Ok so we went to Sycuan for the first time in years. My wife was playing and I went to check out the Karma Lounge, a very nice bartender said to come in and was waving me in. I had to wait for my wife, so I told her I will be back. If im not mistaken the bartender used to work at Viejas. I Started off with the Karmas a B drink. it was very refreshing and a big different with the tea included. I had the brisket pho with beef broth my wife had the shrimp pho. they included a large plate of been spouts and veggies. This really hit the spot and was delicious, the beef broth complemented the brisket beef which was tender and cooked perfectly. We got out of there for around $60 for 2 phos and drinks. Well worth it in my opinion. we will be back.

It is regrettable that we experienced a 15-minute delay due to misleading signage. Upon inquiry, we were asked if our order was for dine-in or takeout. After indicating takeout, we were directed to an alternative queue. I expressed my frustration regarding the inaccurate signage, yet no corrective action was taken. Subsequently, we placed an order for vegetable stir-fry and rice. After a 20-minute wait, I observed that all customers who had ordered after us had already received their meals. Upon approaching the counter, our food was presented, appearing as though it had been prepared some time ago. This experience was awful!!!

This is the best kept secret at Sycuan !! Beautiful little Asian inspired bar tucked behind the Pink Buddha restaurant. Food is fantastic. Lots of choices from DimSum to tasty Chinese meals. Bar has games to play if that's your thing (It's mine!) and plenty of choices for beverages. The best part for last though. Marsha !! The service at this bar is "Best in Class". Can't say enough about Marsha. Never a dull moment !! Never an empty glass !! She will go out of her way to make sure you have everything you need. Ask her for her specialty drinks !! Thanks Marsha for being the perfect host !!

My favorite place to eat at when visiting Sycuan. Asian food to accommodate all of the off hour guests. Food is tasty, good quality and big quantity. Good to share. Can seat big and small parties. Lots of Buddha bellies to rub for good luck LOL. Overall I love this casino. Best place to go in San Diego if you wanna let loose. Sycuan has live music, slots, and table games. Beautiful ambiance all around. Casino also has ballrooms and hotel rooms.

This is one of the places that is open later. The items I order now compared to before taste so much better. The pork banh mi and chicken wings with rice are my favorite. The service is always nice and the ladies are friendly. I really like all the pink inside the restaurant.

Pink Buddha fare is decent. Despite the pesto bismol pink I loved the buddhas dancing all over the place and , I did enjoy the orange chicken and Mongolian beef portions Service was great, never had a an issue here

this was the worst meal I've ever had that dumplings were greasy the sushi smelled the lettuce wraps. I mean the whole experience was absolutely disgusting. I ended up having to throw up my food afterwards did not finish any of these meals. I really didn't speak to anybody for service because it was sort of like you order and you pay and then you sit down and you wait for them to bring out but the restaurant is cute. That's all I'm gonna say yuck.

Asian restaurant in Sycuan Hotel and Casino. Char siu bao was actually pretty good. Bao was steamed and fluffy. Char siu was moist. I would've liked to have a little more char siu to even out the meat to bun ratio. The pork dumplings were yummy too. Thick, Hand made wrappers. The dipping sauce could be a little less sweet. Now for the pancit. IMO, that's not pancit. Noodles were too thick to be bihon and too thin to be Canton. Tasted more like fried noodles. Overall, it was ok. The Filipino cashier seemed stressed out. Maybe that's why she was so abrupt with customers? It's ok, we all have days like that. Next time we're there, definitely trying the pho.

The food and service were good. The wings this time were a bit oily but the flavor is delicious! Large dining area to eat in Or you can do take out.

Would never recommend this place to friends or family tbh, my mom paid 70$ for this & 5P wanna be lumpia smh . Take out Chinese gives way more portion mind you I paid 70$ for take out and I had 4 or 5 plates ! She also waited almost 30 mins for this crap so imagine waiting then coming home open it and it's this... idk how they always packed but you figure that's the only food last open in the casino and everyone pro lay tipsy or drunk and just want something in they system idk this was my 2 or 3rd time eating them mind you I complained the first time & I ate in the actual restaurant. Super cute inside but that's it just nice inside and the food is whatever .

11:39 and still I haven't received my Food.

11:39 and still I haven't received my Food. I was the second person in line I order 10+ people came after me and everyone is eating or leaving . What horrible service I received today at pink Buddha.

