed salmon w/ wok fried rice noodles nad peanut tamarind sauce; and (3) the pad thai trio (w/ pork, chicken & shrimp). The tiger shrimp vermicelli w/ shrimp wontons (like a crispy egg roll), was good, but not the best I've had; noodles were thicker than usual. The spicy red curry ramen w/ pork belly had a very flavorful sauce, but the coconut broth made it quite heavy. The Vietnamese crepe w/ pork & shrimp was good, but had too many bean sprouts.