I would be coming back best pad Thai I have had around the area of El Cajon. And rancho this is the place located in sycuan casino

Beef chow fun should be called chow fun beef. "Where's the beef!!!"

12/2025 This place is ok if your looking for convenience at a casino where you may have lost some money. Hopefully, you received enough points to pay for your meal. The food is decent, but not for the price and what you would expect at a casino. The entrees average about $18 with meager portions. Some dishes don't have enough protein such as the "beef" chow fun where it's 80%-90% noodles with some scraps of beef. If you order take-out, they give you a pager that doesn't work if you walk too far. I was near the rear entrance and it never worked. Just check on your order in 20 minutes.

Disclaimer: Had I not been part of a large gathering that was coming here, I doubt I ever would have come to this buffet. Pros: They had the World Cup playing on a "2017 New" 36ish inch TV with the tags still on it The food was mostly hot The cream cheese wontons were delicious, creamy, and crispy Cons: I tried like 11 items, and only the cream cheese wontons were hittin'. Out of the 11 items I tried, only 3-4 items were passable as decent The food was salty The black pepper chicken tasted like fish The food ended up giving my bubble guts the bubble guts-SHEESH! While there were loads of offerings, which I appreciate, the organization of said offerings were a bit strange. The hibachi was set-up going left to right, while the food stations on either side of it were going right to left, creating this crazy clash of people heading in opposite directions. It just wasn't for me.

At first, she said the order only could be done on 1 bill. And then later she compromised with 2 bills, 5 people per table. That was nice of her! I just had 2 coffees before entering so I decided to skip ordering Thai tea. But they had a large drink menu, of fruit teas and more. My friend had the lychee tea which was very large and looked super refreshing! They also came by often to top off our waters which was nice. To eat, I ordered the $16.99~, Cashew Chicken Stir Fry with White Rice. It came with onion, green onion, carrots, zucchini, bell pepper, and cashews. The carrots were beautifully cut, but a little too crunchy for me to properly enjoy in the stir fry. Everything else was delicious! I think this could definitely be shared between 2-3 people. It was a lot for me, even after a large hike. The sauce was flavorful and not overly salty. I didn't ask for any spice level, but I think I'd choose mild or medium next time. My friends ordered-- - $12.99, Dirty Fried Chicken: This had a blitz coating of lime, mint, and spices. And it was decorated with thinly sliced green onions with a side of sweet chili sauce. The chicken was hot and plump, not dry, and very much mouthwatering! Would recommend. - $14.99, Thai Grilled Chicken Salad: Grilled Chicken Breast on a bed of mixed green salad, carrots, and cucumbers with peanut dressing. It reminded me a little of chicken satay~ it smelled and looked incredible. I think I might order it next time, when I want something light and fulfilling after a hike. - $11.99, Cream Cheese Avocado Wontons (6PC): These came out piping hot and when you took a bite they were oozing. It was very creamy and when you dip into the plum sauce it's a delectable bite. A nice appetizer to share with the table. - $16.99-$19.99 (depends on what protein you get), Pad Thai: This proportion was manageable for one person. The restaurant used thin rice noodles, but it didn't clump excessively compared to other restaurants. The prices are what you'd typically see at a Pan-Asian restaurant, a few dollars more than what you'd want to spend. But these kinds of restaurants, in my opinion, are for enjoying with others. So, if you're sharing food and all that-- the price is worth it (esp with the quantity that is given). Next time, I would probably order one of their noodle dishes rather than rice. However, I do expect a restaurant to provide reasonable and accurate expectations for takeout orders. If the kitchen is experiencing unusually long wait times, cashiers should communicate realistic pickup estimates rather than quote times they cannot meet. On this particular Saturday evening, we placed a takeout order at Ginger Noodle Bar at 7:50 PM. Our cashier, Cheryl, advised us that our order would be ready in approximately 15 minutes. Unfortunately, our food was not available until 8:35 PM--about 30 minutes beyond the promised pickup time. The experience became even more frustrating as we stood at the pickup counter waiting for our order, repeatedly asking whether the dishes coming out of the kitchen belonged to us. When our food finally arrived, it was placed in the designated pickup area without anyone notifying us, despite us and another couple standing there clearly waiting for delayed orders. This lack of communication added unnecessarily to the frustration, especially since we were missing the live band performance on the opposite side of the casino while waiting. To be fair, the food itself was exactly as expected. We ordered the Bo Luc Lac and Kung Pao Chicken, and both dishes were served hot, fresh, flavorful, and properly prepared. The order was complete with plenty of napkins, chopsticks, utensils, and fortune cookies. Unfortunately, good food alone could not make up for the excessive wait time and poor communication surrounding our pickup. We ordered takeout expecting to enjoy our meal while taking in the casino's entertainment, but instead spent nearly 45 minutes waiting for food that was promised in 15. Because of this experience, I find it difficult to give a stronger recommendation, and future guests ordering takeout should be prepared for the possibility that quoted pickup times may not accurately reflect actual wait times.

I have been wanting to come here for years, based on the great Eater 38 and Yelp reviews, and…read morefinally had the chance. We came with a group of 10 of us, so got to taste a lot of dishes. For appetizers, our favorites were the crispy ginger green beans (so flavorful and tasty!), the hand-rolled crispy egg rolls (yum!); and the crunchy tiger shrimp spring rolls (freshy and tasty; liked these better than the poached shrimp spring rolls or mango spring rolls). For entrees, our top favorites were the (1) chicken protein bowl w/ fresh seasonal vegetables in a delicious sauce w/ a touch of chili oil and tamari soy sauce; (2) the sweet tamari glazed salmon w/ wok fried rice noodles nad peanut tamarind sauce; and (3) the pad thai trio (w/ pork, chicken & shrimp). The tiger shrimp vermicelli w/ shrimp wontons (like a crispy egg roll), was good, but not the best I've had; noodles were thicker than usual. The spicy red curry ramen w/ pork belly had a very flavorful sauce, but the coconut broth made it quite heavy. The Vietnamese crepe w/ pork & shrimp was good, but had too many bean sprouts. The Fried Chicken was good, and very generous portion, but had a lot of breading and bones. Next time would like to try the pho. They also have a happy hour, currently 5-6 pm at the bar and outdoors w/ cocktail, wine, beer and appetizer specials. Friendly service and nice ambiance. Would definitely return!

I've tried 2 of 3 Omakase Set Meals. Their cuts on the nigiri are generous. I just wish they had a little most variety. Between 2 of the sets, the only differences would be the edamame and red snapper at a $9 difference. My favorite roll is the TSA! The seared tuna gave the roll a smoky also meat-like flavor that I loved. I also appreciate how the sauce placing is intentional. I never felt like their added sauces were overpowering, and each roll had balanced flavors. Service is also great every time. They check on you the perfect amount of times. Glassbox is a go-to date night spot! Try it out at least once!

We came during happy hour on a weekday, and they have a good selection of offerings on their happy hour menu. Off the Happy Hour menu, we ordered: -SKEWERS (1 chicken, 1 beef): Both were decent, I think I preferred the chicken skewer as it was juicier, and the beef one had some drier pieces. -SHISHITO PEPPERS: Pretty standard. Felt like there were more spicy ones than you'd normally expect, but I guess we just got unlucky (or lucky, depending which you like) -KARAAGE: Juicy with a good crunch! -NIGIRI (5 PIECE): A great option if you want to try a little of every fish! -LYCHEE MARTINI: Light, sweet, and refreshing! Off the regular menu, we ordered: -GRILLED GALBI: Comes with kimchi and rice. Probably recommend splitting this amongst 3-4 people, otherwise it can get too heavy! -HAMACHI CRUDO: Light and refreshing and the perfect touch of yuzu -3 WAY SALMON ROLL: Interesting concept with 3 parts of salmon stuffed in the roll: salmon, salmon skin, and salmon eggs. I love salmon so I enjoyed this, and it was nice to order a roll to get something that was a bit more filling! Service-wise, things were quick, but I wish they would have timed the dishes a bit better. We had a small 2-person table that didn't fit much, but instead of waiting until some dishes were cleared, they still brought out the galbi entree while our table was full with other dishes. They ended up having to leave it on the table behind us, so we had to keep an eye on it, and it was no longer sizzling by the time our table was cleared enough to fit it. Overall, this is a decent spot to get some seafood and other dishes. I think you can get pretty good value out of happy hour, not sure I'd come back during regular menu hours though since I can see the bill adding up super quickly.
